Title: Love and War

He was bored again.
A finger played with the rim of a full and untouched glass of rum and coke, which was placed on the bar top infront of the man who had ordered it. The man himself was positively astounding in an inexplicable way. The pub itself had tensed the moment he had entered. But that tense breath that was universally held for just that split second had soon released as he had thrown a large and smug grin in the direction of the occupants. Oh, the must have thought, just another weirdo. Hm.
Well, he certainly looked different. He had a small triangle of trimmed hair beneath his lower lip, which matched the black coal of his ruffled and messy hair. His skin was it's usual tanned tone, his teeth charmingly white in contrast. He adorned his preferred black leather jacket with red stitches with pants to match, a simple white shirt tight across his svelte chest. He was leaning back in the bar stool, which had a respectable back to it.
He gave a wink to five men who had been watching him rather closely since his enterance. A gang? Most likely. He blew them a kiss, which made one of them stand up with wounded pride but then get settled back down by his surrounding friends. Wise decision. He continued smiling.

She was bored too. Perfect match.
Yay. Curb your enthusiasm.
Her elbow rested on the table, her violet eyes staring blankly at the opened book in front of her. She’d been reading about something, but she couldn’t quite remember what she had been reading about. The joys of not caring enough. This bar sucked. There was nothing here. Nothing at all, no dancing, no anything. Just a stupid bar with dirty people in it who probably are infested with diseases.
Of course she could have solved her problems by just going to another bar. But there was the principle behind the thing, she didn’t need to have to go anywhere else because the place sucked. She preferred to wallow in her own bored misery instead of just fucking teleporting or something. Love needs no true logic. Unless you’re playing the Sims or something, the love there is mathematic, but that was a completely different topic.
She could sense him, she was getting better at doing that. She turned her head, closing the book, and glanced at him. She hadn’t met him before….
”Your goatee thing looks funny.”

San didn't give her a glance. He continued staring down at his glass, which bubbled quietly. A large devilish grin spread over his lips as he leaned against the bar casually. Eventually he turned slightly towards the young goddess, raising a dark eyebrow at her.
"Don't you have some love arrows to shoot?..." He called to her in what seemed like mocking tones, but in the way his raspy deep voice shaped the words it seemed like he was genuinely interested. His eyes, which were coloured by thick bright blood, roamed over her form quite freely, not even bothering to be polite. After a few seconds of silence he turned back towards the bar, taping the seat next to him casually. "Sit next to me," He ordered cooly.

She had rested her head on her arm now, her blond curls falling in front of her eyes and over her arm. Less bored now. That was good. She couldn’t quite tell if he was being mean or not. Stupid people that are hard to determine what their emotion is.
”I use butterflies.” Maybe it could come back as being a naïve young goddess, or maybe it would come back as just disregarding his emotions, or maybe she was kidding. Eh, she didn’t really know herself. No point in really knowing what you were talking about, sucked the fun right out of life. His eyes were interesting, they looked red. So many godmarks seemed to be in the eyes, Az, Her father’s, this guys, and, Abb-Apoth, and Haze’s. Wow, that was a lot of people.
Sit next to him? Eh, why the hell not. Getting up, she headed over nearer to him and took a seat beside him.
((Sorry it took so long, I got kicked off the computer last night..))

"There's a good girl," he said as she sat next to him, a wide grin on his lips and an inexplicable glint in his unnatural eyes. He heard her butterfly remark but chose not to acknowledge it... Besides, what could he say to that? He was not a God of butterflies. He was the God that saw the butterfly, let it pass, and then continued whatever it was he was doing.
Well...Most of the time.
"So...Being a Goddess must agree with you," he said as he glanced over at her casually, his deep hoarse voice speaking perhaps a bit loudly. The others in the bar would have thought he was simply hitting on her. Well, perhaps they wouldn't have been totally off base. "After all, it did for your father. But that's a totally different story, isn't it?"
