Good title. He was a clever man, Jonathan King, whatever his other faults.
bradx - December 11, 2006 11:31 AM (GMT)
There's an 8 CD (8!!) set compilation of his oeuvre which I'd like to hear. I saw him on the telly recently.. he's gone mad i think. He's very crazed...writing nutty songs about injustice in his bedroom. He can't get his head round the fact that he was told to plead guilty at his trial (by his lawyer presumably).
zoot horn polo - December 11, 2006 11:40 AM (GMT)
I couldn't watch that. It had Michael Barrymore/Martin Bashir written all over it.

"4) Which artist-run label released what's considered to have been the first U. K.-issued cajun single, in 1972, as a super-rare 78 ? - Apple"
I was tempted to guess Apple, but didn't think they'd still be signing new acts in '72. But then I couldn't think which other artist-run label would possibly release a cajun single. Manticore? T Rex Wax Co?
bradx - December 11, 2006 10:26 PM (GMT)
 ...and who could possibly remember that Creole records used Little Plum in their logo? God, I need to stagger into the modern age soon i think.
