...yes, I've been playing Rock Band. I now have more fake instrument games than real instruments. Shhhh.

So yeah, video games introduce me to another band that I should, in retrospect, have known about years ago 'cos apparently they're exactly the sort of thing that makes me grin. Power-pop done well, with just a hint of odd about it. The sort of thing that keeps us coming back here, or something.

Erm, discuss, I guess.

I saw them at ATP a couple of years ago and loved them, and bought two albums in the merch room... but by the time I'd got home, I realised it was just relative - I'd been so relieved to hear something familiar-sounding after a whole weekend of post-rock that I overreacted. I haven't listened to the albums since - I ought to give them another go.

I have one of their albums I haven't listened to much. Perhaps I should give it more attention...
