Hello Boys!

Just a thought, Mark Morrison said something interesting, he said he wished the Bluetones had split 8/9 yrs ago as the money made in comebacks is much better than it is now. He said it in a joking way but there is truth to what he says.

2 Yrs since the last gigs took place......

Anyhow, for the past 1 year a series of bands including the Bluetones, Idlewild, Gomez & Ash have played these special gigs of playing their 1st LP outright plus other material.

So I was thinking if James & boyz could do the same? A fair few combinations there:

1st Night 1st 1 LP plus B Sides/Covers or You Are Here
2nd Night 2nd LP & plus B Sides/Covers or You Are Here

Or 1 night the 1st 2 LP's & the other the 3rd & 4th plus any new stuff?

Then you could do the ultimate & leave it for the night to decide which to do?

Just any kind of Silver Sun gig would be good. ;)

I'm not too sure about whole album gigs for all but my very favourite albums; you'd know what was coming next and it's rare to have an album where every song would be a live cracker.

Silver Sun has most of the best songs near the beginning, so I'm not sure if I'd get a bit bored with the second half. It'd still be pretty cool to hear though, and they may as well stick the speaking bits in. :D And as you suggest, following that up with some b-sides from the era would be excellent.

Neo Wave is more consistent throughout the album I feel, so it may be suited more to such a gig. Though if I had the choice, I'd still choose Silver Sun!
