I don't like the Fallnet - there are no forum sections: Fall-related topics and general chat get all mixed up and they have no polls.

They don't know smilies and avatars, and most of the people post under their real names. I think we're vastly superior here. :)

Otherwise why bother having a second website, there are very good specialist websites now for Gig guide/history, Drambuie gig-download and the Pseud mag online, it hardly seems worth bothering.

There seems to be some confusion about who or what Fallnet is.

Fallnet's an email discussion list, not a website. It's been running since 1991 or '92 and has been on Yahoogroups for the past several years. The Lyrics parade, Fall news, and gigography were mid-1990s offshoots of the email list. Originally those three resources were on different servers but we (Jeff Curtis, Richard Kidd and I) joined forces as "the official Fall website" in 1997.

I rely on the Forum for all my Fall news!!
