Thank you very very much, ..., I'm greatly enjoying this. I owe all concerned many many pints
Fallsound, STSR & Sparta especially are very strong & I've not even heard it all yet.
I'm really looking farward to the rest & yjose sitting next to me in the library are, I feel, wondering why I'm quite so happy in mt bounce
I should purchase a lead splitter fingy
Thanks again

Cor! Thanks Mr Hanley and friends.
SimonC - May 15, 2009 08:26 PM (GMT)
Thanks Hanley…
I’ve already got everything here but it’s an ace comp…
That version of Mountain Energei may well be the greatest live recording of the Fall ever…or this decade anyway…I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve listened to that gig.
God, how I miss Orpheo…well, all of them really….

This is just fucking wonderful. I had plans tonight, but instead I'm more than half way down my Shiraz and I'm fit for nowt other than listening to this.
All new to me except the Bilston gig (50yo). Agree totally with SimonC about Mountain Energei, and that is one hell of a Blindness as well. Saw the Americans four or five times. They were something.
I was at Elland Road last night so I really needed cheering up. What a difference a day makes.
Many many thanks.

I'm not the biggest admirer of RPTLC, but the yanbks were a phenomenal live act, & it's nice to be reminded of that.
Strange how good MES sounds playing with people he ostensibly hates: well drilled professional musos, with a thorough grounding in the history of alt rock. Or are they all miners by day when they're in LA?

Errr...HELP !
Having one of those computer illiterate moments.
I've a mac how do I download them?
I keep getting gobbledygeek text files.
Thanks for putting these up.
The consortium highlights has to be the fall live at their best .
I'm still hoping Sir Fender will make a compilation of all his versions of systematic abuse.
mjungblu - May 16, 2009 07:15 PM (GMT)
pretty good choice - thanks for making this comp.
re: the text files on a mac:
you should go and rename all files.
just delete ".txt", confirm the change into ".m4a".
Then all tracks are fine for i Tunes.

mjungblu - May 16, 2009 07:34 PM (GMT)
you are welcome!
it is safari which adds the .txt endings.
on a mac - go for Camino or maybe Firefox. The result would be a proper .m4a ending.
Mopiranger - May 17, 2009 06:52 AM (GMT)
thanks for the compilation!
friendly_visitor - May 17, 2009 08:37 AM (GMT)
Got it too. Many thanks Mr. Hanley!
Basmikel - May 17, 2009 09:21 AM (GMT)
This would be my favorite Fall live album since 27 Points at least. You're not wrong about Mountain Energei.
petehine - May 17, 2009 10:15 AM (GMT)
Downloading it now. Nice! Thanks Mr Hanley. Much appreciated.
