Title: Random Music Recommendations

...because I've always got something I want to yell about, but can't be arsed to start a new topic every time.

So, today we have The Rad:

Reckon they'd appeal to some people on here. They're very much from the New Found Glory school of punk-power-pop and I like it a lot. The EP is downloadable for 'name your price' with a minimum of $3 which is less than 2 quid if I'm working it out right.

Oh, and this:

...which is lovely and free.

More later, I guess.

Needs more Weezer in here. The Green Album, specifically, since that's what I'm listening to right now. Am I the only one who thinks this was their last truly great album?

I think it was their last consistent record, although unlike a lot of their fans I think there's been a lot of good stuff since. I also think you can make one very good album by combining the best bits of the two Rivers Cuomo solo albums that he's put out recently...

I think my favourite new(ish) band is probably Baddies, give this a listen:

Top fun live too, saw them at Glastonbury and Reading this year.

Maybe, but I think it's their only truly great album! I do like the other old ones though, and some of the new stuff, apart from the red one which I haven't got around to listening to much...
