It is being released on Action Records, independently of the forthcoming album which will be on Domino. Basically, Mark wanted to put out a tour single so that there was something new to let people hear, so this special arrangement was made.

Gordon from Action Records says the CD single should be available by the weekend, but there's been a problem with the vinyl pressing, so the 7" could be a couple of weeks away.

"Higgle-dy Piggle-dy" is the best studio recording made by the TLC's. It is amazing.

I wouldn't get too bothered about Action/Domino. It seems pretty clear in Conway's info. All it takes is a cut of the cut, and I wouldn't be surprised if such an arrangement was in the original contract.

Also, the producer fracas may (unlikely) bode well for various single mixes. Domino did sign a top 40 act, after all....

I stand corrected, got confused there.

I'd imagine this tour was booked with a November album release in mind, but it's been pushed back for whatever reason, so MES brought the single out to avoid what happened on the IWS tour where the album wasn't released until after the tour had finished.

I'll have forgotten I ordered this in 20 minutes. It'll be a nice surprise to have it land on the mat.
