The day after the last gig at the Louisiana, we were at Damian's flat talking about a whole load of musical delights. Someone mentioned a band, compared them to Silver Sun, with an added mention of something about fairground music. I've got it in my head that it was Cardiacs, but I've listened to them and I suspect it probably wasn't them.

Any ideas?

I don't remember, but Damian does talk about the Cardiacs a lot, and Dan says that they do sometimes sound like fairground music.

Phew, the Louisiana was HOT. I'm just remembering how our Vaselines melted into new shapes.

Probably was Cardiacs, but I wouldn't be comparing them to Silver Sun for one minute.

I've love for them to play in Bristol again and wouldn't mind at some point in the future seeing if people (musicians and fans) are up for it. I'd like to make up also for the fact that I was worse for wear the next day and was a rubbish host. It doesn't happen often and I swore it wouldn't happen again, a promise I've kept to this day.
