Title: Now we are Six
Description: Birthday boys

Aubrey The Cat - April 24, 2007 08:47 AM (GMT)
One good thing about having pedigree cats is that you know when their birthday is - especially good for people who use them as sort of child substitute and get them presents and stuff.

Then again, a bag of prawns is cheaper than a PS3.

This is them very young, a picture taken in their home town (note the exotic background). Gussie is the one with the black patches and Spike is the runt on the end who can't stand up.

And this is them now.

Another thing about pedigrees is weird relationships. Aubrey is three weeks older than Gussie and Spike (we forgot his birthday), and came from a different place; but they are his great uncles.

Not that that bothers him.

Mikey - the second story is Aubrey - especially "As soon as I enter the room I demand attention." Good stuff.

He'll sit in front of the TV or go to knock stuff off the mantlepiece if he doesn't get it, as well.

What absolutely gorgeous cats you have.

And as kittens, soooo cute.

Dont they grow up so fast though?!!!!

:o

We have a couple of twin tortoiseshells, both girls.

This is them at about six to eight weeks:

I love that one on top of the DVD player.

They do grow quickly; but I also think they're better when they're grown up. Kittens are cute but not much more; grown up cats have developed their personalities and are more interesting. But kittens are cute and that makes up for a lot. You'll look at that gap on top of the DVD and wonder how the hell they got in there.

Not a hope now !!

Smudge weighs a ton and would struggle even if we took out all of the equipment.

Yes, I wanted to delve inside the mind of a cat!

I'll read the others when I'm not so sleepy.

Off to bed. 'Night.
