I have always harbored a certain ammount of disdain for Ezri.Afterall,in my mind she is an unworthy usurper to Jadzia's position aboard DS9.This,of course,has nothing to do with Nicole DeBoar.She's done a brilliant job with the role,and is a truly fine actress(and a cute little thing,to boot).Still,the whiney fanboy down deep inside is bitter that Terry farrell left DS9 so near the end of the show. :angry: Maybe I should be mad at Farrell,after all it was she who wanted out of the role...but i can't bring myself to be mad at Jadzia.Over the years I just developed too strong a positive emotional attachment to the character.So I blame Ezri,wrongly.

She's my favorite character in DS9. She is just the best.

Jadzia was the best Dax. sure she was nice, but she was too cute and whiny. at least Jadzia was strong and sexy. but this is just my opinion.

Yeah, that's true. Ezri is my favorite, but in some thing I prefer Jadzia too.

i liked both daxes :D i still think seven on voyager is the best caracter ever :wub:

I am biased. I loved Jadzia and never really accepted Ezri.
I thought her charactor was rushed and underdeveloped and very contrived.

While I loved Jadzia's character, I still enjoyed Ezri as well.. I thought her reactions to being joined, without having the training behind it were very realistic. I also just loved the fact that even though Jadzia was dead she wasn't really dead because she was with Ezri (this is part of the Trills that fasincates me and im glad they continued that on by bringing Ezri in.. instead of just leaving "Dax" dead along with Jadzia)

What did Ezri do that made her good??? Please explain.

Uhh...basically she was young, hot, and something new to oggle over.

How original in a TV character.

What did she do that was bad?? I liked her transition in to the show.
Instead of the usual cool calm confident trill character you saw in Jadzia you had someone who was nervous, unsure of herself and still working towards understanding who she was after the joining, it showed a different side to trill's that Jadzia's character didn't show. It's not a matter of good or bad its about seeing diversity
