Rin pulled back the door to the telephone booth, a harsh wind kissed with snow blew against her and she pulled her coat around her to keep some warmth in. She held a torn out peice of paper from the phone booth, a highlighted address could barely be seen as she clutched it to her side.

She walked past diners, cold streets and bums near burning barrels searching. Finally she came to her destination. She wasn't sure if anyone was home, but it looked as though it hadn't changed much since she had last seen it. It was her sisters home ... or more like her abusive fathers. Rin hoped maybe she could see tsuki here ... maybe her father was gone and she lived alone. Rin didn't know what had happened since she had left. She looked around, raising a fist to knock on the door.

Tsuki yawned slighlty. her father was still in jail meaning she had the hosue to her self. she had a christmas tree up for the holidays and other various things. standign up she went to go cheek and see if the newspaper was there. openign the door she felt somethign nock on her head. "ow.. hey wha't sthe big id..ea... Rin?" Tsuki looked at her sisster. eyes wide. "what.. it's cold out there you shouldn't be out in the cold" she scullded. pulling her sister in side she looked over her worridly

Rin laughed softly, 'You treat me as though I was still human ...' She paused and looked at Tsuki's head. 'Uhm ... sorry about that ...' She looked around quietly, her gaze lingering on the chistmas tree. 'When will your father return?' There was something she had been meaning to ask but she kept it away. She took a few steps in looking around the smiled.

'I just realized ... you haven't said hello ... and I haven't gotten a hug. So ....' She turned and gave her sister a big hug. 'HIIIIII!'

Tsuki smileld soflty "it ok" she said. walkign behind her she tilted her headin thought "um... first of the new year i think" TSuki said. she laughed soflty at the hug her eyes shimmering sfolty. "hey.. good to see you too:"

Rin looked to her slowly, her expression serious. 'Tsuki ... I don't want you around here when he comes back ...' She pulled away and looked around. 'I was hoping ... if maybe you want to come live with me ...' She smiled as her gaze returned to her. 'I got a new loft, Ty is living with me now ... and I just want to know you'll be safe.'

She paused and combed some hair from her face. 'Thats why I came ...'

TSuki looked at Rin silenlty. half shocked half happy. after awhile she smilled "i'd lvoe too... but.. come on.. coco?" Tsuki offere.d wlaking into the kitchen she hummed oflty as she began to make coco

Rin quirked a brow, 'I guess ...' She wasn't sure if she could down anything meant for humans now but she would try. She sat and watched her quietly, she knew she wouldn't get an answer right away, it would have been a shock if she had. She wanted Tsuki to think about this choice.

She smiled as she smelt the cocoa and looked at Tsuki. 'I don't remember the last time I had this.'

TSuki hummed a sfot chritsmas charol. sitting down she handed RIn a cup and drank her own. she smilled soflty as the hot liquid ran donwn her throat "so.. were's the lot?" Tsuki asked soflty

Rin listened to her and smiled. 'It's near Westminstral park ... far away from the other one ... I like the neighbor hood.' She looked quietly into the milky browness and sipped lightly jumping upon the feel of warm liquid hitting her cold tongue. 'mmm not bad ...' She looked up to Tsuki. 'Did Ty ever tell you why he was staying with me?'

TSuki nodded her head. looking up she shook her head "no.... not that i know of" she said a smile on her face. her head tilted slightly in though

Rin gave a thoughtful sound and set her cup down. 'Well I wanted him to tell you this ... but he was kicked out of his home, he has no way of earning money and when I found him he was sleeping on a park bench.' She pulled her coat around her and looked to Tsuki. 'Thats when I asked him to stay with me ... at least until he could get back on his feet.'

She watched Tsuki, studying her expression and sighed.

Tsuki listened. her eyes widenign. she looked down at her drink slightly trembling "then.. why.. why didn'..he didn't know were we were.... shit" Tsuki cursed under her breath. looking up she said "thanks.. for telling me.. i'd be happy to come live with you guys"

Her eyes widened slightly when Tsuki cursed and she could remember a time before which she had done such a thing. 'is there something wrong?' She smiled as Tsuki agreed but she still wanted to know.

Tsuki blinked. her eyes widened slighlty as she covered her mouth. " da... i mena..erg.. i'm spenidng too much time with that idiot" she finally grummbled. sighing she leaned back in her chair rubbing her forehead in slight irritation

Rin's brow furrowed. 'really ...? hmm I'm terribly confused but to me it doesn't sound that bad.' She smiled. 'He loves you so much ... it shows like a beacon. Trust me I've been blinded a few times.' She looked down at her hot cocoa, alittle nausiated already but took another sip anyways.

"not that idiot" Tsuki said waving her hand "you don't have to drink it if you don't want too" TSuki said lookign at the coco then her sister. a small smile playing on her lips. her eyes shimmering soflyt

She smiled back shaking her head slightly and placing the cocoa beside her once again. 'So tell me where have you been for so long? You know it's not right to leave without taking me along.' her smile broadened and she gave a wink.

Tsuki chuckled soflty eyes shimmering in amusement. her elbows reasting on the table as her fingers were laced togethr hodlign up her head. "well.... i went to americe.... i traveled awhile... went too new york finally got my father arrested there and now he'll be released on the first of the new year" Tsuki said slighlty mad at her father being released. all these years and finally getting him in jail only to have him thrown back out on the streets

Rin paused and looked to her sister. 'Tsuki ... you said the first right? What day is it?' There was a hint of panic in her voice as she watched Tsuki. 'Tsuki ...' her voice came soft with so much seriousness it scared even her. 'If he ever comes to hurt you again I can't garantee I'll be gentle with him. In fact I can't garantee he will be living by the time I'm done with him.'

Rin paused and looked to her sister. 'Tsuki ... you said the first right? What day is it?' There was a hint of panic in her voice as she watched Tsuki. 'Tsuki ...' her voice came soft with so much seriousness it scared even her. 'If he ever comes to hurt you again I can't garantee I'll be gentle with him. In fact I can't garantee he will be living by the time I'm done with him.'

TSuki blinked. looking towards the calender she said "uh... it's the..." her eyes widened. "can.. we go now.. please.." she said. her voice slighlty shaky. standign up she grabbed rin. hearing the door handle shake slightly she steped abck. turnign she walked swiflty out the back door. her hand still holding RIn's wrist, her own strength stronger then before so it wasn't a problem holdign the other unless she really struggled.

Rin struggled to keep up tripping over random things on the floor. Once out she dug her feet into the ground. 'Tsuki ... we won't get anywhere just walking.' Without so much as another word she grabbed a hold and thrusted off from the ground.

There was a sudden blast of cold air, burning on flesh, followed by the sudden thud of Rin's boots on the roof top. Rin put Tsuki down, knowing she couldn't very well carry her all the way, and extended her hand. 'There are a few more rooftops before I know we can be safe ... I won't let you fall.'

TSuki blinked. a small eep left her as they jumped to the roof. hearing her words she smilled. "i know a safe place too" she said. smillign she turned and ran along the roof top. "come on" she said msilling over her shoudler. jumping she landed on the next roof top. her feet bare from being insde. her toes gripping the roof top as she ran swiflty and silenlty. the thuds of RIn behind her reasuring her that her sister was there. a smile came to her lips. when's the last time i ran roof top? she asked herself silently jumpign from roof top too roof top. her hair flying behind her sielntly makking her look almost phantom like in her clothes.

Rin was surprised ... she had to admit it. Most humans would have clinged to her for dear life and paniced upon looking over the edge. Rin followed, her coat flapping wildly behind her as she ran, her hair had been pulled back so all she could feel was her whispy strands scratching her neck. Finally upon knowing they where a good distance from her father, she leapt in front stopping a good distance from Tsuki so she wouldn't get plowed into.

'Where is this safe place?' She asked, her voice calm as though she had taken merely two steps.

TSuki ran swfilty. when she saw her sister jump infront of her she stopped a good distance away from her. hearing her words she siad "hm... oh it's near the park... inbetween the old statues... he doesn't dare go there... it's were i go to practice he knows better then to go there... last time he did he almost lost an arm... or two" her voice calmn and sliglhtly normal. her chest rising and falling slighlty fater but nothing that didn't clamn down easy enough to normal breathing

She gave an abrupt nod and looked around, 'I think we should go to my home first. It's warm for one thing, out here you could get sick, and your father wouldn't know where you were ...' She smiled. 'Maybe we can walk instead of leaping ... or catch a cab ... it would be much easier on you.' She tilted her head to the side. 'So whatcha think?'

"hmm... i don';t mind.. it's been awhiel since i jumped roofs.. i missed it" TSuki said. smilling she walked over to the edge. lookign towards her sister she stepped back fallign to the ground. landing on all fours she stood up and looked up at her sister "come on... let's taxi:

Rin's brow quirked as she watched her sister. Something was missing. Quickly Rin followed and took Tsuki by the arm. 'Tsuki is there something you want to tell me ... you seem different.' She knew most mortals couldn't jump rooftops easily, and knew even more about how they had trouble leaping from great hights. Her eyes were pale as she watched Tsuki's eyes.

TSuki hummed soflty a small smiel on her lips. fealling somethign grab her she looked over her shoudler too see rin. hearing her words she tilted her head to the side and thought it ov er "no... i seem different?.. oh you mean the whole roof top jumping thing ?... i use to do that ever since i was a kid.. i'd sneak out my window climb the tree and run from my dad... he always hated it but usualyy forgot about it the next night... and i use to be in gymnastics before my mom died.." she said smilling at her sister. she looked into her sisters eyes. only truth and a little confusion shimmered in her eyes

Rin's brow stay quirked. 'Wow.' was all she could think to say. 'I wish I knew that earlier.' She smiled and put a hand in Tsuki's hair disheveling it as she shook her hand. 'Bah I don't get you ... come on goofball.' She smiled and tagged her lightly on the arm before racing down the sidewalk. Meanwhile she looked for taxi's ready to call out to one if one was seen.

Tsuki smilled and giggled soflty as she followed. her eyes shimmering soflty as she ran swiflty with her sister. her hair flowing behind her soflty like cape of sorts. her eyes shimmering soflty as did so.

Rin laughed looking behind her to Tsuki. 'Catch up mustard.' She looked back in front of her, seeing a taxi pull are the corner and she raised her hand to stop it.

The Taxi drove up and Rin stopped pulling open the door waiting for Tsuki, a big smile on her lips.
