My suggestion is this:

WE should discuss about a storyline role play that we could all agree to. And the mechanics of how it would work, and the whole she-bang. Eh?

But as for the storyline, here's some basic lay-downs:

Because the storyline role play has to be for everyone, it has to allow all weapons, and of course, it will be set in the present. Character Sheets will be required, and I think to make it simpler, you just have to make one in the Character Sign-Up place, so that we don't need to re-post. And to make the world work for everyone, it will be set so that individual role plays can be set up in there, but they must all relate to one another (like, if someone is dead, they obviously can't go there; or if the story is set in a different world, there obviously can't be some randomly made new place).

Also, weapons would have to be equalized. No unfair advantages, period.

Well, obviously weapons would have to be equalized, or else the futuristic ones would roam everywhere. But really, most people have already found their way around the whole gun-sword argument, either by making their own weapon stronger or by making their character extremely buffed. And this leads to yet another point: Godmodding. If rules are put strict on enough, something will always lead to excuses to godmod.

So, we need to watch out for that, although I think weapons aren't that important to be thinking about... As for modern day, sounds good, and I think I know how to get everyone on the same page as far as semi-lit goes. Also, thanks for not mentioning me as either illiterate, semi-literate, or literate. Although I do prefer not knowing what section I fit under.

Modern-day, so now futuristic weapons, like laser anythings or transforming whatevers. Okay. But, also, if the RP is just a free world where people can do their indivvidual stories, you need to be able to keep it roped in so there aren't that many tangents branching out. Unless I'm wrong about what you wrote. In that case, forget what I just wrote.

Lol. I noticed. I think you should be classified as a semi-literate, as you don't really obsess over rules and hate the people who just can't post right. Now as for the free world thing, the role play would really work out that was, as being that people can freely go off on their own tangents. But, as far as ruling and storyline goes, they have to follow their tangents within the boundaries of reason. Good thought though, as it might just happen that way.

Now I have no idea what your first sentence was about, but yes, present-day. I think you meant 'no' instead of 'now'. Although, those kinds of weapons should be acceptable... More talk about that is needed.

Alright. Sorry for the confusion. As for if they're accepted or not, I would think so, although a restriction on power would be required for them. After all, in a fantasy-based reality, anything could happen.

True, true, like time-travling weapons, or a brilliant weapons inventor. Those can be good plot devices, if used within reason.

I guess, although I doubt anyone here would be interested in playing in such a role as that. Yet, I still wonder if we're even going to be getting the role play. T_T

Well, for a specific range of weapon availability, you'd have to ask Lainey on it, because I simply can't make all the calls, because this isn't my forum at all. As for plasma grenades, I do think they're out of the question, though. Although if you changed the name and appearance but kept the sticky and the explody, I think you could pull it off.
