star trek 11 should mark the return of the legendary captain kirk, not as an action hero of course but as a brilliant tactitian.Captain Picard should also return for a last voyage as an admiral.
Furthermore i believe that the regular TNG cast should change a little bit.

Yes, you should register, if you already haven't. But, how could they have kirk? He's dead!

Also there is the problem with Picard not wanting to be an admirial. In Generations, if everyone remembers, while Kirk and Picard were together in the Nexus, Kirk said "Don't do anything that will get you off the bridge of that ship. Because while you're there, you can make a difference." I know the enitial converstion was about retirement but if picard were to become an admirial then he would be flying a computer consol and, to quote the great Dr. McCoy, "really grow old."
Just look at Admiral Janeway, instead of getting the assignments she is giving them. I doubt that Picard will want to do that. He will stay a captain as long as he can.
And I'v heard opinions that "It's Star Trek, they brought Spock back, they can bring Kirk back." I totally disagree with that. The only reason Spock was brought back was because he is an alien and it was a combination of "Genisis Planet" rejuvination and "Vulcan Mysticism." Kirk was human and in my opinion there is only one way to bring Kirk back and I believe that story was pitched as a possible movie and turned down:
Star Trek The Return by William Shatner in the story the Borg find the dead captain on Veridian III, take it and reanimate it using Borg nanoprobes. That, in my opinion is the only believable way to do it. I will say that it can be done with someone getting DNA from the remains of Kirk and making a "Kirk a-la Nemisis" but I think that would be stretching it a little bit.

Etheir way, it wouldn't be the kirk we knew. I do not think that picard would become an admiral either. He had the chance to be head of starfleet academy once, but he turned it down.
And Admiral Janeway? Since when? I know I saw her as an admiral on TNG once, but I don't know if she was playing the same person. If she did, she had to have been demoted.

Yes Janeway is admiral, haven't you seen Nemesis? She gave Picard orders...

Yes! That is were I saw her, not on the series. And yes, she was promoted to admiral. You'll have to forgive me, But I've been on a Star Trek drought for most of the last seven years, because we didn't have a dish, just two channels. But I have a dish now, and am watching religously. I haven't actually seen the end of voyager.
