Title: 01. UK release date
Conway - May 25, 2009 07:45 AM (GMT)
Please place any comments below.
Divvey - May 25, 2009 09:53 AM (GMT)
November, after stop start & aborted studio work, live sets with similar set list the new album will a rush job.(Christmas presents)
The songs will sound better after the album has been released on recordings captured by those nice Consortium boys.
the cover will be crap.
Two unlisted songs will be on it, the run order will be mostly right.
Two cover versions; one of which will be Monster Mash.
The other an obscure Bobby Fuller song.
Consequently the album will be called "and a- bout time to"
There will be no "digital" glitches but the use of the cassette recorder will be welcomed.
We will like it more than Fall Heads Roll but not as much as Unutterable.
Buy Kurious! - May 25, 2009 10:00 AM (GMT)
October.
Hopefully no later. :(
elvischomsky - May 25, 2009 03:06 PM (GMT)
The first week in October.
GraemeLovesPinkLady - May 25, 2009 05:40 PM (GMT)
It'll be available for pre-sale at the Academy gig in July.
otherdave - May 25, 2009 06:13 PM (GMT)
June 2010, after repeated lineup changes and a High Court injunction following claims that the whole thing's based on riffs from Superwombling.
rainmaster - May 25, 2009 06:42 PM (GMT)
Late September.
Unless you're a Yank, then it's early October. -_-
Or you could get it off one of those dodgy Russian download sites by August 31.
For £1.85. :D
mjungblu - May 26, 2009 05:16 PM (GMT)
all in time, so september
Neal Cassady - May 27, 2009 10:36 PM (GMT)
November. 5th. Includes re-make Bon-firey Jack  :ohdear:
Anyway, November... sadly :(
Exopsychicton - May 29, 2009 08:48 PM (GMT)
Late August leak, November release.
Drjohnrock - June 1, 2009 12:42 AM (GMT)
At this point, the UK release date is anyone's guess. But it seems like the album releases were more frequent during the Golden Fall Era of '83-'85 during which Brix played such a crucial part.

Conway - June 2, 2009 10:45 AM (GMT)
I'm picking 9 November 2009.

as I said, without your inside knowledge.

MOD-MOCK-GOTH - June 6, 2009 04:29 PM (GMT)
it would be great if Brix was on the new album
lavendercat06 - June 7, 2009 02:02 AM (GMT)

October, because that's a big month for fall releases, and Domino seem like they'd play according to industry rules.
josef - June 21, 2009 07:01 AM (GMT)
Chip Priest - June 21, 2009 08:23 AM (GMT)
I guess that the recent studio sessions have not gone well, they haven't got any songs and it will take until 1/3 way through 2010.
RepoMan - July 8, 2009 06:08 PM (GMT)
Not really fussed about the date, just hope there is one coming.
Buy Kurious! - July 11, 2009 02:18 PM (GMT)
I was thinking that the fact they're doing a gig in London in November means they're probably planning on an October release -- ie, the tour will follow the release (?).

| November 9th I reckon. |
This is highly unlikely, so I'll retract. my new guess is now 15th February 2010.
matheusvdd - August 30, 2009 04:42 AM (GMT)
It's so depressing.

oh, really end of august now - and it seems that the september will belong to the four lads...
second vote would be anytime in 2010.

Whats the odds of an announcement of the release date next week?
mjungblu - September 10, 2009 08:26 PM (GMT)
after the revitalisation of the four lads we are calming down for a few days,
chance for a sign of the new album will be 40/60 if I understand you correctly... B)

1:1 I'd say.
josef - September 18, 2009 12:02 PM (GMT)
Over half way through September and still didely squat mention of a release date. Next year is now looking very likely.

Remember where you heard
it first.
What do I win?
SonofAlways - September 18, 2009 06:23 PM (GMT)
I received word from Domino last week that it would not be released until "early 2010."
I'm not making this up. Just passing along a Twitter response to my inquiry.
flickeringlexicon - September 18, 2009 06:27 PM (GMT)
Do you think it will be new material? Or just something along the lines of: "Shake-Out!: The Best Of The Nagle Years"?
Chip Priest - September 19, 2009 07:33 AM (GMT)
I don't think we''ll see it in our life time.
josef - September 19, 2009 12:53 PM (GMT)
I love this "guess the release date" stuff. Mark says to B92 "a deadline for January", but fails to mention which January.

I'm thinking the latter is rather likely. Either that or "Rehearsals Culled From Cheap Cassette: The Best Of The Johnnie Brown Weeks."
ocelot - September 25, 2009 09:40 PM (GMT)
Anyone betting on "Our Future - Your Clutter" (loving that title) for a November release?
Neal Cassady - September 30, 2009 11:33 PM (GMT)
I thought November at the start - will happily wait until next year if they change the LP title from "Our Future - Your Clutter", to something less, erm, well, crap.
