Ravenwing opened the door to the diner and paused to look around. For once, his duster was not in sight as he wore his black jeans, with a white long sleeve shirt. His shoulder length black hair was tied back. A black stetson sat on his head, tilted to the right just a little bit. Finally, he let go of the door and walked to a nearby booth, newspaper in hand.
As he sat down, he took the stetson off and set it down on the table. A frazzled waitress came with a glass of water and a menu, then she hurried off to help a couple a few tables away. Many people talking at the end of the day made for a near constant hum of voices. Ravenwing looked at the menu and making his selection, he closed it and set it aside.
It had been a long day, with nothing real to show for it. He picked up the paper, flipping it open to the want ads, and began to read.
Revolzin went into the diner, not knowing why. He scanned it from behind his sunglasses, taking note of some ten mortals and a vampire reading the paper. Heh, vampires aren't usually reading the newspaper, so he found that somewhat odd. He toook a deep breath, taking in the smell of blood. And the absense of it from the vampire.
He took a seat at the counter, but didn't order anything, given he could not eat.
Ravenwing looked up as the man with the sunglasses walked in. Not sensing any trouble, he went back to looking at the want ads.
Soon the waitress came to take his order, and collect the menu for use at another table. Ravenwing shook his head at the RN and assisted living jobs, not exactly his kind of work. Carpentry jobs were very few. Surprising in a town of this size. He circled a ad looking for a mechanic. He might be able to work around the tools required.
The waitress came back with his meal, steak and fries and a iced tea. Ravenwing set the paper down and began to eat. All the while he ate, he mulled over the job prospects.
