First off: This is teh awesome and a great idea that I never would have thought up. I should put information about this thread in the RPG creation topic, so people can more easily have it a requirement if desired.
Second off: Good idea to leave people's different attacks in separate replies; it'll be easier to link to that way. I don't mean to take yours out of the first post, but just for everyone to have a separate response.
Third off: My characters. <3
Merrick,
Shinomori Kenjo, and
Shinomori Aoshi (All members of Nitou Kodachi Ryu)
Information via
Rurouni Kenshin Romantation.
Onmyo Kosa - Shadow Light Cross: N/A
Can only be used when first kodachi is stuck in a parry.
The user strikes the second kodachi on top of the first one, forming a cross, to increase the strength of the blow, raising a swing to a level of power needed to cut through solid steel.
Gokou Juji - Curved Blade Cross Slash: N/A
Can be used at any time.
The user brings the kodachi together as to form a scissor like strike used to sever a body’s appendages or cut through the corroded artery.
Onmyou Hasshi - Dusk to Dawn Strike: N/A
Best when used from a range of 7 to 10 ft or so.
The user throws the kodachi like a dart at the opponent with the second blade hidden behind, in the shadow of the first blade. This usually confuses the opponent so they only block the first one. If they dodge the second one the users then usually runs up while they are surprised after only just dodging and delivering a kenpo blow.
Kaiten Kenbu Rokuren - Spiral Sword Dance: Six Successive Strikes: One Turn.
Can be used at any time, so long as the user has the kodachi backhand.
The user flips the hold on both kodachi to back hand and then runs forward and starts the Kaiten Kenbu, rapidly spinning around three times to slash the opponent across the chest, except delivering six strikes coming from either the right or the left. This is the ultimate attack of Kodachi Nitou Ryu.
Grey Wolf Himura and
Katanoki Chaos (Members of Ryoujin Ryu, along with a few moves from other styles due to Mitori Practice - See the note at the end.)
Kieru - Disappear - Ryoujin Ryu:N/A, and is also used out of combat.
The user must have the Shijigen (Fourth Dimension) Katana.
The user makes a slash against open air, making a tear the dimension. They quickly move through, the hole closing up right after them. This can be changed to allow others through if the user focuses on it. After going through the hole, the user will either appear in a different dimension, or more usually, in a different place in the same dimension. This is of their choosing.
Moetsuku - Ignite - Ryoujin Ryu: N/A, and can be used instantaneously.
The user must have the Shijigen (Fourth Dimension) Katana.
The user whispers 'Moetsuku,' and the katana bursts into flames. Dangerous in close combat.
Battoujutsu - Art of the quick draw: N/A
The user must be able to sheath the sword first. Also, the sword must be curved.
The user has the sword sheathed, then draws it as quickly as possible, using the momentum of the draw to attack. Extremely fast, but can be parried or, in cases with a blunt or damaged blade, avoided. If not stopped, however, it deals great damage.
Ryuujin No Hitoshirezu Katana - Hidden Blade of the Dragon King - Ryoujin Ryu: 2 Turns.
Can only be used if the user is given a moment to prepare, and if they have the Shijigen Katana.
The user flips the blade in their hand. If the sword can ignite, the user does this now. Then, the user goes into a state where they unconsciously lock on to all life forms in the vicinity, while drawing as much power as possible into his or her legs and arms. After this is done, the user disappears, cutting into everything alive within a certain radius, depending on the situation. Not even the user can control themselves at this point. The major weakness of this technique is that if the user is struck while in this state, they are hit with the full damage of the blow and then some due to the speed in the technique. Also, note that the user does NOT merely move too fast for the eye to see, but uses Kieru to move between dimensions, and thus can only be struck at the moment of the attack.
Note for Grey and Chaos, along with
Fake - Mitori Practice: If necessary, they can use sword attacks from their allies within the specific RPG, but the damage will be severely weakened. The weakening, however, is far less noticeable with Fake, since his style is derived solely from Mitori Practice.
Barty Crouch Jr:All techniques are from the Harry Potter series, and can be found
here. His more used ones will be added... but... I'm lazy. >_< And I want to post so I don't accidentally lose this or something.
