Monster Mash & Bobby Fuller song.
There will also be a "cover" of a Fall song, which won't really count.

IWS: 1 (official) cover version
RPTLC: 1
FHR: 2
TRNFLP: 1
AYAMW: 2
Which makes it 1,4 on average. Funnel of Love plus something very much "inspired" by an obscure song.

Yup. It's gonna be 'I Fought the Law'. Also means MES has a window to whine about ver Clash. "They ruined that song. I thought it needed rescuing. Art school boys, weren't they, all that lot?" etc etc.

Some people think Elves, a track from TWAFWOTF, released during the unsurpassed Brix Era of '83-'85, was in fact a cover of I Wanna Be Your Dog.

2 this time. But that's OK out of 14 tracks over 51 minutes and 48 seconds.

Something by Gryphon would be nice, not advisable, but nice.

Interesting, apparently you can't just post the number 1.
You have to write something.
Try it!

I would like The Fall to show the music and bands of the future the respect they deserve, and for them to cover a song that has not been recorded yet.

There's bound to be at least one.
And I hope it is better than the last one.
