Title: What's The Point?
Description: -Open-

It's a fairly decent afternoon. Decent enough for the girl to be out anyway. Although, it probably wouldn't have mattered if it was raining this afternoon. She had fled from the house after having yet another arguement with her brother, Matthew. Idiot brother had called their dad and said she was sick. She just hoped that he went through with telling them that he'd been joking. She'd been angry and freaked out when she left the house.
She's wearing a pair of light blue running shorts and a light blue tank top. Her running shoes are on her feet. She looks like hell for the most part. Her clothing hang on her abnormally skinny frame as if they were merely hanging on a hanger in the closet. Her eyes are a bit sunken and her hair is looking a little on the dull side.
She had taken off out the backdoor and jumped over the fence. There was no way she was going to head out the front door and end up running into her parents or something since Matthew had called their dad. She didn't know if they had cut their plans short and head home right then and there or not. No way was she going to stick around and find out. Matthew could deal with them. Stupid brother anyway. It's his fault. All of it is his fault.
She had ran all the way to the beach. Not stopping once until she got there. She had been a bit on the paranoid side after she took off. Paranoid that Matthew or their parents were going to find and follow her. No way was she going to let them take her to some hospital and such. They'd end up keeping her for a while. She knows this and is trying to avoid it at all costs. Even if it means she ends up being the one staying out at all hours of the night instead of her brother.
She finds a quiet place away from the rest of the people on the beach. She doesn't need, nor want, anyone staring at her. She knows she looks sick. Does she care though? Not really. She picks a spot close to a bunch of rocks and sinks down to the sand. Leaning back against one of the rocks, she makes herself comfortable. She won't be leaving here anytime too soon. Probably not until it gets dark and she's certain that her parents are in bed.

"Do you think you could move more into the shade, we really should talk you know." A crooning voice suggests. Mac can sound quite diferent than he really is he's had a lot of time to become a rather splendid actor.
He's been waiting for a chance to get the girl alone again and now he seems to have it. Matthew hadn't been weakened and desperate enough to be maleable for Mac's purpose. He still needed the girl's help. Besides in the event his plans with the boy failed the girl might make an equally usefull host.
He waited for her answer.

She jumped ever so slightly at the sudden sound of a voice. "Yeah. Sure. Whatever," she muttered and got to her feet. Turning towards the voice, she moved deeper into the cluster of rocks. Once she was in the shade, she let herself slunk back down in the sand against one of the rocks. "What?"
K-Squared - October 4, 2005 10:44 PM (GMT)
" I was hoping you could tell me what, then perhaps I can help. You're brother is a busy little thing isn't he?" Mac asked.
oneofmanysouls - October 4, 2005 10:46 PM (GMT)
"My brother is an asshole," she says point blankly. "He's trying to get our parents to put me in the hospital. He doesn't think I have anything on him that he can't talk his way out of." She sounds tired. She's not sleeping well. She's not eating much. She's just flat out not taking care of herself right now. "I'm sick of his shit. Always running his mouth."
K-Squared - October 4, 2005 10:54 PM (GMT)
"Well do you have anything on him he can't talk his way out of? I know I don't yet, unless an older woman might do it?" He says in a soft voice. Here he has to contain his glee at meddling in the situation.
oneofmanysouls - October 4, 2005 10:57 PM (GMT)
"All I've got on him is the situation with his spanish teacher..." she says quietly. "I know that he's got himself a new victim. The poor girl. He said it's some fat girl that had been a virgin or something of the sort. Poor thing has no clue. Gave herself to that... monster..."
She paused.
"And the bruises that I'm sure to have on my arms and back after today..."

"She is a bit on the plump side, good hips for child rearing. She works at Monroe's If you ate more you might have caught on." he says to her, he can't help but be a smartass at moments like these. "She's in her twenties, the only plump one there on the wait staff." he supplies.
oneofmanysouls - October 4, 2005 11:20 PM (GMT)
"How do you know this?" she asked curiously. "I mean... yeah..."
She paused.
"What am I supposed to do? Just go up to her and flat out say 'hey, did you know my brother is just fucking you to feed off of your life energy?'?"
K-Squared - October 4, 2005 11:26 PM (GMT)
"Tsk tsk. You really need to learn to work on subtlety dear, it isn't your strong suit and it's a very useful skill. You have several options. From convincing her she's just a rebound thing, to convincing her she's just one of his many bed partners or just turning it over to your parents. Me personally I'd like to see her get mad and turn him down, but he killed me and I'm petty." Mac tells the girl.
Oh the lies we love to hear.
oneofmanysouls - October 4, 2005 11:36 PM (GMT)
"Turning it over to my parents won't do any good. He'll just talk his way out of it like he does everything else," she says with a shake of her head. "I do like the idea of convincing her that she's just a rebound thing. He did, after all, call her fat in a cruel sounding way when he was telling me about her..." Can you see the wicked grin that's beginning to form on her face?
"But what if he gets angry and hurts her? I couldn't live with myself knowing that I was the cause of it..."
K-Squared - October 4, 2005 11:44 PM (GMT)
"Well you can always let them lock you away and let the little monster go completely unchecked." He suggests in a very dry tone.
oneofmanysouls - October 4, 2005 11:48 PM (GMT)
"Shut up," she snaps in reply. "I'm not getting locked up and the little bastard isn't going to continue to get away with his shit. That's all there is to it."
She pauses and turns her head enough to look out over the water. "Fine. I'll do it," she says. "I'll find the girl and turn her against him. Does he have any other sources that he's been going to? Or is it just her? Since you seem to know so much already."
K-Squared - October 4, 2005 11:50 PM (GMT)
"Oh no he seems to have completely alienated his boyfreind. There's no one else I know of." He told her.
You can bet he took great delight in Cheddar's angst too, that's what the demon deserved for interfering in Mac's ability to possess Vivienne.
oneofmanysouls - October 4, 2005 11:54 PM (GMT)
Her eyes widen slightly as she turns her head towards the 'ghost' thing.
"Boyfriend? He had a boyfriend too??" Does she sound surprised? Why yes. Yes she does.
K-Squared - October 4, 2005 11:58 PM (GMT)
"I think it was more serious than they played at too, yes an older demon, much older. " Mac commented softly reflecting on how dejected the demon had been when he and Matthew parted company. It was hard not to laugh.
oneofmanysouls - October 5, 2005 12:00 AM (GMT)
"Demon?? Damn. Idiot boy has been keeping a lot of secrets it seems," she says with a shake of her head.
K-Squared - October 5, 2005 12:09 AM (GMT)
"You need any other nuggets of information from me today?" he asks her mildly amused when she calls her brother "idiot boy".
oneofmanysouls - October 5, 2005 12:11 AM (GMT)
She shook her head slightly.
"No. I don't think so," she says in reply. "You need anything from me?" It seemed only right for her to ask him that since it was him that had said they needed to talk.
K-Squared - October 5, 2005 12:18 AM (GMT)
"I only needed to give you ammunition, against out mutual enemy." He told her.
oneofmanysouls - October 5, 2005 12:20 AM (GMT)
"Thanks," she said and turned her head to look at the water again. "I appreciate it. Anything to make the fucker suffer." Goodness. Such anger and spite.
K-Squared - October 5, 2005 12:24 AM (GMT)
"I'll leave you to plot then." he says smuggly, he just knows she will. With that he's gone oozing off to whatever place he's been calling home.
oneofmanysouls - October 5, 2005 12:26 AM (GMT)
"See ya," she says. And plot she does. She's got a lot to think about and plan. It ends up being long after dark before she finally gets up to make her way home. She locks her bedroom door behind her before going to bed.
(*kills it* lol)
