J’dee kicked her stereo system as she tried to get her damn piece of junk to work. The thing finally started up with the familiar tune of “Mortal Kombat”. She began her long set of muscle stretches fuming about Kenjo’s words. That man truly did infuriate her. Turning in her stretches she heard her back crack. With a wince she began doing handstand push-ups. After about 100 or so of these J’dee swore quietly as she balanced on the palm of her right hand since her left was too injured to fully support her weight.
“One of these days I’ll kick Kenjo’s ass. Then he won’t be able to treat me like I’m five or something. I’m friggen’ 22 and he’s actin’ all superior.” She hissed extending her arm and legs into a balancing stance. For over half an hour she tried to hold the position but found herself slowly fading. In the back of her mind she swore she heard Kenjo laughing at her, calling her weak. With fierce determination she pushed hard with the tiring right arm and summoned her sansekkon staff and began using her energies to make the crescent shaped blade whirl around her like an angry storm tearing the practice dummy to shreds. Next she dodged the falling bits of the practice dummy, more used to dodging multiple blows from above. Slipping on a bit of the fallen dummy she landed on her ass.
“Shit!” she growled standing. <_< Sits on the ground meditating and waiting for someone to offer to train with her... Hopefully not Kenjo but meh... the way her luck was going that's just who'd show up.
