Never seen them before or really listened to them and I was very impressed by 65daysofstatic. I think a little bit more light and shade would have worked better for me. That said, they bludgeoned me into willing submission. Noisy as fuck; short on tunes; high on power; fast, loud, and strangely mesmerising.

The drummer was outrageously fast and good - actually they all were.



Just read this on the band page of Last FM re this show:

"just seen 65daysofstatic live, and it's fucking phenomenal... for half an hour. Reckon they should play really short sets. It's a bit like being wanked off by someone with a death grip without achieving orgasm... feels fucking great, then a bit sore, then you wish they'd vary their grip or something. But yeah, brilliant for 30 minutes or thereabouts."
