2 = Crime

3 = the original Raincoats line-up, complete with sexist male pig drummer. Do I get bonus points for identifying him as Ross Crichton? And that this pic is taken from a Zig Zag article?!

8 - is this Blast Furnace aka Charles Shaar Murray?

10 - is this Lone Groover-related? It certainly looks like Tony Benyon's style.

Fritter - July 22, 2008 05:30 PM (GMT)
No.5 - XTC?

No.4 - Nils Lofgren (L) ?

No.7 - This Heat and Camberwell Now (wyld guess)

San Quentin, to be precise. Check them out!

Hopefully Target will rerelease it on DVD one day.... and Revenant might also get round to releasing their promised Crime box set.

Oops, you're quite right. Ross Crichton wrote the actual Zig Zag piece. (God, the shit I've got rattling around inside my brain!) Dudanski was previously in the 101ers and also played on most of Metal Box, before going on to be in Basement 5. What a cv!

Fuck!!!!

I'd like to pretend that this reflects my encyclopedic knowledge of reggae but he was literally the only rather portly reggae artist my memory banks could dredge up from that era.

Excuse me but my answer on the previous page seems to be have been overlooked. In addition there is one solo performer, a member of neither band, blind Frankie Armstrong that's who.

Although Inner Circle were quite commercial ... the early Jacob Miller stuff - recorded with Augustus Pablo when JM was only 14 is truly mind-bogglingly excellent stuff. He does the original Baby I Love You So and Keep On Knocking for starters.

Have an extra bonus point for being ignored so brutally .... sorry bout that :)
If you did all the members - I would be obliged... and you would get 10 bonus points.

The "vibe" of that pic also reminds me of the one on the back of Mark Perry's, er, brave cover of The Whole World's Down On Me............ or am I thinking of The Force is Blind? One of those, anyway!
