Appearance: Firey red hair crown's Hugh's head. He wears it in spikey styles, but nothing too audacious, he does have a professional image to keep up. He has muted blue eyes, unless one looks closely they appear a pale grey, but get close enough to look deeply, and they are the soft shades of blue that make up sea glass. Hugh is a little under average height, but not too short. Women seem to think his height makes him more approachable, and yes they do seem to find him approachable.

Hugh always dresses impecably off work as well as at work, he can afford to after-all. He likes the attention well tailored clothes draw to him. He's in decent shape, jogging a few times a week and a day doing raquet ball at the gym seem to help. He does cardio work outs 30 minutes a day. This hardly leaves him buff, but he isn't flabby either, he doesn't look like he has a stuffy museum job.

He never wears jewelery, never has found a reason to. Unless that big gold rolex counts. His wedding ring is tatooed on, even though he's divorced. He's got a tatoo on each bicep left is a heart, because his is on his sleeve at times, right says '...turn out the lights don't try to save me...'

Background: Learned about magic sticking his nose where it didn't belong in his oh so impetuous youth.....while overseas doing an archeological dig one summer......

Sine then he devotes a good bit of his time to persuing not only his historical studies, but also magical ones. He takes a great deal of satisfaction when his studies encompass both.

Hugh's parents both died when he was still in college. He has one sister who he hasn't heard from much in years, if only he didn't hear from her at all. There's also a half brother he'd like to forget part of the time.
