SOMEONE's been listening to a lot of Prince. Clever video as usual.

What was it?!

That is... I don't even know. WTF indeed. WTF happened to the good band who did songs like Get Over It and Don't Ask Me?

It was the new Vampire Weekend single. The video can be found at "official" outlets and I'd strongly recommend you see it.

Mm, I heard one of their new songs recently and have been shying away from watching the video. I don't like Prince. But I've got tickets to see OK Go in January, so hopefully they will go off him by then.

I quite like that after just seeing it. They didn't get off to the greatest start with me after they were poor supporting The Shins a while ago.

I don't like the new OK Go song though.

I had a video of The Cakes removed from YouTube once by a copyright claim from BMG. I gather it was because I mentioned the Manics in the description (around the release of the last album) so perhaps they were being a bit over the top and not actually checking what they were claiming copyright on. I didn't like it though as the e-mail was quite threatening!

A post script to this: I just saw this Vampire Weekend video posted on Pitchfork and... it's a bit good innit.

I can never decide whether or not I like Vampire Weekend. I got the first album in a 2-for-£10 deal but the only songs that really grabbed my attention were Oxford Comma and A-Punk... maybe I need to listen to it again.

I'm the only person that likes this song, aren't I? Sad face.
