Not only was he a good manager but with the benifit of hindsight he's also the type of guy used to big clubs with cash to spend.

I have not understood football since they changed the leagues. Division 1 (is it league 1?) sounds good, until you learn that it's actually div 3, and only a couple of divs obove Gainsborough Trinity. It's like evrybody can be in the first division, only we'll call it different things. Bloody daft.
