Title: Class question! =D

Heeeey, so I need some help. =( I need to figure out a class for my character, but I really don't know what to call him.

Okay! So my character bought the ability [from some random guy] to transfer portions of time from person to person (losing time is the equivalent of not existing for a short while, but gaining time is being able to do stuff while the rest of the world is frozen still, but they can't move more than a few feet from where they started or directly affect anyone else [like killing them or even moving them around] in that time. Gaining time is really only useful if you need to balance your checkbook or take a good, long nap), but that's the only thing he could do. I figured I'd just call him a mage for lulz, but he's not really much of a mage. I guess. I dunno. I have to confess I'm not well-versed in a lot of fantasy terms.

I guess I should probably ask if this is even an okay idea while I'm at it. >D

Chronomancer. Nothing I've read says they have to be established terms.

No idea whether or not it's OK though, sorry.

Oooh, I kind of like the sound of that~~

We generally don't encourage time travel on Once, but this sort of thing would be fine since it's not actually going forward or back, it's just speeding up or slowing down for specific people.

I like what Kes suggested; chronomancer is a cool word.

Yep, it's cool, Lisa.
