Title: Examining The Situation
Description: For whoever.

Gabriel - June 12, 2005 03:31 PM (GMT)
Moving with a deadly grace a man of average hieght walked calmly to a chair near the back of the club. His slightly long hair was brushed neatly and his shirt was nicely pressed. Even wearing a plain white shirt he made it seem like he was wearing a royal robe with a matching crown. Brushing the seat of the chair first the man sat down before scanning the room to see what all the fuss was about. Everything seemed normal, though the music was not his type, other then that the place seemed to be the normal modern mortal club.

It was only after the first three vampires approached him that he weakened his own shields some, that would scare most to death after all he had seen what a little bit of weakening to his sheilds had done to a vampire that was quite old herself. Tristan sighed a bit before studying the mortals again.

Lately he had been taking on his own personality more and becoming less reclusive. In the past his socailizing had been limited to walks and going to a few places with his kin Mitchifer. Now however he was feeling much more alive then before and had decided to find out more about the covens in this city. He had decided to start with the Tarepha first as they were under a new leader, or so Mitchifer had said, which ment that he had someone new to meet.

He could already tell the new leader did have some age under her belt but it was nothing compared to his and he wanted to find out how much would change with this new leader and whether or not he needed to pull his kin from the coven. He doubted he would and if he did, he didn't think it would get violent. The younger vampires tended to be more likely to try and push him to a fight then the ones who knew a few things.

As another vampire had become slightly brave and begun to come closer to Tristan he weakened his sheilds a little more and let another wave of power lash out to scare the vampire off and send them back to the crowd and away from him. 'These fools are almost to easy. The leader before now must have been a fool as well. I wonder how foolish this new one is? Well that remains to be decided I geuss.'

Tiara Vinake - December 22, 2005 03:14 AM (GMT)
Time for a change of sceanery. Time to get out of the typical bar with the loud rave music or the usual bar with drunken older men who couldn't do anything but drown their sorrows with beer about their lost wives. Time for something with a darker twist to suit Tiara's personality. And what better place than The Sinister Puppet.

She had briefly heard about this place once or twice... but never really had a change to get around to visiting it. She had heard it was the usual hang-out place for the stereo-typical goths or freaks... though the only reason she wanted to visit it was too see what all the fuss was about it... not to mention maybe to stop and have a drink or two.

As she walked in, the first thing that was brought to her attention... wasn't the darker music... but the unusual decorating. Her eyes slowly rose to the cieling to spy numerous 'bodies' handing from nooses, and even shakled to the walls. They looked pretty real... but she doubted it. It added a nice touch in her opinion. And if they were real... props to whoever got away with it.

Pushing through the crowd, she took a seat at the bar next to a man in a plain white shirt. She herself wasn't dressed in anything flashy. Just a pair of slightly baggy pants (For a girl), and a red corset with long-sleeved fishnet underneath. And for when she was outside, she had a small jacket that came to about her waist (Which was slug over her lap at this moment). Nothing special.

Waving the bartender over, she quickly ordered a red bull vodka. This would not only give her a nice high with the alcohol... but would keep her going for a while that night. The bartender nodded and had it to her in a matter of moments. She smiled slightly and grabbed the drink, and bringing it up to her lips... in one swig she had about half the drink down. So far... this place wasn't half bad.

Gabriel - December 22, 2005 04:19 AM (GMT)
As bartender walked away from the young girl who had taken the seat next to Tristan he left his mind tighten with slight annoyance. 'You shouldn't get annoyed with mortals.' I'm not annoyed with her, I'm annoyed with the fact that I can hardly scare her off with my power. I was trying to sit alone. 'Well, unless you plan to let this woman kick you out of a bar then you best deal with it. Perhaps you should try and start up a chat? You said you wanted to talk to more people.' I meant vampires. 'Well, you don't always get what you want now do you?'

The man knew it would be pointless to try and argue with the voice, it wouldn't respond any longer. Some lingering trace of his time of madness during his hiding centuries ago that refused to leave. The voice that had kept him company in those dark stone buildings.

He stopped dwelling on that though and began to actually look at the woman next to him. She had nice curves and was no where near unattractive, though hardly his type, she looked like most mortals in this age really though that might have been because he took no real interest in the average mortal of this time. Rather then continue to stare though he started to think of her uses, he wasn't hungry and she would not do as a servant in his manor but, perhaps the voice had been right and he should just speak with her. All the time he was doing this he had been rubbing his ear smiling faintly, the way he tended to do when admiring art.

"Do you get that drink often?" His voice had a slight chill to it, someone not used to speaking to new people. "I've tried it once or twice though I never really had much of a taste for it, then again though this isn't the kind of place I usually drink at." His voice grew less chilled as he moved spoke more, his eyes focused on her only slightly. Enough to show that he was listening to her but not staring at her.

Tiara Vinake - December 22, 2005 04:46 AM (GMT)
Tiara glanced sideways to whoever was talking to her. It wasn't a half-bad looking guy... but she could already tell by her perfectly pressed outfit... he wasn't her type. But what would be the harm in talking to him? None, right? Just some lonely soul who wanted to strike up a conversation with a complete stranger at the bar. Sounds like a lot of people Tiara ran into.

"No... I'm more or less of a fan of rum." She shrugged. Obviously she was a drinker... and didn't hide it. Actually... she's been drinking ever since she ran away from Los Angeles after she killed her father. Ever since then she's been stealing drinks, or bribing others into giving her drinks. But now that she was legally able to drink, she didn't have to drink behind closed doors.

She nodded again to the bartender to refill her drink, then noted not to be stingy on the vodka. She then tuned back to the man next to her, responding to his last comment, "Yeah, I know what you mean. This is my first time coming here so I don't know it very well. But so far it's okay by my standards." she muttered. Her voice was kind of distant with a dark tone behind it. Another thing that was apperently obvious... she didn't talk much to people... period.

She shifted slightly in her chair with another sip of her drink. "So, you got a name?" She asked trying to keep the conversation up.

Gabriel - December 22, 2005 06:27 AM (GMT)
"I hear you on the rum, that's a good drink when made right." Tristan nodded slowly now wishing he had some good rum from down south. After a moment though he over more at the woman mulling over her question a moment before answering, "My names Tristan, and you are?"

He kept his eyes focused mainly on the glass of brandy infront of him, hardly great stuff but it was better then some of those weak drinks he had seen in this day and age, only glancing at the woman he was speaking with every now and then.

"Yea, it's not my kind of club really but, I have a old family member who comes here alot and I told him I'd check it out now that it's under new management. It's definately a place you wanna be careful in though, I've heard some horror stories about this place and well, you just might wanna watch your back."

He couldn't come straight out and tell her that some vampires might swing by and bang her then leave her bloodless in a alley but, maybe she would take the advice to heart and keep an eye on who she decided to dance with.

"So, what do you do for a living? Anything amazingly interesting?" He looked back at his brandy before taking a drink and downing the rest in a gulp, weak stuff compared to the old days when you could find the good stuff for a reasonable price.

Tiara Vinake - December 22, 2005 06:37 AM (GMT)
Mike... the cold-hearted killer who left her father as a bloody pulp in the livingroom floor after she got the better of him with a damn fork...

"Tiara." She murmmered. The last time she had been called Mike was when some woman, out of the blue, had came up to her in The Tequila, and called her by her real name. how she figured it out was still a mystery to Tiara. Not to mention Tiara swore that if anyone else knew of her past here... she's have to kill them.

Taking another sip of her drink, she shifted slightly to face him. "And I'm sure I can handle myself. Thanks for the advice... but I doubt half the storied involving this place are true. And if they were... what difference would it make? I know how to defend myself." She murmmered.

When fending for yourself at age sixteen... you learn how to fight to get things you need... and to keep people away. Tiara had her own way of fighting, it included a mix of street brawling, martial arts, and kickboxing that she all taught herself that suited her.

So if it came down to it... she could kick someone's ass pretty easily. Even a grown man if she was up to it.

"But as for my profession..." She began with a slight laugh, "Nothing too exciting. Just a simple waitress." She shrugged taking another sip. "what about you. Do anything exciting?"

By the way he was dressed... she highly doubted he did anything that would cost his nicely pressed outfit to get wrinkled. Probably a paper pusher for some firm or something. But what did Tiara know?

Gabriel - December 22, 2005 06:51 AM (GMT)
Crap, I didn't think she would ask me that. I should have realized it was gonna be asked, "Um...I own three rather large companies around the world..." He kept his eyes fixed on his empty brandy glass hoping no one overheard, heaving them decide they could try and make a few easy bucks by mugging him would be unwanted, sure he could handle them like a infant but, he really didn't want to kill anyone this evening.

Tristan glanced up at her, "Really though all I do is sign off on a few papers that get sent to me and then read the days away." No lies in there, sure he hadn't mentioned feeding on humans but, no point in doing that.

"Regardless of what you think though, you should watch your back around here. Even if you can defend yourself it would do little good against someone with a gun or a group of people. Trust me when I say watch yourself, don't let my clothing fool you, I've been in my fair share of bad situations and this place breeds some of the worst kind of people."

He resisted the urge to tap into her mind, it would be pointless to know what the woman thought of him in truth. He had a feeling that if she stayed like this though she might very well end up as a meal for a younger vampire. "So what brings you to this bar? Just wanting to try out the new place or maybe you're meeting someone here?"

Tiara Vinake - December 22, 2005 07:09 AM (GMT)
Tiara laughed slightly. "That has to have been the most exciting job I've ever heard aobut." she commented, sarcasm seeping from her voice. She wasn't much of a buisness woman seeing as she was so anti-social. though it didn't bother her too much. Being alone most of the time had it benifiets. And not having to trust anyone definitly had it's perks. And anyone who disagreed with that obviously didn't have anything to hide like Tiara.

"But no... I'm not meeting anyone." She shrugged finishing her drink and getting another fill on it. She went through drinks like water. "I just heard about this place a few times and thought maybe it was worth while to check out. So far it's okay. Though I have only seen the bar." She shrugged with another slight laugh. She did have intensions though of exploring the rest of the place. Just not at this exact moment.

"And please... you're starting to sound like a mother." She said She would have said 'my mother' or father... but obvious reasons in her past kept her from refering any parental figures to herself. "If I can't handle myself, I'll be sure to drop you a note saying you were right." She muttered, once again with the sarcasm, as she took another gulp of her drink.

"What brings you here? You have a date or anything? Or maybe your just looking for a little drunken whore on the dance floor for a one-nighter?" She laughed. she knew this guy wasn't the type for such... and that's what made it all the better, or atleast all the funnier. That would probably be the last thing on his mind was someone who was drunk, and a whore. And the last place he's probably look to find one would be on the dance floor. Especially with one of those people.

Gabriel - December 22, 2005 04:50 PM (GMT)
Tristan grinned, "Why would I want a drunk one? They wouldn't be able to remember my skill in bed if they passed out, and that would hardly be worth it." He laughed a little before looking up at her still smiling, "No I'm not meeting anyone, though I had some hopes that I could speak to the owner of this club she seems to have ignored my request. It's really not much of shock but, I did have hopes."

"Being a mother doesn't seem like much fun, somehow I seem to have adopted plenty of children along the way without me knowing it, and having to worry about other peoples needs can be annoying sometimes but, in truth it's nice having some family and freinds around when you're bored and lonely."

He was more the glad to have his kin around but, friends meant people who you had to be careful with. After all he could hardly allow all his mortal 'friends' to know that he was a vampire and killed a person or two a week.

"So, how long have you been in this city? Seems like a pretty rough place from the months I've lived here. I mean homicides happening constantly and rarely do they find the murderer, it's insane." He had hardly noticed that the bartender had filled his glass up, upon realizing it was full though he quickly gulped the brandy down, hoping to forget some of the past.

"Yeah, I have no real idea why I'm even still here. I knew that she wasn't coming down to see me ages ago but, here I am just sitting her rambling like a grandfather." He motioned the bartender over again so he could have his drink filled back up before gulping it down again.

Tiara Vinake - December 23, 2005 12:04 AM (GMT)
"A lot of men use that excuse... so it's highly unlikely." she laughed slightly about the whore conversation. "But I myself don't have the slightest clue to who... let alone where the owner is. As you already know, this is my first time here. Though I hope their just being fashionably late and they end up meeting you. It kind of sucks going out of you way for someone who ends up ruining it." She shrugged.

She brought her drink up to her lips and took another sip... draining about 3/4 of the glass, and pushing it to get another refill. "But I think that's another thing we don't have in common. I myself would rather be bored and lonly than have a family around." She scoffed... remembering what her 'real' family was really like. Not so idealistic.

With the way Tiara was brought up, it wasn't shocking she loathed any kind of family values and such. Partially why she hated the holidays. So family oriented... it made her sick. Not to mention hard to celebrate anything when all you did was harbor pure hatred at your family. But just as long as she didn't have to put up with any of that... she felt she'd be fine on her own.

"I've lived here for about five years after I moved from Los Angeles." More like after I ran away, she thought silently. "But I don't really mind all the homicides... just as long as they don't have anything to do with me. I'm pretty sure whoever does it has pretty good motivation. And seeing as I hardly talk to anyone... no one would really have a reason to kill me." She said... but added yet another thought at the end, more lilely I don't mind them cause I'm just as low as they are.

"And I don't mind if you ramble. Just as long as you don't go into your life's story... then I'll just have to kick you out myself." She laughed slightly as she grabbed her freshly filled drink and took another gulp.

Gabriel - December 23, 2005 02:01 AM (GMT)
He gulped down his last cup of brandy and when the bartender returned he waved him off, "Well motivated? You could say that but motives don't always have to do with both people. What if the motive was to live? What if you had to kill someone you had never spoken to, never even looked at before, just to stay alive? When you think about it like that doesn't feel so safe to just not talk to anyone at all now does it?"

Tristan looked a long look into his empty glass before continuing, "Sometimes people do things they don't expect to do. Put a hundred men in a situation that most will run and atleast one will fight back. You see, human beings have reflexes but, sometimes they do things not even they would think about doing, something will happen against all odds and throw even the most carefully planned calculation out the window. It's the random variable that does that, if you stand in the same place for a limitless amount of time eventually you will get struck by lightning no matter the odds."

"Anything given enough time will happen. Lets say someone was bullied every day for years and they always just took it, logically the next day they would just take it but no, due to this variable perhaps they snap and kill the bully. So, even though you may feel safe simply by distancing yourself from everyone else, that might very well lead to your own death. A theif is not on the same level with another theif just for being a theif, and sometimes things happen in this universe, things we mere beings cannot even begin to understand even with limitless age."

Tristan sighed and looked down at his watch slowly, "Well I think my rambling has taken up enough of your time tonight I think. If you ever want to get out of the waitressing business give me a call." He reached into his pocket to pull out a small black card, "You'd be surprised what kind of jobs I can offer." Standing slowly Tristan headed towards the door with a easy flowing grace of a noble, people seem to part for him naturally leaving a clear path through the dance floor.

Tiara Vinake - December 23, 2005 02:24 AM (GMT)
Tiara nodded briefly through his seemingly never ending speech. Though held her tounge with her own comments during the process. Sure some people did have motives... and just killed for the simple fact of. She knew that people would randomly pick prey off the streets... and maybe it wasn't the best to be constantly on your own, just for the simple fact it made you all the more vunerable. But espite these odds... the conversation didn't make Tiara flinch at all.

She had been through hell and back, and death would be something she would probably welcome if it came that quickly. Living in a hell hole with who seemed like the punishing devil himself couldn't be any worst than an eternal sleep, in Tiara's eyes. Though... just to put the point to the subject. Sure Tiara wouldn't mind dieing at times... though she'd still put up a hell of a fight for her life if it came down to it. She might not have had much worth living for... but if she was lucky she could find something.

She was snapped from her thoughts when he handed her a black card. She glanced over it, then finally let his words soak in. She wouldn't mind becoming something other than a waitress... so maybe it wouldn't hurt to give this guy a try. Gulping down the last of her drink and throwing down some money, she jumped from her barstood and threw her jacket on as she followed him. She waited till he was outside then finally exited the place herself.

"Hey, wait!" She said as she shoved her arms trough her jacket to finally get it on her snug. She then zipped it up slightly and shoved her hands in her pockets. "What kind of jobs are you talking about?" She asked. She was thankful that they could actually talk now instead of having to practically scream over the music.

Gabriel - December 23, 2005 02:52 AM (GMT)
Tristan turned when she followed him out, almost smiling to himself, "Jobs? Oh yes, my offer. Well we'll have to see what happens if it comes to that. I'm more then a little wealthy you see so I tend to pay people for rather strange tasks. Within one of my company's divisions I'm sure we could find something to suit your unique strengths. You mentioned being able to take care of yourself in there, I could always use someone to help train bodyguards for my many clients, or if you are good with weapons I do have a military research division."

Of course he doubted she'd be interested in those lines of work really, they didn't seem to suit the little he knew about her. "Other types of jobs though, well lets just say sometimes it's not best to speak of them outside for anyone to hear." He didn't make any hand motions or dial a phone but, none the less a sleek black limo pulled up to stop next to him, the driver's passenger window rolled down to show a very pale woman with sleek black hair driving.

"Like I said, if your interested you can call or if you're in a hurry you can take a drive with me. I'm just going to be running a few errands, seeing a few people who need to remember who pays them, and then I'll be headed to my office and you can see what I have to offer for yourself." He didn't wait for her to respond before opening the door for himself and stepping into the limo leaving the door open for her if she decided to follow though.

Tiara Vinake - December 23, 2005 03:00 AM (GMT)
Tiara bit her lower lip considering her options. He had no idea how good those jobs sounded to her. She was ready for something like that to come her way... though she had only known the guy for a few minutes. Should she really jump into a car with him? Why the hell not...

Nodding slightly, she followed him and slipped into the limo. She hadn''t ever ridden in one before... though didn't exactly know what all the fuss was about. It's just a longer car for rich people. But her attention then turned back to Tristan. She was really curious about what he had to offer her.

"Hmmm... Actually, I find those jobs pretty well suited for myself. Though it would be nice to see what else you had. I doubt a whole lot of people being bigger than me would take kindly to me kicking their asses." She laughed slighty. Though it was the truth. She could kick a full grown man to the curb... and then some if she was up to it. And she didn't bother to hide it.

Gabriel - December 23, 2005 03:11 AM (GMT)
"Oh? Well if you like those jobs then I'm sure I'll set up a tour of the deparment then. However let me take care of these errands first then I can show you around the office." He gave a slight gesture to the fridge in the limo, "You can help yourself to anything you want from that, I don't use it that often."

Turning to the driver he whispered a few words and then the car sped off towards downtown. "So then, tell me about yourself and what would qualify you for those jobs if you truly are interested in them, I warn you though I tend to find out about people regardless of what they tell me so do try and be honest, trust me no matter what you tell me I won't be shocked or judge you as a bad person for them. Anything you have done is in the past and I'm sure you had good reason to do it."

After only a moment or two the limo pulled to a stop infront of a rather nice home, Tristan nodded to Tiara excusing himself for a moment to tend to some business and to feel free to chat to the driver. "She's a very nice person really." Then turning towards the driver he said a few more words to her sounding something like don't bite before stepping out and moving up a set of steps into the home.

Tiara Vinake - December 23, 2005 03:18 AM (GMT)
tiara blinked once before shaking her head slightly. She didn't just hear that. Sighing heavily, she waited till Tristan had left before deciding to actually talk to the driver. She didn't know exactly what to say, 'How's driving for ya?' She licked her lips slightly, how stupid that would sound. The only thing she could really think of asking was about Tristan. It was the only logical thing to ask about seeing as she might know something considering she was his driver.

"So what exactly does Tristan's company do? Assuming you know, of course." She asked. Though was kind of worried about telling Tristan about herself. He said he always found out about anything... whether people told him or not. but what would he do if he found out she was a cold-hearted murderer? Would he not judge her then?

Maybe it would be best just to tell him and just get it out of the way. If he over-looked it, then she would be lucky... though if he thought too much of it... Tiara messed up again. She finally decided to just save that for if he asks. She just tell him her qualifications like he asked for. It wasn't like he asked for her who life's story.

Gabriel - December 23, 2005 03:32 AM (GMT)
The driver looked back at Tiara clearly judging her before answering, "Tristan's company does what it does. It makes money, which is the only thing he uses it for honestly. His company does everything though mostly research. How much you will even see him will depend on what he hires you for. If he hires you for his company you will most likely never see him again, however if he hires you for one of his own things then you might be graced with a meeting with him every now and then hopefully for better things then what that poor man and there is going through." The driver pointed to the house.

No noise came from the building and no lights were turned on. "My only advice for you and Tristan is to always always always do as he asks. He will not forsake you unless you forsake him first and if you ever need anything he'll be there to bail you out. I know people who have been set for life after a meeting with Tristan and I also no people who are now crying in ditches for betraying him."

The door opened to admit two men, one was Tristan and the other was a equally well dressed man who seemed to be pleading with the dignified man who brushed him off. As Tristan walked down the steps and back into the limo the other man slid down the door to the ground crying.

"Luica please take us to my office, no not the manor one. Not yet atleast." The woman nodded and turned back to the rode as the car drove off. "Now then, about you life."

Tiara Vinake - December 23, 2005 03:45 AM (GMT)
Tiara felt her stomach clench. What had she gotten herself into now? She watched as the man practically fell to peices in his door way while Tristan sauntered back to the car and slid inside without the least bit of emotion on his face. It was pretty creepy... though Tiara just bit her tounge and dealt with it. She couldn't possibly tell the truth about her life. Maybe she could... twist things her way to work for her?

"Okay... well, when I was younger, my dad taught me in a harsh way to be independent. He taught me to rely on myself, while at the same time giving me physical lessons on strength and stamina." She muttered.

My fther beat me to hell and back... to where eventually I just gave in and took it like it wasn't even there. I just imagined the pain wasn't even there.

"Then when I got older... I got away from my family to do some of my own lessons. I was already pretty fexlible and strong from what my father had taught me... so it wasn't that hard to find fighting styles that fit my strengths."

After I killed my father with a fork, I ran away and had to live on my own in the street, fighting to live... but practically living to fight.

"I got older, and with every year I fought I got stronger and stronger to where I could take on full grown men while I was just a teenager using my body... and any resourse at my desposal to win."

I had to be strong to keep from being killed... and to keep from killing again while I was only 16.

"Though now I still have that strength, though I'm slightly more focused and I can last longer in a fight while still taking quite the beating. I always finnish what I start, and finally I don't hesitate to lash out when people piss me off."

I'm still as strong as I was.. but nothing could compare to the beating my father did before I killed him."

Tiara shifted slightly in her seat to face Tristan better. Hopefully if he was gullible enough he'd believe her and buy the whole thing without bothering to look farther into her past to find out more of the truth. The last thing she needed was someone else knowing about her life as Mike.

Gabriel - December 23, 2005 05:46 AM (GMT)
Tristan nodded with her words carefully, "So, when you were younger your father beat you. Something happen and you left. You lived on your own so you had to be strong. Well you left out a few things I would have liked you to mention but, that will do for now."

He turned to the driver nodded slowly, "Take us to the manor, no need to go to the headqaurters I think she'll fit in just fine." The driver nodded curtly and turned town a few side roads heading away from downtown now. "Now then, before I show you my manor I think we better go over a few things. Firstly, your pay. You will get paid enough to live and then some. " He rubbed is chin in thought before continuing, his voice still casual and collected with the same slight chill to it.

"I don't know the exact amount off the top of my head but, I think somewhere close to sixteen hundred thousand a year plus bonuses would be a reasonable amount but, I'll have to talk to my accountant. Also I will cover any medical needs you have as well as take care of any legal matters you come across. You are more the welcome to stay in a home I will supply or I can simply give you some money to find a place to live. However firstly, I need to know. Will you take the job? If you take this job you will be sworn to secrecy, some of my clients don't like being remembered, and even after retirement I'll make sure you are well taken care of. So how does my offer sound to you?"

He didn't sound eager, he was just hiring someone new. It was an everyday thing to him and if she refused he would simply have the driver drop her off and give her money for a cab. Nothing gained and nothing lost.

Tiara Vinake - December 23, 2005 05:57 AM (GMT)
Tiara silently let her breath out, glad the anticipation was over. He pretty much knew what she ment and didn't care for it. Good... not to mention she'd be getting a new job that paid a bit more than waitressing. This was turning out to be an odd, yet interesting day all because she sat next to him in a club.

"Yeah... that's one way to shorten it." She muttered, more to herself than anything. "But it sounds like a deal to me. Secrecy if perfectly fine with me seeing as I hardly talk to people as it is. And I have a few of my own I have. And the pay sounds more than good enough for me. But no thanks, I don't think I'll be needed a place to stay. I have one that's fine right now." She muttered.

She still had a few more questions but didn't want to begin to sound like she nagged. She still wondered what exactly she would be doing... when she would start... who would she be working with (Or what)... and when she needed to quit her other job. Hopefully those would be answered soon.

Gabriel - December 23, 2005 06:21 AM (GMT)
Tristan nodded glad she accepted the job before continuing, "Good, I had to make sure you would agree to working with us before going in depth. You'll most likely wind up working one training my guards but, like I said you'll be doing weapon research too, though unless you have a degree that you didn't tell me about you'll most likely just be testing them. For the most part it will be your job to help arrange security for my clients, and messing up security when it calls for it. I won't ask you to do any dirty work though."

He turned towards his driver as they began to reach the outskirts of the city. "Take us in the front if you don't mind." The driver nodded to Tristan before he turned back to Tiara, "You'll find my current staff well equipt and heavily armed, though it always helps to have some street brawlers in with the special ops officers. Who knows, eventually you might even be arranging security for myself and my kin but for now lower things." He paused for a moment looking away from her in a thought before shaking his head and turning back to her.

"Now then, you will need to start soon. I would say by next wedesday at the latest, at which time you can come to the address on the card. No it's not my manor house but, it's one of the smaller offices I operate out of in the city. Anyways, the people there will go over duties more and actually give you a time to come in. For the most part however you'll have most of your time to yourself. I assume they will give you some kind of training and some simple tasks at first but, I hardly call on them to guard anything. Usually just some of my more pathetic clients or something of value to myself."

The limo came to a pair of silver arched gates which parted quietly before letting the limo pass through. The yard was large and once to the peak of a hill the manor came into view. It's gothic style very different from the modernized buildings in the city. The building looked atleast three or four stories and quite large, housing several small libraries and dens along with sitting rooms and plenty of guest rooms. As the limo driver pulled the sleek vechicle to the steps that let into the building two women in neatly pressed sleek dress uniforms stepped to the door to open them leaving one standing still in case Tristan had brought more guest. "Welcome to my home, now then would you like to see inside or would you rather me have Luice drive you home?"

"Sounds good. I'll besure to drop my other job by tommorrow if possible. And I completely understand you in starting off small. I wouldn't want to bite off more than I could chew unless I knew I could handle it." She nodded. "But don't worry. I'll keep this card in my pocket so I won't lose it."

Tiara was already begining to like the job before she even began working. It definitly was a hell of a lot better than waitressing. though one thing still puzzled her. If this guy is supposedly so big, how come she never heard of him before? People talk, and word get's around quickly... especially in a diner, so why hasn't she ever heard his name mentioned or anything by some of the pressed suits that came through the doors?

Tiara shrugged it off. Her mind was doing it again, making her question herself, then make her back out of it. Well, Tiara was perfectly fine with what she was doing, and did need to be questioning herself. This guy took about as much of a risk as she did. He didn't even know her, and hired her on the spot. For all he knew she could have been a serial killed of people who picked her up in clubs. Pfft... fat chance.

When the car came to a halt, Tiara's head snapped outside and looked out the window. They had finally arrived at his house. And it was freakin' huge! Or at least in Tiara's eyes it was. Then when the two women came to the car, Taira guessed they must have been maids or servants of his. Would she end up like this? Tiara doubted it... but it couldn't hurt to dream.

"Ummm... Nah. That's okay. It's not like I have someone waiting at home, so I guess I'll come in." She commented as she glanced past him at the house.

((Would it be best if we took this to 'Living Spaces' to RP in his house?))
