Title: Fall T-shirts
Stephen - May 7, 2004 01:27 PM (GMT)
No pics of the shirts on Action Records site.
Any idea what these actually look like?
Martin - May 7, 2004 01:29 PM (GMT)
Someone asked this before, but no-one answered. Reckon you just have to by product unseen. Like buying a Fall record, really. and if you don't like it, it'll make a great tea towel, or a pillow case, or even a huge handkerchief.
Big Neil - May 7, 2004 02:21 PM (GMT)
Are these the same ones that were sold at the gigs earlier this year? If so the only one I can remember was 2g+2 which was basically the album cover on a black t-shirt - looked really good though....
Supergrass were selling tea towels for their Life on Other Planets Tour... they were well cool...

The one with a small logo has The Fall on Dice/computer keys in white on black T-shirt, printed over the left breast.
About the length of my middle finger, so it's not a loud design, which is just what I wanted.
Also, I ordered the extra smallest size and it's perfect. Verysmall :D
`
There's also one I saw at the gig, of the UK Real New Fall LP, printed on black - a bigger design.
`
Oh, and it's your bog-standard printer's Fruit Of The Loom T-shirt alright quality, which is only expected at that price.
The one I got is good

rnflp is black with UK album cover on front country on the click printed above and the fall below or vice versa. Its cool, good quality cotton made in honduras which is cool too. They have kiddies sizes too.

Gotta "Kimble" shirt at the gig. Wanted XL, but they were out, so got a LRG instead. Next day, a guy on eBay said that he accidentally got an XL, so I bought it for $10. Now the wife, who's a Fall fan too, has the LRG one. Worked out perfect!

I gave Snappy Snaps a scanned Sparta fc cd cover and a grey t shirt cost fiver, looks great,
lack of t shirt stalls at the gigs this year, didn't see one at the forum or brighton anyway.

A business opportunity looms for someone, and it could be someone from Salford.

Hey, KWD, let me get this right, you're after more Fall T-shirts that shrink right after washing them?
Are you a midget or something?
No offence to little people intended-ah.

I got a Kimble one from Punkrockshop and it's grown down to my knees.
I've also got a 2G+2 one from Action which is better quality and hugs my beer tits quite nicely!

I could have sworn you were wearing a bra....

I find the Fall shirt gives me more uplift and reduces the backache.
And I like the nipple protrusion through the shirt. :P

I just sent Clayts a picture of my friend Rich wearing a tatty old Ghost in My House t-shirt for the 'mysterious Fall project'....don't see many of those around these days.
I used to have an Extricate one but it dropped to bits. Now I only have a plain black one with a nice discreet 'The Fall' over the left beer breast (thanks for that lovely term Smudger!) and a white shirt (proper...buttons and sleeves and everything) with hand-scrawled logo on it.

My favourite was the red Infotainment Scan one.
I lived in it for about a year and it just died in the end.

I've still got mine, in surprisingly good nick as it goes. I think it's cos I lent it to my girlfriend for years, and she was too ashamed to ever actually wear it.

I'm going to get one just so dozens of people can ask me "Whozzat?" every single day, because I like answering the same question over and over and over.

Scanlon seemed to use one quite a lot on Behind the Counter.
At least it isn't one of those double-necked ones!

Ahhh I am making my t-shirt for the 'mysterious Fall project' today (have wanted to for a while, but this project has proved to be a perfect excuse) but I can't decide what to put on it. Decisions decisions.
