Title: It's Moving Day...
Description: -Reserved for Kerri-

oneofmanysouls - September 3, 2005 04:33 PM (GMT)
“Be careful,” says an angelic voice. “Don’t you scratch that. It’s antique.” The voice sounds irritated. That’s because she is. Slightly irritated. With the moving guys that is. They’re moving her dresser at the moment. And they bumped it on the doorway. Thankfully there was no mirror on it. It wouldn’t have made a whole lot of sense for the vampress to get the antique mirror that could have gone with the dresser. It’s not like she’d have been able to look at herself in it.

Sasha is hanging out in the kitchen. Laying in the doorway to be exact. She lifts her head at the sound of her irritated vampire and watches. She doesn’t growl. Just watches. The dog isn’t sure what’s going on really. However, she knows it’s somehow important. She can feel it. The vibes from her vampire that is. After a few moments, she lowers her head to her paws again but continues to watch.

Cheddar was running just a tad bit late. Chasing down Bart had slowed him down. That blasted orange cat from down the street had goaded Bart once again. He wa sure Enyo would understand but still, he was a touch disappointed with himself.

He was watching the movers load the truck. "Hey. watch that, those are antiques, some of them priceless. You do know the difference between priceless and worthless right?" the demon asked in irritation. The movers seemed to immediately straighten up at his censure.

He went into the apartment and Sasha greeted him. "Hey girl." he crooned sweetly at the dog before going to Enyo. "Sorry I'm late." he told her with a quick kiss.

oneofmanysouls - September 3, 2005 05:19 PM (GMT)
Of course she’d understand. It seemed that damn cat had a death wish. One of these days the thing wouldn’t be able to get away quick enough. Oops. Poor kitty.

Inside the apartment, the vampress is still scowling at the clumsy movers. She hears Sasha whine happily and glances over her shoulder. “The cat again?” she asks as she kisses him back. She hears a thud and whips her head around. “Damn it!” she growls. “What part of be careful are you not getting?” The movers have managed to bang her antique dresser against the wall again.

K-Squared - September 3, 2005 05:23 PM (GMT)
The demon casts a withering scowl at the movers, much like the men outside loading the truck up, thes also seem to behave better under Cheddar's scrutiny.I must admit, the demon can be very intimidating even disguised as a mortal.

"Yes, it was the cat again. No survival instincts at all. One day Bart will get it, and I expect I'll hear no end to it." He tells her softly. He maintains his glare at the movers.

oneofmanysouls - September 3, 2005 05:37 PM (GMT)
With the scowl from Cheddar, the movers do seem to try to be more careful. It seems to be much different with the large demon scowling at them than the tiny vampress. Idiots. They’ve got no clue just how nasty she can get when she loses her temper. Let’s just hope they don’t get the not so fun pleasure of seeing it. Things seem to get broken when she loses her temper. Doors mostly.

She shakes her head. “They really should keep better tab on their cat if they don’t want it to become a doggy snack,” she says and moves to lean against him. There’s not much left for the movers to move out of the place. Her bed still has to be taken down and loaded up. She’s already stripped the blankets, sheets and canopy from it. Don’t want the idiots to rip anything.

K-Squared - September 3, 2005 06:04 PM (GMT)
She leans against him and an arm goes around her as if it's a natural as breathing. The movers are beingmore careful, but they also happen to be talking smack about Cheddar being a dirty old man. Enyo does look quite young and lovely. While Cheddar is certainly a hunk, his pewter colored hair lends him an older air.

oneofmanysouls - September 3, 2005 06:10 PM (GMT)
She hears them. She hears the shit being talked. She’s biting her tongue though. It wasn’t easy finding movers who would do it at night in the first place. Seems not too many want to be doing this sort of thing in the middle of the night when the creatures of the night are out and about. But they’re being paid well, so they agreed. They’ve begun to dismantle her bed now at this point. She hears a thud and has to turn to walk away before she loses her temper with the clumsy, bad mouthing idiots. She goes into the kitchen and starts going through the cabinets to make sure nothing was forgotten. It’s funny though. She’s never had anything in the cabinets except for Sasha’s stuff.

K-Squared - September 3, 2005 06:14 PM (GMT)
Cheddar goes down the hallway to loom, of his own power no tricks, and opress teh inept bunglers with his presence. It wasn't hard to be a jerk to them after listening to how thye' talked about him being a dirty old man, and how Enyo was one of those freaky bitches. It really made the demon very testy. "Stop damaging the furniture, this is your last warning. " he says darkly.

oneofmanysouls - September 3, 2005 06:19 PM (GMT)
It wasn’t so much the movers ‘freaky bitches’ comment that was pissing her off. She is what she is and accepts that. She’s a creature of the night. Even when well fed, she still has a paleness to her skin that is unnatural. It was them talking about Cheddar in the manner that they are that was pissing her off. That and their being so damn clumsy. But mostly the way they’ve been bad mouthing Cheddar.

Sasha can sense her vampire’s darkening mood and gets up from where she’s been laying. She starts pacing back and forth from Cheddar’s side to Enyo’s side and back again.

K-Squared - September 3, 2005 06:25 PM (GMT)
Cheddar is much more pissed off about Enyo being called a freaky bitch, really, he's the freaky one, so their comments about him, roll right over him. Porn stars have more boring sex lives than the demon. The demon is very protective of Enyo though, and so the comments being made about her, vex him greatly. He really doesn't need to know what the movers wish they could do to her. His expression says so and he blurts. "Could you concentrate less on your sordid thoughts about my girlfriend and pay more attention to your job here?" he practically snarls.

oneofmanysouls - September 3, 2005 06:33 PM (GMT)
Oh yeah. They’re talking about the things they’d like to do with the voluptuous woman. One of them made the comment that he bet he’d be able to bring color to her smooth looking skin. Sick fuckers. As if they’d even stand a chance of getting even the slightest peek of what she has under her long black dress.

There’s nothing in the kitchen. She’s gone through every single one of the cabinets and everything had already been moved out. Now what? She needs to do something with herself before she reaches the point of showing these stupid fucks the wrath of one small pissed off vampire. Sasha is still pacing back and forth between the demon and the vampress.

K-Squared - September 3, 2005 06:37 PM (GMT)
Finally the last piece of the bed is on the truck. Cheddar still stands glowering at the movers. "Well if that's everything, we should lock up and drop off the key. Then we should head to my house so we can be there to kee an eye on these louts." Cheddar says returning to Enyo's side.

oneofmanysouls - September 3, 2005 06:41 PM (GMT)
Imagine the things the movers are probably going to be saying on the way to Cheddar’s large house. Think about it. Older looking guy. Young looking woman with a body like hers. Older guy has a huge ass house. Yeah. I can imagine what they’re going to be saying and such. Sick fuckers.

She feels him come up behind her and turns towards him. “They’re disgusting,” she mutters. Can you hear the venom in her voice? “The quicker they’re done and gone the better.” She pauses and takes a deep breath, letting it out slowly. Then she seems to soften some as she gazes up at him.

“Did you mean that?” she asks. “What you said to those idiots I mean... about your girlfriend...”

K-Squared - September 3, 2005 06:51 PM (GMT)
"Uhm, yeah. Does it bother you that I said, that? I know we haven't really talked about it. " he says. He does a very good job of covering up how nervous he is.

oneofmanysouls - September 3, 2005 06:52 PM (GMT)
She steps closer and puts her arms around him as much as her small self can. Head tilts back to look up at him. “No,” she says softly. “It doesn’t bother me.” Her heart feels like it’s racing and those darn butterflies in her stomach are back again.

K-Squared - September 3, 2005 07:18 PM (GMT)
"We should get going, or they may leave everything out in the driveway." he warns her. he is relieved that he's not overstepped his boundaries, in light of purposely not having defined boundaries of his relationship with her.

oneofmanysouls - September 3, 2005 07:23 PM (GMT)
She nods and turns to leave with him and Sasha. She’s not going to miss this place. Really she’s not. It never was ‘home’ to her. However, she can’t help but feel slightly melancholy at actually leaving it. Silly vampress.

Of course he’s not overstepped his boundaries with her. She’s thrilled that he’s called her his girlfriend. More than she’s letting on even. She locks the door behind them and slides and envelope with the keys in it under the office door downstairs. The building owner and manager already both know she’s moving out.

K-Squared - September 3, 2005 07:28 PM (GMT)
In spite of walking, Cheddar and Enyo arrive at his place before the moving truck. I suppose that mihgt be good, or bad depending on how you look at it. Cheddar goes about unlocking the place and secures the dogs, except for Sasha. He trusts her to behave a bit more.

oneofmanysouls - September 3, 2005 07:30 PM (GMT)
Sasha probably wouldn’t have gone willingly anyway. At least, right now that is. After having picked up on both of them being upset back at the apartment, she’s not wanting to leave either one of their sides at the moment. Enyo stands outside watching for the movers while Cheddar puts the other dogs away. They should have been here by now. Right?

K-Squared - September 3, 2005 07:35 PM (GMT)
They shouls have arrived long before the y actually do. They show up twenty minutes after Enyo and Cheddar arrived. Cheddar is standing in the driveway with Enyo, scowling. He fully expects to hear some line of crap excuse about how they got lost.

oneofmanysouls - September 3, 2005 07:41 PM (GMT)
You’re right about the excuses. However, we all know it’s bullshit. Especially when one of them walks a little too near and Enyo nearly gags at the smell of strong alcohol. Sasha presses herself against the front of Enyo’s legs as another one of the guys walks even more a little too close to the vampress.

K-Squared - September 3, 2005 07:51 PM (GMT)
The demon simply scowled. "Get the furniture moved. You jerk offs." he snapped. He was especially irritated with how close they'd gotten to Enyo. There was just not a good reason for it.

oneofmanysouls - September 3, 2005 07:54 PM (GMT)
“Stupid fucks,” she muttered under her breath and turned to storm away. Sasha trailed closely behind her.

One of the movers paused to ask the demon where he wanted them to put the stuff. His voice obviously slightly slurred cause they’d stopped and had several drinks before finally getting around to showing up here.

K-Squared - September 3, 2005 08:02 PM (GMT)
Cheddar directs them as to which rooms the things will be going into. He follows them and keeps a close eye on them the entire time. It goes off almost without a hitch. Until the movers are leaving and one of them leans conspiratorily to Cheddar to ask, "Man, how did you hook up with her? I would love to hit that, bet she's tight." The demon's hand closed around the mover's throat at that point...........

oneofmanysouls - September 3, 2005 08:09 PM (GMT)
The pissed off vampress had taken Sasha out into the backyard for a while to get away from the bastards that reeked of alcohol. It’s funny though. Smelling alcohol on the demon didn’t bother her. But smelling it coming off of these idiot mortals made her want to vomit. Of course, we can’t let the vampress vomit in front of the mortals now, can we? No. Of course not. Especially not when all she would throw up is pure blood.

Enyo seemed to have picked the wrong time to enter the house again. She’d walked inside just in time to hear the words of the stupid prick to Cheddar. Her eyes flash with something that’s so not a pretty sight in the least. Her gaze goes from the idiot to the hand wrapped around his throat. The vampress seems to glide, yes glide, across the floor to his side. She moves herself to be in front of the demon looking up at him.

Honey don’t...” she whispers to him in a voice that’s so soft and low that the mover would have a hard time hearing her even though he’s right there. Small dainty hand reaches up to touch Cheddar’s arm. “He’s not worth it...

K-Squared - September 3, 2005 11:13 PM (GMT)
The mover presently in Cheddar"s clutches nods his agreement with the Vampire's statement.

Cheddar slowly removed his hand. "Get out!" he snapped at all the movers. "Now! Out!"

"But sir we haven't been paid." One of them stammered.

"Good, sue me! Get out!" the demon snarls.

oneofmanysouls - September 3, 2005 11:27 PM (GMT)
She didn’t have to turn around to know that the mouthy fucker was nodding his head. Vampire senses are wonderful to have. She’s standing directly between the mouthy fucker and Cheddar. Elbow goes backwards and hits him in his lower gut. She couldn’t resist really. Her gaze not once leaves Cheddar’s face and her dainty hand on his arm never budges.

Raised voice cues Sasha. She comes bolting into the room growling and goes to stand beside the pissed off demon. Her hackles are raised and teeth bared. She’s one pissed off puppy cause her people are pissed.

The moving guys may be quite stupid and drunk, but they’re not /that/ stupid to not haul ass out of there. The vampress still hasn’t moved from in front of Cheddar and her dainty hand is still on his arm. There’s fire in her eyes because she’s quite pissed off.

K-Squared - September 3, 2005 11:31 PM (GMT)
"If you ever move again, I believe we'd be better of allowing me to hand carry your furniture one item at a time." At some point the demon had begun drawing on magical energy from nearby sources. His eyes have glowign white pupils where there are none normally. It is very good that the movers left.

oneofmanysouls - September 3, 2005 11:44 PM (GMT)
Her hand that wasn’t on his arm came up to rest on his chest. She took a step closer to him. Her eyes still very much on fire. She was trying to calm down though. “I hope that won’t happen though...” she said before she could stop herself.

Sasha had gone to growl at the front door to make sure the fucktards had left.

K-Squared - September 4, 2005 12:04 AM (GMT)
"Who said I wouldn't be moving too....?" he teased taking a deep breath. "Let the dogs out, I'll deal with the furniture." he says. He goes to the front door to shut it. Then he pulls his duster off to free his wings.

oneofmanysouls - September 4, 2005 12:11 AM (GMT)
She smiles faintly up at him and then nods. She goes to let the dogs out of the room they were in and takes them outside. Sasha only moved from the front door as soon as the demon closed it. She then took off to follow the others outside.

Enyo had gone outside with the dogs. Just before heading outside, she paused at the backdoor and took off her shoes. Once outside, she went down the steps leading off the deck and out into the grass. And sat down. In the grass. She would look like she was watching the dogs playing, but she wasn’t. She was staring off into the distance. Into the night sky. At the stars shining above.

K-Squared - September 4, 2005 12:20 AM (GMT)
The demon spent quite a while setting up her furniture as she wished. It was more than an hour before he joined her.

oneofmanysouls - September 4, 2005 12:24 AM (GMT)
The dogs had played for quite a bit of that time. After a while, Sasha went over to Enyo and laid down beside her putting her head in the vampires lap. A dainty hand reached up to rest on the dogs shoulders. The other dogs had sprawled out in various places. Bart was by the backdoor.

She’s still fuming even after over an hour of those idiots having left. Her eyes still have a deep venomous fire in them even though she’s been trying to make herself calm down. She’s still staring off into the distance when he comes outside. She didn’t hear him come out though.

K-Squared - September 4, 2005 12:31 AM (GMT)
The demon's anger is gone, in a big hot flash. Though if he happens to run into any of those guys, he will remember them, and his grudge. He has a very long memory.

He lowers himself next ot Enyo quietly. Not meaning to, he assumes she can hear him and has noticed him. "Are you alright?" he asks.

oneofmanysouls - September 4, 2005 12:36 AM (GMT)
It takes longer for Enyo’s anger to diminish once it has reached the point it did. Those guys had just better hope that they never run into her on the streets somewhere and try to start anything. She has an eternity to never forget. Back when she had no problem with killing, those were the types of assholes she would draw to herself and do what she did best.

Sasha lifts her head slightly as she hears the demon come outside. It’s only because of that, that the vampress realizes that Cheddar has come outside. She leans against his side after he sits down next to her. “Yeah...” she says. Since she’s still staring out at the night sky, her voice will for sure give away that she’s still quite pissed.

K-Squared - September 4, 2005 12:39 AM (GMT)
"What can I do?"he asks rubbing her back.

oneofmanysouls - September 4, 2005 12:40 AM (GMT)
Her eyes close and she arches her back a little towards his hand as he rubs her back. “That...” she says softly before she sighs. “At one point in time... I wouldn’t have hesitated to kill every one of them....”

K-Squared - September 4, 2005 12:48 AM (GMT)
"Well, I wanted to hut them all, I drew power to do it too." He said stroking her hair. His eyes still have glowing pupils from the energies he harnessed.

oneofmanysouls - September 4, 2005 12:50 AM (GMT)
“I almost couldn’t stop myself...” she says in almost a whisper. “Like a voice... in my head... telling to stop going against my nature...” She shuddered slightly. “It scares me sometimes. Being what I am...”

K-Squared - September 4, 2005 12:52 AM (GMT)
"Has it always been that way?" he asks her softly.
