I expect the first batch of Beggars remasters to arrive this summer with the new album album following in the autumn/fall because BB want to take advantage of the pre release publicity although obviously that's not comparable to last year's attention caused by the books and maybe the Mojo Award.

Of course it's more realistic that MES will somehow manage to throw a spanner in the works...

As Smith announced that he already had an album and a half ready before going officially into the studio, I suspect he was either babbling or referring to demos.

It would be nice to have some sort of Interimesque nonsense around August.

Beggers reissues, especially the good stuff recorded with Brix in '84 and '85.

I'm betting the next release will be the Hammersmith Palais DVD/CD combo.

I voted Palais. Can't imagine we'll see Beggars albums anytime soon, not if we keep celebrating Brix on the forum. ^_^

I don't know. I wouldn't be unhappy if the Beggars re-issues came first.
