November, after stop start & aborted studio work, live sets with similar set list the new album will a rush job.(Christmas presents)
The songs will sound better after the album has been released on recordings captured by those nice Consortium boys.

the cover will be crap.

Two unlisted songs will be on it, the run order will be mostly right.
Two cover versions; one of which will be Monster Mash.
The other an obscure Bobby Fuller song.

Consequently the album will be called "and a- bout time to"

There will be no "digital" glitches but the use of the cassette recorder will be welcomed.

We will like it more than Fall Heads Roll but not as much as Unutterable.

At this point, the UK release date is anyone's guess. But it seems like the album releases were more frequent during the Golden Fall Era of '83-'85 during which Brix played such a crucial part.

October, because that's a big month for fall releases, and Domino seem like they'd play according to industry rules.

I guess that the recent studio sessions have not gone well, they haven't got any songs and it will take until 1/3 way through 2010.

Not really fussed about the date, just hope there is one coming.

I was thinking that the fact they're doing a gig in London in November means they're probably planning on an October release -- ie, the tour will follow the release (?). :unsure:

after the revitalisation of the four lads we are calming down for a few days,

I received word from Domino last week that it would not be released until "early 2010."

I love this "guess the release date" stuff. Mark says to B92 "a deadline for January", but fails to mention which January.

I'm thinking the latter is rather likely. Either that or "Rehearsals Culled From Cheap Cassette: The Best Of The Johnnie Brown Weeks."
