Loads of weekend punks, two blokes in Fall T-shirts & me!

Actually I only went to this avent for Arthur Brown who was appearing on the Bizarre Bazaar stage, Jeez! the guy is 66 yrs old, I have seen him many times, but never as good as this - he was everywhere, Dancing, jumping and screaming at the top of his voice, it would have put most 20 yr olds to shame - the 'punks' loved it all - people clapping the bass player's solo at a punk gig? they should have lynched him :lol:

True, people did start to drift out towards the end but Arthur was on stage for an hour and a half and there were other delights on the two main stages no doubt.

Anyway, one of you buggers could've gotten in free if you'd taken up mine then later otherdave's offer.... I gave the ticket to a very happy young man at the door :nahnah:

I enjoyed his set too-last time I saw him was years ago. Knox from the Vibrators was standing next to me and thought he was brilliant. I was there for all 4 days- best bits were Killing Joke (awesome), TV Smith in the acoustic room, 999, Cute Lepers, Flogging Molly, The Beat, and finding a great real ale pub. The Bay City Rollers were fun too!

Ooh, and doesn't the backdrop look so right?! Bummer that I missed it, but one day...

Glad the punks liked him, I was wondering how they'd react, though I'm sure he knows how to keep 'em happy.

Getting better but still housebound with me valium (muscle relaxant)... me mum'd be so proud. :lol:

It's easing with no relapses (the thing I dread most as it means another week out of action), so I'm hoping to make it out at the weekend: I'll be the one energetically tapping my toes as I freak out to the crazed beats (so no change there). :D
