Title: Early Morning Festivities
Description: Niiiiiiiie! Evil girl, I spoil you <3333
Kaylee - December 5, 2005 01:11 AM (GMT)
Ziggy didn't know how long he had been out here. Shivering and trudging in the cold, early, early morning. It was most likely around 3 am. Too early, and it was so scary in this park, he was so tired, but he wouldn't give up looking.
- Earlier -
He had woken up shivering, naked, without any blankets on the big, comfy bed. There was an empty spot beside him, where just hours before, his boyfriend had been laying, tickling and kissing him. Now the warmth was gone and the strong, beautiful body was missing.
Where had Kriss gone?
A groggy look at the clock, surely it was too early...it was only 1 am. Ziggy made a face as he sat up, slim tan legs curling up to his body as he looked around blearilly. It was so quiet. He could hear his own heart. A shiver. Where was Kriss? He wrapped his arms around his shoulders, looking around, feeling scared. Without Kriss he felt weak; vulnerable. He bit his lip. Calm down Damien, no need to freak...
Kriss had been acting funny earlier too. Even while he wanted to always have sex, he didn't usually nearly force himself on Ziggy. Sure, he'd push him into it, but he wouldn't actually force him. Not that Ziggy minded. Kriss had just been acting odd. He sighed and climbed out of the bed slowly.
Scary.
He mumbled, rubbing his eyes. He smelt of sweat and sex. He needed a shower. And then he'd go look for Kriss. Why? Becuase he felt he needed to, maybe something was wrong...
- Now -
Ugh. So he's been out here for an hour or more. He doesn't have a watch. He's dressed in his boots, heavy duty jeans, and a thick coat. He even has earmuffs, gloves, and a scarf. He looked very cute, small, and vulnerable. He felt that way too, without Kriss's imposing figure to protect him. He gave a shaky sigh, looking around the path he was on. He didn't know why he was at the park, but it seemed everyone was here, right?
Kriss said he'd go to the park every month or so. Weird habit his boyfriend had explained. Maybe this was one of those nights. Ziggy frowned, turning onto a path that was less traveled. I took the road less traveled...now where the hell am I? Ziggy couldn't help but muster a small smile. That was one of Kriss's night shirts. Though Ziggy much preffered him without any shirts at all.
His green eyes though, snapped back into focus when he saw something in a clearing past some trees. What the hell? His face took on a confused expression and he tiptoed quietly, barely breathing, over to the trees. He stopped and almost fell, leaning against one when he saw what it was. His expression was now disgusted. Oh my gods. It was a body...or what used to be one. Unlucky bastard. Ripped up and torn open. Ziggy felt sick now, afraid, and lonely.
He wanted Kriss.
Arcane Blood - December 5, 2005 08:56 PM (GMT)
Something, not too far away from Ziggy, issued a low, throaty growl, its head turning back in the direction of the body left gutted and lacerated. Whatever it was didn't sound very friendly.
That something- Ziggy might've been able to figure out it was a creature (perhaps some sort of animal) from the distance he was at if he were looking- pricked its ears up. It started a slow pace toward both of the humans (one alive and one dead) in a stalker-esque fashion. The full moon shone brightly on the creature as it progressed. It was snowy white, and had four legs. Its eyes were a brilliant green.
As it progressed forward, it started snarling. Three feet remained between Ziggy and the monster. Its meal had been interrupted by something else, and it started coming back, only to find another one of those human things beside his unfinished dinner.
Growl. Snarl.
Two feet between Ziggy and the... werewolf.
Kaylee - December 6, 2005 12:01 AM (GMT)
Holy shit!
Ziggy heard that growl and he didn't even need to look twice. Wolf! Werewolf! Shit! Ziggy's mind was racing but he acted on first instinct - run. And he did. Squeezing between the thick trees, past the body, and through more trees. He would never be able to outrun that thing, but he'd be able to at least put some obstacles inbetween him and that thing, won't he?
He waqs crashing through bushes and clumps of trees. Maybe that thing would get distracted by its dinner - not bother with him. He was about to cry, of course he was terrified! He wanted Kriss. The werewolf was going to eat him! Or at least maul him and leave him for dead.
Neither option appealed to him. Giving a small cry as he smacked his shoulder into a tree branch, he continued through a low group of trees, ducking and twisting to avoid the thick trunks.
Runrunrun.
Arcane Blood - December 6, 2005 12:11 AM (GMT)
The werewolf's first instinct after Ziggy ran, was, of course, to run after him. It didn't matter that it already had its dinner right before it and Ziggy left it alone. It cared that there was more meat on two legs, fleeing. The werewolf loved to chase things. He was fast.
The werewolf followed after, pushing through the obstacles that were put before it. It squeezed through things. It continued to chase Ziggy, its speed never decreasing. It did eventually have to go around spaces too tight for it to squeeze through, but it was fast.
Here it comes, Ziggy. Four paws beating against the ground. Three feet behind him.
Kaylee - December 6, 2005 12:26 AM (GMT)
Runrunrun.
Never look back was one of the first rules. Ziggy didn't even need to look behind him to know the werewolf was catching up with him - he could hear it. He cleared the low branches and was faced with another obstacle - a mini cliff. It dipped low onto lower ground. What did he do?
Jumped.
Onto the tree a few feet from it. He hit the branch with a thunk, winding himself. It tipped up and down dangerously, it wouldn't be able to hold his weight for long. While winded, he was working on adreline. He climbed quickly, pulling himself up onto another branch and then climbed more and more.
Best to put height between him and the werewolf.
Arcane Blood - December 6, 2005 12:36 AM (GMT)
The werewolf didn't even need to duck the low branches, because it was an animal and therefore closer to the ground than Ziggy was. It ran faster, closing in the distance between Ziggy and itself so much that it attempted to snap at the poor, frightened Fae's ankles. Of course it missed. Then Zig jumped and climbed. And, of course, the werewolf jumped after him.
The branch was already stressed from the previous weight of Ziggy falling on it, so when the wolf fell hard and tried to scramble to its feet, the branch snapped. The wolf fell to the ground with a thud, issuing a slight yip of pain before picking itself up.
It started to climb the tree, barking and snarling at Ziggy as its claws scratched at the tree.
This werewolf was particularly vicious, and particularly stubborn and determined- for now, I shall call him a male.
Kaylee - December 6, 2005 12:42 AM (GMT)
Ziggy was now openly crying, a lovely but sad sight. His green eyes were wet and soft as tears slipped down his tan face. He just kept climbing higher and higher, slipping every now and then, emitting a cry when he did so.
The moon shown down on this area - creating a lovely scene disturbed only by the snarling wolf and the crying Fae. He was terrified, he wanted to be back in bed, wrapped in Kriss's strong arms. He hated to feel so pathetic and so dependent on his boyfriend, but he couldn't help it. Being submissive to Kriss has its affects.
Kriss is the strong one, Zig is the timid one, it all works out. Where was Kriss? He stopped, arms and legs nearly going limp and he sobbed into his sleeve. He was so scared, so scared.
Arcane Blood - December 6, 2005 12:53 AM (GMT)
The werewolf had scratched into the trunk of the tree deeply, in attempt to try and climb it. Eventually, he had managed to throw half of his body onto a low branch that looked pretty sturdy, and then scramble almost effortlessly to his feet.
He was still barking continually, a deep and loud sound issued from his chest. It was a vicious, nasty sound of a wild animal. He jumped to the next branch without having to scramble to get up on all four of his paws, and then to another and... snap!
He fell back to the first branch as the previous one had snapped under his weight. He picked himself back up, then started climbing up again.
Growl.
He was very angry.
Kaylee - December 6, 2005 12:58 AM (GMT)
Zig continued climbing, willing himself too. His tears were blinding him but he just kept going. Then he too slipped up. Luckilly he just lost his footing and had both hands firmly on his branch. He quickly corrected his footing and resumed climbing.
Terror and adreline kept him going. It was terrifying. He kept going, scared and fearing for himself. But that didn't last long, he couldn't go any higher. The branches above were too thin and long to support him.
Oh shit. He wrapped his arms around the trunk and the pulled his legs up. He hand to do something.
Arcane Blood - December 6, 2005 01:04 AM (GMT)
It took the beast quite some times, as all the branches previously climbed on seemed to be snapping under him. But, the powerful werewolf had eventually managed to reach the branch just below Ziggy.
He jumped and landed hard on the branch, snarling and baring his fangs, trying to make his way to his feet.
He was so close to the Fae, it wasn't even funny.
Kaylee - December 6, 2005 01:08 AM (GMT)
Oh no he doesn't.
Ziggy felt one tiny twinge of anger go through him. Why must he be so pathetic? Why must he /feel/ so pathetic? He clenched his fist and in one brave - and most likely his last - move, his leg shot down.
Striking the werewolf in his head.
Right after he did so, he just realized he noticed the beast's eyes. Startling, gorgeous green. His eyes widened. It can't be possible, can it?
Kriss?
Arcane Blood - December 6, 2005 01:20 AM (GMT)
The werewolf issued a yelp after being struck. He fell from the branch, falling on several others that snapped under him until he reached the first branch he'd started climbing on. He tried to push himself to his feet, shaking his head. That blow to the face had left some damage. The creature was dizzy, and couldn't manage to get back to its feet.
He let out a howl.
Kaylee - December 6, 2005 01:32 AM (GMT)
Zig was tired, but he had to stay awake. He reached up, feeling around for a branch or, or something! His hand found a sturdy, broken branch of decent sized. He weighed it and then threw it down, hopefully it would hit the wolf. He does have good aim.
But Zig was so tired. His eyes were already drooping and he was leaning his head against the branch. The adreline rush was gone, the werewolf was on the ground, and his lack of sleep was catching up with him.
He had to stay awake.
Arcane Blood - December 6, 2005 01:40 AM (GMT)
The wolf had managed to get up on its feet, and jumped to one of the few sturdy branches left. Once he stood, he was hit again, and quickly scrambled for the next branch. The blow made him dizzier and he was obviously tired, but he was growling, being stubborn and climbing the tree one more time.
After a few attempts to jump to higher branches and nearly falling every time, he was near exhausted, but he continued to climb.
And he jumped onto the branch Ziggy was on again, panting. He snapped his jaws at the pretty Fae, barking.
Kaylee - December 6, 2005 01:52 AM (GMT)
Ziggy began to blink rapidly, pulling back as the wolf jumped onto the branch he was on. It began to teeter dangerously. Ohshitohshitohshit. Ziggy shrank back in time to avoid the snaps at him but he wasn't able to get back as he heard the sickening crack of the branch. It couldn't hold both his weight and the werewolf's.
Ziggy was lucky. Insanely lucky. He managed to smack into a branch, getting the wind knocked out of him. But he also managed to hit his head on it too. It hurt. He swung his leg over it and then clung onto it for dear life. Crying as he began to slip into sleep. No he couldn't, no he couldn't...he was so tired.
If he fell asleep, maybe...maybe he wouldn't...
and he fell into sleep, from exhaustion and the concussion.
Arcane Blood - December 6, 2005 02:15 AM (GMT)
The wolf was used to falling, but he had been so close. So close to having yet another piece of meat after all that work, and then he just fell. Onto the ground, missing the branch Ziggy did.
He fell onto the ground below the branch Ziggy had landed on, and lay motionless.
So exhausted.
Asleep.
Kaylee - December 7, 2005 01:33 AM (GMT)
Only a few hours later (was it three or four? Maybe even five...), Ziggy fell off the branch. It was a miracle he had even managed to stay on for the while he had. But he did, and he fell roughly 20 or so feet onto the ground. But he was unconcious, and like a rag doll, so he didn't tense or break any bones. He probably does have a quite a few bruises.
That woke him up though. It was sunnier and he lifted hi head groggilly. His sight was bleary and he flet like his head was going to split openn. A long groan as he sat up slowly, vision straightening slowly and he looked around, eyes falling to the body beside him.
Oh gods.
Ziggy choked on air and he gave a strangled cry, falling back onto the ground. He didn't try to stop the tears. Kriss? He was scared even more now...it was Kriss? Kriss is a werewolf? And he tried to eat him? Kill him? He shook his head slowly, taking off his coat and laying it on his boyfriend's naked form.
He stood up quickly after that - but then almost collapsed right away. He must have sprained his ankle. Oh it hurt. He winced and then hobbled, trying to get away to try to think things out but he failed, falling against the tree. Crying. Oh gods, is there such thing as crying too much? He wrapped his arms around the trunk, trying to get some comfort from it.
He was a sorry sight, tears streaming down his face, clothes ripped up, three small cuts on his face from getting smacked by a limb - no wounds from Kriss - but he was covered in bruises and cuts from everything else. His chest hurt, his head hurt, he hurt everywhere.
Arcane Blood - December 7, 2005 05:49 PM (GMT)
It was an eery coincedence that Kriss had awoken only a short time after Ziggy did. But, it wasn't the fact that he'd heard a body fall to the ground beside him. It was because he heard crying. His eyelids lifted to reveal tired but brilliant green eyes. The first thing he noticed that he was in the woods. He knew what that meant. He remembered it'd been a full moon the night before.
He tried to move, but his muscles protested loudly in the way of sending pain throughout his body. Climbing that tree and falling several times had been no easy task- it had left him sore and bruised. But he didn't remember why.
Second thing he noticed was that he wasn't naked. A familiar-looking coat was laid on his body. It was too familiar for him to not know who it belonged to. Such a thing worried him. It belonged to Ziggy.
Third thing he noticed, upon easing himself to a sitting position (if you could call it that) despite the whining of even his built body, was the person who was crying. Hugging a tree.
That slender form was quite unmistakable. Now, he was a little bit more than worried.
"Ziggy...?" He dared to call out.
Kaylee - December 8, 2005 09:50 PM (GMT)
Ziggy flinched and closed his eyes, pressing his face into the tree as he heard movement from the other. It didn't help muffle his sobs,he jut kept on crying and shaking. He was visibly shaking, from cold anf fright. He felt the other's eyes on him but only shyed away more, edging around the tree, keeping his eyes away. When the other spoke his name he flinched as if he had just reveieved a harsh blow.
As he tried to move away, a flash of apin went through his ankle and he fell onto the ground, giving a muffld cry and clutching his ankle. Only then did he try to look at Kriss. His eyes were wide and watery, tearful, and scared. He shuddered, still shaking and finally looked up, meeting the eys of the other. They shied for a moment before finally looking back.
"..K-Kri-iss..."
Arcane Blood - December 8, 2005 10:56 PM (GMT)
"I...I..."
Kriss, not someone who stumbled on words.
Not someone who thought to himself in a whisper, ...he... didn't, did he?... but I... that's not fair!
But, it was happening now.
"You..."
I told you... I...
"Ziggy, I... I'm sorry."
Sorry never made things better.
What does he think of me now?
But Ziggy... he was injured.
I... hurt him?
"A...are you okay?"
Kaylee - December 9, 2005 01:13 AM (GMT)
(( sentence by sentence rping. Woohoo. Our poor lovelies. I'm lazy too.))
Ziggy's eyes grey even more wet, and tears once again trickled down his face.
His ankle hurt so much.
His head hurt.
And Kriss looked scared too.
Not in the same way as he, but it made Ziggy hate feeling weak himself.
Biting his lip, face contorting in pain from his ankle, he crawled over to Kriss, ready to shy back at any moment.
He was still crying.
Kriss was trying to say something.
Ziggy didn't notice, the banging in his head was too loud and painful.
It was cold too.
But he didn't notice that either.
He just crawled, bloody knees leaving twin trails behind him until he stopped.
He was at Kriss's side.
He was still shaking, possibly even more violently, he was scared of Kriss.
But he wanted to be next to Kriss anyways.
So he gave a firm nod.
"Yea..."
More tears.
"I'm hurt."
Arcane Blood - December 10, 2005 08:34 PM (GMT)
((Yep. Me= epitome of lazy.))
"I..."
What the fuck!
...why did you come out here...? Damn it, Ziggy...
"You... look... bad."
In the sense that he pretty much looked lacerated.
"C-..can.. I help?"
He didn't want to touch him, for fear that he'd shy away. He already knew why Ziggy was so hesitant.
((Bahhh. Post= bleh. Sorry. *very contrite.*))
Kaylee - December 10, 2005 10:34 PM (GMT)
Ziggy was shaking, crying, and scared of Kriss - but he still wanted the other to hold him and comfort him.
A shake of the head.
"M-my cuts aren't-t fro-om you-ou, if tha-that is wha-at you wa-ant to know..."
He raised his arms, wrapping himself in them, trying to seek comfort from something.
He was hurt and scared.
"M-my hea-head hurt-ts..."
Indeed, there was a large bruise on his temple, he was lucky he hadn't gone into a coma.
A sob from him, but he choked and started to cough, bending over, choking on his tears and the breaths he was trying to take.
He couldn't breath.
Arcane Blood - December 11, 2005 08:29 PM (GMT)
"Z-Ziggy... I'm.. sorry."
Kriss inched a little closer to his slender Fae boyfriend, a frown creasing his lips and face. It still sort of hurt to move, but that wasn't what he was frowning about.
"I'm so sorry... I.. didn't want... this."
That wasn't helping, obviously. He went against his instincts and did something he was afraid to do.
And he gently wrapped his arms around Ziggy, feeling the strange urge to cry. He needed Ziggy maybe as much as Ziggy needed him right now.
"Please... don't cry."
Kaylee - December 14, 2005 01:02 AM (GMT)
"I-i-i-it's not your f-fault."
He wiped his eyes, turning to look at Kriss, who was inching closer.
"I was the one who c-came out to lo-ok for y-you."
As Kriss wrapped his arms around Ziggy, the timid and terrified Fae stiffened for a moment, then wrapped his own arms around Kriss. He was sobbing into Kriss's chest now, pulling himself closer, snuggling up to the strength of the other. He was a sad little thing, wasn't he?
He wished he could stop crying but that was really all he could do right now, lifting himself up into a more comfortable position, he buried his face into the crook of the other's neck - simply wanting comfort.
Arcane Blood - December 16, 2005 11:43 PM (GMT)
"I'm sorry... for what I did. It.. it's not your fault."
Kriss continued to hold him, and eventually one of his hands started gently rubbing his back in a soothing manner. He rocked him in his arms slowly and ever so slightly side to side, trying to be comforting.
"Hey, doll... I'm sorry."
He frowned even as Zig buried his face into the crook of his neck.
He said nothing.
(Sorry for taking so lo-oong. D:)
Kaylee - December 17, 2005 06:32 PM (GMT)
(( No problem ))
"But-t it isn't y-your's e-e-either."
His voice was muffled and he crawled into the other's lap the best he could, clinging to Kriss. He was still so scared, but Kriss was back to his normal self - right?
He started to cough again, choking on the tears inflitrating his mouth, and pulled his head back from the other - face red and wet.
Arcane Blood - December 19, 2005 12:33 AM (GMT)
"Shhh... it's all right, Ziggy."
He grew concerned when he started coughing again, and gently pulled away as Ziggy pulled away.
"I'm here now. I won't hurt you anymore. Please don't cry..."
He pushed away the tears he cried with his thumb, brushing hair away from his face.
Kaylee - January 19, 2006 03:57 AM (GMT)
(( OOC: Woah. Well, no more finals for me. Woop. ))
Ziggy was still coughing, but not as violently and could breath a little more.
He looked up at Kriss, eyes wide and sad. Ziggy didn't want to feel the way he did right now but he couldn't help it. He felt...
Shy. Scared. Untrusting.
He was shaking again too, mainly from cold. Poor Kriss must be cold too.
He looked away from the sky and then to Kriss once again.
It was unspoken, just hold him Kriss. Talking isn't going to do anything right now.
