Im saying good...

It was a GREAT series, but it takes a hit, because TNN plays the episodes WAY TOO MUCH!!! (although Im not complaining, they just get sorta boring over and over again)

Well,again,as I've stated before in other topics,TNG was my introduction to Star Trek.Sure,as a kid I watched the TOS reruns and even caught a few of the animated episodes on saturday mornings (just before Sid & Marty Krofft's "Land of the Lost"),but I never really got into Trek with those shows the way TNG converted me into a dyed-in-the-wool fanatic.Maybe it was Denise Crosby's(who I was madly in love with at 15,and still am to some degree :wub:)character Tasha Yar that made me initially sit-up and take notice of this new Star Trek,but it wasn't long before I saw the great show going on around her.I'll admit,TNG had its faults,and much of the writing could have been(should have been)better.Still,there is a very good reason that TNG is the highest-rated Trek ever.The excellent cast deserves a lot of credit for this.I'll even say that that @#$!% Rick Berman is to a degree responsible for TNG's extraordinary appeal(there are still times,I suppose that even the devil must be given his due....though it pains me to praise Berman for anything) :angry: I watch the reruns on TNN(or is it Spike TV now?),as I cannot really afford the DVD seasons as a set,though I am saving to at least be able to buy the Voyager sets when they become available.In the end,TNG could've been worse! :rolleyes:

I voted very good, TNG was the trek I grow up with and so will always be the best for me. I do love all the others but, It is the best

i come from china,i never wached star trek series,except her film.i think star trek 4 and star trek 8 is best film.thank you everyone.

I haven't seen much of TNG either, I was too young when it started...

I rate TNG very good even though I have only seen up to the middle of season three. Very good entertainment.

It started off pretty good, It was new and very welcome but it definitly hit its peak around season six I think by ther seventh season the cast and the writers wanted to be somewere else B)

I have watched every single episode of TNG,it has always been my favorite.
The first season was not all that impressive but the series improved with season two.

season one like most series was tring to find its feet and as noted the later seasons it ran out of steam but as i said i got all 7 seasons on dvd watch all time over and over never thougt i would like them that much let alone buy on dvd used to be an origional series had most on tape remember watching them when i lived at home 7.30 on tuesday night eating my evening meal on my lap happy times with the whole family early 1980s
