After watching the Phantom Menance (again) some questions rose to the surface. I got the impression Padme is at least ten years older than Anakin in the movie. How did they seem to be closer age wise in Episode II - Attack of the Clones? Who were the other Jedi Masters aside from Yoda and Mace Windu on the Jedi Council? I saw the tall skinny neck alien in the Council next to Pointyhead (Whatever his name is). Isn't this skinny neck alien the same as the ones saw in AOTC? Darth Maul vanished down the shaft. Did he survive? Will he return to have his revenge against Obi-Wan?

Could Palpatine be Anakin's father?

The more I watched these movies the more I believe it was Luke, not Anakin, who would bring balance to the Force.

Who had experienced and wrote the prophecy Mace Windu and Qui-Gon spoke of? Are there any more to this prophecy?

Perhaps Anakin AND Luke bring balance to the Force.

Anakin represents the Dark and Luke the Light--yet in the end BOTH of them are needed to kill Palpatine (in Return of the Jedi).

Besides that you could never argue it was just one. For starters without the one the other would never have exsisted and be raised as he was. Everything builds on everything else. Things don't just happen.
