I was just thinking - for a future trek series I think it would actually be good to see an entirely different, yet current day star trek universe.. Like set one in the universe of the Alliance, Terrans and such that was introduced in Deep Space Nine and took place in several episodes. It would be different to have a star trek series with all of our favourite aliens but in an entirely different context with No Federation and humans being the under dogs.
