Lets say the all powerful Flying Spaghetti Monster descended to Earth and decided to punish you for not believing in him good enough. But, you get to choose your punishment. Either you have to give up The Fall (old and new) forever (including any MES solo, MES/Blaney, Van Suderfeds, etc.) or you have to give up beer and wine and cider forever (but not hard liquor or malt bevs like ZIMA). Which punishment would you choose?

A difficult one, but there's always vodka during daylight hours, then whisky in the evening.

A bit af an aquired taste admittedly, but I've grown to love it. A traditional Norwegian drink that's particularly popular with christmas meals. Usually spiced with caraway, dill, anise and coriander.

This is the rolls royce of aquavits IMO, 'Gammel Opland'. Quite a dominant vanilla taste compared to a lot of other brands. I've downed a few of these in my time... :wacko:

Popular in Sweden and Denmark as well, there are a few different recipes. I would normally choose Aalborg Jubilaeums Akvavit or Skåne Akvavit... but I have to admit I haven't tried many of the Norwegian ones. Yes, Løitens, I think.

Not voting, but I'm thinking that if I sit quietly for a bit I can remember any Fall musics and that's sometimes all it takes to make me feel excited about The Fall (or any music for that matter). Sad to say I don't get the same feeling just thinking about beer as my taste/drunken pleasure memory is not as vivid as my musical one.

You don't last long on a diet of vodka and whiskey, i tell yer. So it's beer for me.
