Title: Your Future Our Clutter
Description: Release news/various queries
IAMTHEPUCK - September 30, 2009 07:11 AM (GMT)
Why that's pretty soon?? (see: news page)
:o
I wonder, I wonder??
IAMTHEPUCK - September 30, 2009 07:13 AM (GMT)
Must be January-ish I would think.
flickeringlexicon - September 30, 2009 07:19 AM (GMT)
Why not split the difference and have a Cluttered (Protein) Christmas? :)
rainmaster - September 30, 2009 07:38 AM (GMT)
'I'm Not From Bury', 'Cowboy Gregori'? :o
Dodgy sleeve too.

junk-man - September 30, 2009 07:11 PM (GMT)
I'm hoping the January forecast was a deliberate red-herring so as to take the heat off and then be able to surprise us
SonofAlways - September 30, 2009 07:18 PM (GMT)
Once again: "early 2010" according to Domino. The company that will be releasing it.
Smith thought it would be out in June, so...
Mere Pseud. - September 30, 2009 10:04 PM (GMT)

Does the T-shirt hint at a Lionel Richie cover version? :o
exiledmanc - October 1, 2009 11:16 AM (GMT)
junk-man - October 1, 2009 03:51 PM (GMT)
I think it's the members of the Scottish Cabinet, being as it is, an article about devolution and Highlands Parliamentary reform

Is that drummer/producer Ross Orton behind The Eagle?
IAMTHEPUCK - October 2, 2009 12:48 AM (GMT)
A Lionel Richie appearance on the cover would actually pretty great. It might then be the best one since the screwed up (and great) ARE YOU ARE. I think that be my favourite of the 00's after Unutturable.

It looks like him, but I wasn't 100% sure.

The Eagle, Lionel Richie.
Not sure about the rest.
Buy Kurious! - October 2, 2009 11:54 AM (GMT)
If this is going to be the final title and I'm not entirely convinced it is, I was wondering what it means....
I mean, he's not saying "Our Future = Your Clutter" is he? Or "Our Future: Your Clutter".
I like it though. Doesn't sound like any other Fall album title.

It hasn't leaked yet(?), which may indicate the current state regarding final recording/mix/mastering ect...
Look for the leak. Not long after. Like the last two, I'll cop it, then buy it in at least two forms. Sucker.

I thought there were one or two more songs on the list than that?
SonofAlways - December 11, 2009 03:43 PM (GMT)
I'll bet whoever wrote that did so because of the mention in Mojo. From that it was assumed Mojo had a copy. But I don't think that is true.
You will be able to tell when copies circulate to the press because that's when it will leak.
At this point we don't even know who (if anyone) will be releasing it. Domino seems to have gone cold.

Do you say that because of the single coming out on Action or is there other info?

I don;t think anyone has suggested the next album will not be released on Domino. It's just idle speculation based on nothing at all. :P

Looks like it is a Wikipedia page created using all the knowledge of the new album that has been gleaned so far.
None of it looks confirmed in any way.
Songs played live that may be on the album...
Hardly a final running order.
Wasn't that page existing for a while now, anyway?

Never knew he was in Fat Truckers.
I liked one of their songs.
Ran out and bought the full length & ended up forgetting most of it, but the sounds were interesting.
Huh.

At this point I would be quite surprised if this came out on Domino.
The single released by Action...the rumors that there was some "unhappiness" with an early mix/version of the LP...nothing on the Domino schedule...
All just idle speculation based on nothing at all. Much like the rest of this forum!
I am looking forward to that new Archie Bronson Outfit LP though...
