Aracind slithered through crowds of hundreds of mortals. He wore a long black coat today, one you would associate with Russians, but yet in its own unique way it was stylish. The city streets where surprisingly crowded as it had just gone sundown. Perhaps the mortals where now running home as they did not have their sun to protect them. Aracind passed a man who was begging in the street, he had nothing for his own and lived as it seemed on this street corner. He watched Aracind with open eyes as if he knew of his vampire inheritance. Aracind smirked and continued to walk with the mans eyes piercing the back of his head as if Aracind where one of the victims himself.
Crossing the road Aracind smiled, and thought to himself. The gathering was tomorrow night; he needed to give an invite that everyone would see. The host, Aracind loved it so. To be the host and to watch as all the stories come together. He approached the sidewalk, and looked up. Above him was a billboard that was being striped.
"Hm" Aracind spoke. The streets where crowded though, He need to get to the board. He approached the side of the building; Looking down the alleyway there was no one there. Aracind hovered for a moment and savoured the gift of flight, before then moving upwards onto the side of board.
"What the hell your not supposed to be up here" The worker spoke. He was fat and his life was wasted on this job.
"Yes I am my friend, I am the inspector, return to the van... I will join you shortly" Aracind eyes flickered a moment and the worker stood transfixed.
"I will leave now" The worker spoke in monotone. Killing a man up here would make a scene to the general public. The worker left. It was time to give out the invite. He could feel the penetrating glaze of the hundred of mortals down below, and here and there an immortal watching. Aracind could not give up that he was indeed a vampire. So, instead he picked up the plaster and dipped it in black paint and started to write. He moved just like a normal human would, giving nothing about his identity to the watching crowds. He scrawled:
THE INVITATION - TO ALL
ARACIND LEOPARD
LEOPARD MANSION
18 AUGUSTA PARK
VICTORIA
DEMAITRE
12:00 - Tomorrow
He paused a moment and then thought about advertising and attracting mortals. So he finished with the slogan:
ALL DRINKS FREE
FOR SOME OF YOU, DRINKS ARE ON OTHERS.
Aracind smirked and finished what he was writing. Then turning around he smiled and walked backwards into the shadows before disappearing.
Bastet sat upon a roof in tight leather pants and her big winter coat, she smirked and giggled at Aracinds phrase, "Oh ill be there, ill be the bang of the party!" Bastet gave out her evil chuckle to say she was going to do something bad, and with that jumped up and speed along the roof top using incredible speed.
