Title: Late Night, Double Feature Picture Show...
Description: open to all

Mackey666 - January 16, 2005 06:27 PM (GMT)
Mackey had always enjoyed going to the movies. Even during the age of VHS and the rise of DVDs, he loved the element of a theater. The darkness led one to feel secluded, but oh so intimate with the characters of the chosen movie for the evening. The picture wasnt as good as a home entertainment center, but that was the point; Much like the music Mackey loved, it was the feel, not the quality of the recording or the speaker system.
It was always easy for Mackey to stay to the even more shadowy corners in a theater, but he chose not to tonight. Tonight was special.
He had been coming to see "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" often since its debut when he was a human. As a vampire his slightly-inhuman appearance and early punk attire seemed tame when compared to the flamboyant costumes the young and young at heart wore when coming to see this particular film.
Shuffling along with the rest of the crowd, Mackey loved the feeling of being this close to mortals. Even though he was still only a fledgling compared to some of the older vampires of the city, Mackey was pretty good at controlling his thirst. The drug dealer he fed upon earlier that night also helped.
Taking a seat in the middle of the fourth row, Mackey sat down and waited for the show- no the experience- to begin.

Ani arrived at the movie theatre soon after leaving the park, her eyes clear by now. She got a ticket to the first movie she saw. It turned out to be a horror movie, on she never heard of, but she loved horror films. She liked the aspect of being scared of things that aren't real. The movie was old, and before her time. Ani didn't realy care. She needed some entertainment. The only other movie was a sappy romance...she hated those...

She grabbed some popcorn and a soda and made her way into the theatre. There were a lot of people here. Not enough to fill up the whole theatre, but enough to make it comfortable. She walked down the steps looking for a seat amongst the numerous couples, Insomniacs, and the people who came to relax after a long week.

Ani finally found a seat in the fourth row. It was a somewhat empty row with a few people in it. She decided to take a seat near the end. She took off her coat and bag and laid them in the chair next to her. She sat a few seats down from a guy that looked about her age. The dark skinned girl silently ate her popcorn as the movie started. She had made it just in time.

Mackey laughed to himself at the human girl who didnt seem to realize what movie she was seeing. Perhaps the men in fishnets sitting a row behind her will tip her off... She is very beautiful though. he thought, tilting his head to the side like he always did when he was thinking hard about something. Maybe I should follow her home tonight, just to make sure some other thing that goes bump doesn't.
As the movie went on, Mackey, who knew all the lines and shout-outs, generally felt like he was alive again.
Maybe she's lost. Or hiding out. Hmm.

((OOC: lol, do you seriously not know what the rocky horror picture show is?))

Armani - January 19, 2005 12:13 AM (GMT)
((OOC: I do, but my char won't. I mean I've seen enough to know that it is not a horror show unless you’re scared of cross dressers and other weird thing-a-lings. lol))

'Oh my gosh!' she thought laughing. At first she thought the movie would be like any other movie she'd seen. Once they started to get deeper into the movie, her whole opinion changed...This movie wasn't what she had expected...at all. It was actually kinda sad and then funny at parts because of the bad recording, but she liked the movie. It wasn't a favorite, but she would definitely see it again. It was quite the movie...

Ani continued to watch the movie; half in shock that she was still watching it and half not wanting to miss the rest. When the movie was over, she gave a long sigh, shaking her head. Maybe this night wouldn't be as bad as she thought it was. It was about 10 or 11 (couldn't tell cause her watch was always wrong for some reason).

She got up and started to leave with the rest of the crowd. They all seemed hyped after the movie. (Unknownst to her, she had dropped something.)

'Was I the only one that was surprised?' She sure hoped not-but hey-there was a first for everything. She began that long walk home...knowing she'd need to get atleast a few hours of sleep before she started to study for her exams...She looked up as it was pitch black outside except for a cresent moon. She kinda felt like...she didn't want to go home though...now she couldn't.

'Where are my keys...?' she thought as she fumbled around in her coat pockets and bag, standing near the entrance to the theatre.

'Bound to happen...just my crappy luck...*sigh*'

Mackey666 - January 20, 2005 12:16 AM (GMT)
Mackey watched as this girl he'd become so taken with left her keys behind as she left. Still sitting down, his feet up on the seat in front of him in a lazy manner, he thought.
Maybe I should take those back to her. And possibly walk her home. And possibly...
He put the thought out of his mind, for now, and, quickly hopped the rows of seats to where the girl's keys lay lost beneath the seat she had left. Scooping them up and following the girl in one swift motion, Mackey caught her before she could reach the door.
"Hey, you might be needing these," He said, twirling the keys on their ring around his index finger, "you dropped 'em on the way out."
In speaking to this seemingly normal girl, Mackey realized that he may have to tone down his appearance every so often, for just such a situation. Plaid pants, spikes, combat boots, and white muscleshirts may be fun, but they can be a bit shocking and give people the wrong impression. He ran his free left hand through his spiky hair, a habit he'd kept from his human life.

My savoir...thought Ani when she was met by the guy she had been sitting by. She raised a brow at his "style", but didn't seem the bit phased by it. Worser things have came into the place she worked at...But from what her gray eyes saw, there was something...well, unusual about him. She couldn't quite put her finger on it though.

She smiled, saying, "You're right. I was just looking for them." She took them back, slipping them into her coat pocket. "You have quite the keen eye." Usually someone would have accused the finder of stealing, but he seemed nice enough. Though this was an everyday thing with Ani. She swears she would forget her life if she wasn't living it...

"Hey, did you like the movie?" she asked, pulling a stray strand of hair behind her ear. She really didn't want to go home. That meant she had to work again. Plus, this guy seemed interesting...

Mackey666 - January 21, 2005 02:18 AM (GMT)
"Loved it, just like everytime I've seen it." Mackey tilted his head a bit, and smiled seductivly at this lovely, young mortal girl, "What about you, did you have a good time? Doesn't seem like it'd be up your alley, but then again looks can be decieving..." His eyes flashed as his smile grew, showing a few white teeth between slightly red lips.

Oh, such a sweet one. They never can tell, can they? She's too sweet, too innocent. She'll live to see tomorrow, and the day after that. Here I am playin' the fuckin guardian angel to this girl, who looks way too much like she should be the angel... I'm a goddamn hopless romantic...

((OOC: Sorry I haven't bee here....I've been out of town...))

"Yea, you're right. The movie was far from what I expected. I'll definitely be watching it again though..." said Ani. She tried to hide a blush, as she noticed him flirting so much. She used to the attention, since she found herself running from relationship to relationship.

As she gazed up at him she noticed that he had quite the smile, seduction and all. She had been a sucker for those kind of smiles...and it was going to get her into a real mess one of these days...but hey it was night time. She was drawn to this guy because of his choice to be different. She liked that....

'Wow...I really should start to get back...' she thought as she looked out the glass doors to the entrance of the theatre. Pitch black outside now, save the moon.

"Walk with me..." said Ani, unconsciously. When she reallized what she said...it was out already...

Mackey666 - January 28, 2005 12:04 AM (GMT)
Read my mind, sweetie...

"Sure, I was just about to offer, myself." He quickly replied, somewhat off guard. Another glance at her, up and down.

Nope, not going to kill this one. This spring fawn, so beautiful. Been reading too much poetry again, dammit. Maybe I could... No put that out of your mind, she might be a virgin, and you are NOT taking a human's innocence...

"By the way, name's Mackey. What's yours?" he tilted his head to the other side, his eyes looking big and innocent.

Armani - February 3, 2005 10:36 PM (GMT)
Mackey...that's different, thought Ani, they started walking. She still couldn't believe what she had just done. She barely knew the guy and was walking and talking with him... Well...as far as I'm conserned I need a change.

"...It's Armani..." she replied. What surprised her the most, was the fact that he agreed to go with her. Was she ever so fascinating? "but just call me Ani...if you want."

Ani gazed up as him as they left the emptying theatre. Hmmm...what is he after? Guys just don't do random acts of kindness for nothing...most anyways-unless they want something. I can already tell what a huge flirt he is; his eyes tell it all. she thought, putting her hands in her deep pockets. Though I am kind of showing interest...I'd be crazy not to.

Ani remembered bow he had been inspecting her earlier, like she was a delicious treat. That's why she had been so absent minded.. She had felt so...naked and intimidated. Surprisingly, that didn't bother her one bit...she seemed shy, but she was the master of "cat and mouse." A smile slipped onto to her luscious, glossed lips.

"You know...I don't think I've seen you around her before, Mackey..."started Ani. It was starting to snow again. Her apartment only 3 blocks away.

Mackey666 - March 5, 2005 03:54 PM (GMT)
Ani... Short and sweet. Very well...

"I'm actually new in town, Ani. Maybe you could show me around sometime, another time. We really should be going, that snow doesn't seem to be slowing any." Another sweet smile. Unthreatening.

Mackey motioned for her to lead the way into the falling snow, still entranced by this lucious, young girl. The blood pulsing through her neck was almost erotic.

Is this a dagger I see before me?

Armani - March 5, 2005 08:52 PM (GMT)
"Very true...I'd hate to get sick this late in the year...and maybe when it's a bit warmer out I'll show you around," she smiled at him.

Ani felt the first flake of snow, fall onto her nose. It was cold, but soothing all the same. She couldn't remember the last time she got to enjoy the snow like this. She was always off, in a hurry somewhere.

"Even though it's a bit cool now, my favorite thing about this city is the weather...especially when it snow's. It snows a little, but stays long enough to douse everything in white. Almost like a winter wonderland..." she said, half to herself. She pulled the tie out of her hair and let it flow freely to cover her ears. 'Rambling on, that I am,' thought Ani as they strode on.

She glanced over at Mackey, "Sorry if I go on and on about nothing. It just helps you to forget about how cold it is. We're almost there anyway." She could see the tall building she called home from where she was.
