I fully agree with forum member dj hollerbusch here. Fantastic show. The Pink Monkey Birds are awesome. Played 'Sex Beat' (Gun Club) and a Cramps, let's say, medley ('I'm Cramped' seguing into 'For the Love of Ivy'). High point IMHO...a fantastic rendition of 'Una historia de amour' (sic), which some of you will remember from the Snub video. Got to have a little chat with Kid after the show, he clearly remembers being in the Hit the North video and even tried to re-enact his part for the bystanding punters. What a character.
Trivia: Kid Congo likes Tannenzäpfle Bier. Kid Congo is a great dancer and all-round nice guy (joined punters after the show).
Awe-inspiring.
