I love Blur a great deal. But if the original version of Parklife had been used, rather than them having the idea of getting Phil Daniels in, Damon Albarn would have been a laughing stock for the rest of his life and they'd never have reached album 4. Seriously....

I'm a big blur fan too, but this song makes me hate Damon Albarn!
I don't think it's that bad, and remember it's only a rough demo - the final vocals would have sounded a lot better, you can tell from the singing bits too. Phil Daniels was perfect for it though.
A bit late on this... but, um, I think I actually prefer it to the final version. :blink:
There's no credit crunch when it comes to tickets these days & considering Blur have not got any new material or LP for the coming outdoor gigs & 1 indoor they should be ashamed for charging £50 for a ticket.
