Title: Just Thrill Not Kill
Description: Please for anyone and everyone!

Lyra repeated her mantra several times over, just for the thrill not for the kill, just for the thrill not kill, but it wasn't working. The club pulsed with music and bodies everywhere distracting her from focusing. She was trying a thing she read on the internet. At first she called it crap, and moved on. But when she got desperate looking up ideas to help her, she resorted back to it. A twelve-step program on how to quit nasty habits that offend your co-workers.

Now the program wasn't exactly designed for nasty habits such as eating co-workers, but Lyra tried her best to modify it for a werewolf. Lyra was beginning to think that either she did not modify it correctly, or she needed to move on to a better program. She voted for the latter.

Lyra looked around herself, and definatly agreed to change her program. She'd already broken step number three and seven, avoid temptation and discipline yourself for doing the habit. She swore she'd discipline herself when she returned home. She would, honestly.

A moment of space was given to her, and she was able to breath in without bringing in any unwanted hair and skin. A waft of smells hit her nose, and she coughed hard at the sudden impact to her brain. Her nose scrunched up and her brain started a headache. She'd been warned of this...why didn't she listen? But of course she didn't pay attention to things like that, as of now she realised how out of place her clothes were. They weren't "club" clothes. They were scrap feel-good clothes, and the looked crinkled and yanked out of the laundry pile at last minute.

Oh boy.

Sighing with exasperation, Lyra made her way to get a drink, and set up at the bar to look for her thrill.....and maybe the kill.......

Lore stood against the wall opposite Lyra, looking around glumly at all the people and twisting a lock of her dark red hair between her thumb and middle finger. She had a foot against the wall. If someone was looking at her directly on, it would have looked like she was missing half her leg from the knee down. She blinked, and started turning her head to look around at all the people individually. She focused on Lyra for a moment, then moved on to look at a person a little ways away.

"I'm bored" She said to herself "Not like it's anything new..."

She used the hand that was not twisting hair to scratch an itch on her shoulder. Then she went back to her previous task of staring at people.

Lyra felt eyes on her. A predator knows when it's being watched, as it usually does the watching. She turned her head slightly, and saw the staring person turn their head just in time to miss Lyra look at them. Lyra gave her a glare, one of those rare murderous glares. The girl had extremly long hair, and looked clothes to match the clubs decor.

"Remember ignorance," she muttered to herself, another aquintance reminded her of ignorance, and how people didn't honestly know Lyra hated to be stared at. Her lip curled slightly at the girl, then turned away. Lyra wreethed at her actions, wanted to squirm away inside. But the lust for blood was strong. Too strong to really resist. Maybe she should teach that girl who looked at her a lesson...Lyra smiled at the idea, and sat up from her unknown drink. Scare a human, it would be nice. No killing, just plain thrill of the hunt. Or so i hope... came lingering thought...

She downed the last of her drink, and shifted through the crowd quickly. She moved behind a pillar, one that supported the balcony above. It made sure that she could see, without being seen. She leaned against the pillat and summed up an intense gaze on the girl leaning against the wall. A predator like aura came about Lyra, and she waited for a sign of feeling watched. She had to test it first, as some people were so out of sync with the instinctual side that they wouldn't even feel a bit bothered. Heck, they'd become happy they were so reversed! If this person was one of those...she would definatly have to rid the human gene pool of such lineage.

Lore blinked as the hairs at the back of her head stood on end. She looked frantically around for a moment, and then waved her hand behind her. She shook her head frantically and made a little groaning sound. She knew she was bein watched. By who, she didn't know. She went back to her previous task of staring, trying desperatly to ignore the eyes of the person...

Lyra grinned, not maliciously, just happy. Adrenaline hitched up a notch as Lyra moved again, weaving her way carefully with the crowd to another spot in the club. She crossed not twelve feet in front her target, the girl with the extra long hair. Just for a split second, Lyra was able to catch the girl's eye as she was scanning the room, and give her the cold stare. Next blink and Lyra had used her skills at moving through the forest, in this case the crowd, to blend in. It appeared as if she disappeared, or so she hoped. She wasn't sure how well she blended in with the raggy clothes she was wearing.

Lyra continued to walk towards another corner of the room, and this time she sat down at a little secluded table and watched. She'd hope the girl would do something soon, after all, she was only allowing herself the thrill.

(if i didn't make this clear, sorry, my char thinks your char is human, and she isn't...right? and...your char is an innie, mine outie, and were not talking about belly buttons...that sound savy?)

Lunar Moon Wulf - December 21, 2005 08:33 PM (GMT)
OOC: Lore is a dark angel with no wings. She is innish.

IC:

Lore looked around, trying to find the source of the unknown stare. When she caught the eyes she made a mental note to find those eyes and speak to the person whom they belonged too. She wanted to know why she was being watched. As far as she knew, she hadn't done anything to anyone. She began to scan EVERY face she saw in her frantic search.

Lyra stared at her target, and images of blood, carnage and bone bits flecked out. Lyra cringed with sudden realization at her train of thought, and broke her gaze at the girl. She was being stupid. How could she not kill when on the hunt?

She turned away for a moment, ashamed of her behavior. IT was a little kids game to do that, even if it was so tempting...

"Accept a drink for an apology?" Lyra said abruptly before her previous target. She was holding out a sealed bottle water, the only thing sealed that she could snag from behind the counter without being caught. IT was a bit silly, but Lyra felt morally wrong about what she did. She couldn't even look at the girl, but just held out the water for her.

Lunar Moon Wulf - December 27, 2005 11:55 PM (GMT)
"I don't need water" Lore said simply. She didn't really know why this girl was aploligizing. She didn't really care much about anything right now. And why wouldn't this girl look at her? Odd people these days, she though blunty.

OOC: ugh, i deeply apoligize....my char so far has been...let's just say i don't like her. if you will consent, i would like to change how may character, er, does stuff. It pains me that i would like to restart, because it puts you in a upset manner. But i must beg,i wasn't complete in my thoughts when i started this RP nd i haven't been clear on her attitude.

again, with apoligies, would you consent to restarting the RP?

Lunar Moon Wulf - January 2, 2006 07:10 PM (GMT)
OOC: Sure. go ahead and restart. But incise you havn't noticed, my char is ALWAYS in a bad mood. ^_^

Echo - January 14, 2006 05:07 AM (GMT)
Heh, no problem, I'd wouldn't even care if your character was half posessed and spit random flaming kitty toys from her ears, I'm just happy your going to let me restart! Thanks!

here it goes...:

Music.Loud.Thumping.

Lyra let her eyes roll into the back of her head, the smells of the bar intoxicating her. She shivered thinking of each scent as it flew up her nostrils.

Perfume, musk, sweat, flesh, all hidden and interlaced with the heavy dusty scent of clothes worn too little or too much. But the scent that intrigued her most, that lingered on her mind and ghosted on her tongue, was blood. She didn't know where it came from directly, maybe someone had just recieved a bloody nose, maybe a human female was on her period. It didn't matter to Lyra. Female, male, still human. She'd been human once, but that seemed so long ago. She could no longer be human. After all the things she did...

NO! Quivered part of her mind No! You can still be...

It was silenced quickly, before it told her to turn around and get the hell out.

There was no hope for her. She took a breath and opened her eyes, just realizing how long she'd had them closed. She took a quick surveylance to see several take a strange glance at her, but no more.

She'd come to hunt, the thrill of stalking, the adreniline of how close she could get to prey before it spooked.

Just for the thrill not for the kill... a message leaked into her consciousness. She nodded and found a spot at a wall that was not occupied. It happened to be next to a very bored looking female. Lyra looked around from her vantage point to select her target.

[i]the female is ur char, hope ya don't mind,'

Lunar Moon Wulf - January 17, 2006 12:11 AM (GMT)
Lore looked around the gloom, surveying every face. All the while she held a can of coke in her hand, evry once and awhile sipping it. She really didn't feel like drinking alchohol tonight. After all, she didn't have the money for the bus or a taxi. Her eyes lingered on one person in particular. Something about her...she couldn't put her finger on it. Oh well She thought and then started playing with the can.
