Title: Bittersweet Seduction
Description: Byrne! Over 'ere! ^_^

Silky waves of red hair swayed about her small waist as Kali glided gracefully in through the door. Her curved hips swayed in their feminine matter with their usual entrancing motion. Like the swinging watch of a hypnotist, but smoother. Glimmering ultramarine chasms studied the interior of the tavern, then scanned over the each individual inside. A small, seductive smirk danced across succulent dark red lips as many of the mortal men inside turned to watch her enter. She took a seat at the bar, crossing her slender legs and throwing back her hair behind her shoulders. The tender rushed over, almost tripping up on the way.
"Good Evening Ma'am," He panted. "What would you like to drink?" Everyone seated down the bar turned to look at her. Their faces seemed to say, 'What's someone like here doing in a place like this?'
"Have anything else apart from this?" She said, gesturing to the mugs of beer on the bar top.
"Oh yes of course!" He replied with a grin. "Red wine fin with you my dear?"
"That'll be perfect." She purred, her eyes glinted softly as she looked over the trembling tender.
"Your drink is right on it's way ma'am" He said as he backed away almost knocking over a few glasses as he did.
Kali giggled softly, then turned herself around to lean back on the bar top. She wore a tight fitting leather short top that came to just above the middle of her stomach. The sleeves were long and made of lace which was ruffled at the end. Her lower body was adorned by fitting leather hot-pants that defined that area very well. She fiddled with the zip of her knee high, thick bottoms, high heel boots, before allowing her eyes to wander about the room again. Who would be the next victim of her bittersweet seduction?

Raymond A. Swindell turned the corner into King Street, which blurred the line between alley and street by being so narrow, and saw the large sign of the King's Brewery. Most of its patrons were drunks or general losers, but it had a pleasant, old style interior, and sometimes contained some tempting targets.
He went inside and headed for the bar. As he walked, his eyes were inexorably drawn to a woman who sat at the bar. Usually he would order some drinks, and then sit in a corner, but not this time. He wanted to talk to this woman. He really wanted to talk to this woman. Sure, she was extremely attractive, with a superb figure and beautiful face, and she wore clothes that showed this off, but Raymond saw women like that fairly often. Something was different about this one. He decided it was probably just an odd mood, or hormones or something, and he started thinking of ways he could have some fun with her.
Murder, rape and simple violence were too common to appeal to Raymond. He needed to think of something original, as original as Chinese water torture must have been to those who first witnessed it. Maybe talking to her would give him some inspiration.
He sat down at the bar, next to her. The strange attraction he had felt towards her was even stronger now, as if he was being sucked into a vortex, spinning, his emotions confused. At least that's how he would have felt, had his mind not been as uniquely twisted as it was. He still had control of himself. Just.
"Can I get you a drink?" he asked.
"I've got a glass of wine on its way," she said, her voice soft and alluring, "but they don't have much of a selection."
"I wondered what a stylish lady like yourself was doing in a place like this. You're not exactly their average customer." He smiled. "Why don't we go somewhere a little more elegant? I'm Raymond Swindell, by the way," he said, shaking her hand.

Kali gave a seductive smile, shaking his hand gently. "My name is Kali," she replied, not bothering to give out her last name. She found it was long, and hard for some people to remember. Her glimmering eyes scanned over him slowly, taking in every detail of his form within her view. "Me? Stylish?" She spoke in her usual soft purr. She slipped her hand out of his and leant back on the bar, her short top moving a little further up, showing off more of her stomach. "I just wear what I feel comfortable in." She played with the waves of red hair that sat on her slender shoulders, winding them around her fingers. "So what more 'elegant' place do you propose we go?" she asked as the 'tender placed her glass of wine on the bar top. "Thank you..." She gave the tender a wink. He smiled nervously, hesitantly moving off to serve the rest of his customers. She reached out for the wine glass, pressed it to her lips and slowly sipped on the rich, dark red contents, never taking her eyes off him as she did.
((Thanks for correcting it for me! ))

She's really turning it on, thought Raymond, this is going to be easier than I thought. Maybe she's got a fetish for older guys...
"How about the Yesterday Man?" asked Raymond, "it's certainly a lot more classy than this place, and I think its mood would suit your slightly...gothic...taste in clothes."
Kali nodded, somehow managing to make even this movement erotic. They stood up, and Raymond took Kali's arm. They walked out of the King's Brewery together onto the street.
Raymond started turning over some ideas in his mind. This woman seemed like quite a slut, so maybe he should do something to do with that. Maybe something as simple as a knife in the chest, as she makes the first move would do just fine; girls like her always make the first move. It would be a type of divine justice, meted out by Raymond Anthony Swindell. He laughed at his own sense of irony, and then turned to Kali.
"What's your surname?" he asked, making conversation.
"It's long, and hard to remember, so I usually don't bother telling people," said Kali, exaggerating the words "long" and "hard" so subtly that Raymond almost didn't notice.
"I've got a good memory."
"Well then I'm Kali Celsiaer-Aphrodite."
"How exotic - Aphrodite, Greek goddess of love and beauty, I can see how that is appropriate, but what about Celsiaer? Is there any history behind that?"
Lucia Eros - April 11, 2005 04:26 PM (GMT)
"Not that I know of. I'd never cared to ask anyone. But 'Aphrodite' isn't really part of my last name, I suppose you could say it was like a nickname or a title." She played with the red waves on her shoulder again. An old habit she couldn't get rid of. She seemed to enjoy fiddling.
The heels of her boots gave faint clicks as they hit the pavement, her hips swaying as they always did. She turned her head. Her eyes gave a delightful glint as they scanned over Raymond once again. She ran her tongue over the tips of her fangs that only looked like normal canines. Their wouldn't retract until she needed them to.
'He may be slightly older than my usual victims, but that doesn't matter. This is going to be an interesting evening.' She thought, as she threw back her silky waves again.
"So, do you live in this area? I haven't been here for very long. A few months maybe. I travel a lot you see."
Byrne - April 11, 2005 07:09 PM (GMT)
"Yeah, I've lived here for most of my life. When you're working in finance, you don't have to move much," he said.
Raymond stopped. "Here we are." From the outside, the Yesterday Man looked like just another door - no sign, no decoration. But inside it was a different story. As they entered, its downbeat but polished appearance changed the look on Kali's face from seductive, but slightly displeased, to still seductive, but slightly pleased.
Raymond picked a table in a corner, as usual, but not too far from the door, just in case he needed to do the deed quickly, or make a quick escape should something go wrong.
His plan was coming together now. He would finish getting her in the mood, then take her to a nearby alley - he knew just the one - wait for her to go in for the kill, so to speak, and go for the real kill himself.
"So what do you do that makes you have to travel so much, if you don't mind me asking?"
Lucia Eros - April 12, 2005 06:29 PM (GMT)
"I'm an entertainer. I do dancing and singing and do tours around the world."
She lied, but very well. She did dance and sing, but they were not the reason she travelled. She just generally loved to travel. She had done for years...or should I say centuries to be more truthful. She'd done dancing in nightclubs before. She found it rather enjoyable.
She gave a smile as they came to sit down. A table in the corner near the door. Perfect. If she got bored of him she could finnish him off quickly. But it didn't look like she'd get bored of him as quickly as she did some of the other mortals. There was something about him that attracted her and kept her intrested. She wasn't sure what. She sat down with him, her eyes slowly scanning the place taking in every detail of the interior that she could see.
Byrne - April 12, 2005 08:35 PM (GMT)
She certainly looked and dressed like a dancer, but Raymond wasn't one hundred percent sure she was telling the truth. Still, that didn't exactly matter. He just had to keep up the conversation for a little while longer, and the time would be right.
Maybe he should go a bit further with her than a kiss, he thought, let her get even more carried away before he plunged the blade into her beating heart. No. He knew he must remain resolute. If he let himself fall for her charms, who knows where that might lead, and how vulnerable he might leave himself. He asked the obvious question:
"What kind of dancing do you do? Ballet? Salsa?" he asked, " or maybe pole?" He smiled. If only, he thought.
Lucia Eros - April 13, 2005 07:27 PM (GMT)
"Pole dancing is correct. Table dancing, lap dancing..."
She laughed softly and crossed her legs, fixing her gaze on him and never moved it away.
"And occasionally a bit of stripping."
She smirked then ran her tongue over the tips of her canines. She put both hands on her and flung her head gently back, sending the waves that hung in her face to moved back behind her shoulders with the rest.
"I find dancing rather enjoyable. Esspecially those types."
She giggled softly, then gave a soft sigh and smiled. She leant forward on the table, looking him straight in the eyes without even flinching.
Byrne - April 14, 2005 10:20 PM (GMT)
She's just about ready, thought Raymond.
"I enjoy a different kind of dancing," he said, fixing her with an implacable stare, robbing his words of their cliches, and adding a sense of mystery and power. "A more intimate, more sensual kind of dancing. It's a lot more fun than any other kind."
He stared deep into her eyes, and she stared into his, and he could feel the sexual electricity coming from Kali.
As he stared ever deeper, he thought he saw something different, a glimmer in the corner of her eye that wasn't the usual look of arousal or excitement. A sense of darkness, the darkest darkness that remains after a thousand candles are blown out. His pulse quickened, and his adrenaline flowed faster, but he was determined to carry out his plan.
"Would you like to come back to my place?" he asked.
Lucia Eros - April 16, 2005 01:42 PM (GMT)
"I'd love to come." Her eyelashes gave a gentle flutter as she blinked. When her eyes had quickly re-opened they held a rather noticeable glimmer of delight, like the look in a young child eyes when you buy them their most wanted toy for christmas. Her seductive beam remained upon her fair young features.
'He'd be lucky if we ever do get to his place', Was the one thought in her mind at that very moment. She gave a soft giggle as her deep chasms of blue, darkened. Maybe she could have some 'fun' with this one. Hopefully he'd be more entertaining than the rest of them, even if he was older than her usual victim. But she was unaware of Raymond's plans, though she feel slightly suspisious of him. But she tried to ignore that feeling. But, even if she did know of his plans for her would she be bothered very much? Or would the fact that he could possibley be planning to kill her excite her? She did enjoy a bit of a challenge every now and then. It seemed to arouse her. She bit down on her bottom lip, baring her pale neck slightly as her arms slowly slid off the table.
