Around four in the afternoon, as the sun began to sinl in the west, Ravenwing entered Mel's Diner. A look around shows that the usual mix of teens and oddjobbers are here. He picks a paper up from the stack of newspapers on the counter and sits down at the end of the counter.

As he reads the paper waiting on his lunch, Ravenwing occassionally looks up to see who is entering and leaving the diner.

After lunch, he inquires about suitable places for hiking. The owner of the diner suggested a camp ground outside of town. He gave directions and Ravenwing paid for his lunch and left.
