Casta stood in The Deep Woods,the wind blowing thourgh the trees calming her. Her virbant orange hair was down as usual,blowing slighty from the wind. Her ice blue eyes had a tranquil look. She was dressed in tight jeans that flared at the bottoms,the buttoms tucked slighty into her pink and white sneakers. A white tube top that went down the length of her stomach,expect a small part,where a deep scar could be seen,and as usual she had her leather jacket on.

She stood still,just enjoying the quite and thinking.

It wasn’t very often at all that Ylva wandered through the woods. Why she was today was beyond her. She honestly hated coming here. Deeply hated coming here. Far too many bad memories were linked to this place. Bad memories that she wished would just go away and never return. That was wishful thinking on her part though.

Today she’s wearing black jean shorts that come down to just above her knees and a black tank top. Dark green sneakers are on her feet. Her hair is pulled back in a pony tail.

She’s just walking. Aimlessly. Still trying to figure out why exactly she’s in this place that brings those terrible memories back to her mind.

The slince of the Woods,thourgh Casta into a trance,her mind going thourgh her horrible past.Unconsiously,she touched her stomach,running her fingers over the scar.A reminder of that horrible day.The day she lost her only friend. She snapped out of her trance when she saw someone walking toward her,aimlessly.

Casta tensed, then relaxed slighty seeing it was a woman.For a moment she had feared it was a man.She watched the woman carefully,she walked aimlessly as if lost in her thoughts.

Her sensitive nose picked up that someone else was out there long before her eyes spotted the girl. She continued forward until the girl came into sight. Ylva stopped and just stood there. “Hello,” she said softly. “I’m sorry if I disturbed you. I didn't realize there was anyone else out here.”

Casta looked the girl up and down,finding the woman was no true threat and she relaxed.Shaking her head,she told the woman."No,it's alright.I was just thinking.What about you?" Casta asked,she was being polite,it wasn't like the woman had tried attacking her,but all the same she put on her 'mask'.What the rest of the world saw when they looked at her.

Ylva no threat. I’m pretty sure that she wouldn’t think the same of herself if one were to flat out ask her if she was a threat to society. Being what she is, there is always some sort of threat. Especially since the beast was now able to come out at random. Didn’t matter if it was full moon or not. Didn’t matter if it was night or day. If it wanted out, it would come out. However, Ylva does not go around telling others about the beast that lives inside of her so there is no way that anyone would know.

She shrugged slightly. “Just walking really.”

casta smiled slighty."I'm Casta." No last name. She decided to take a note outta Em's book,giving no last name."Do you like it here? It seems peaceful,though the slince makes you think.Not always good things either."She said the last bit,under her breath,again unconisouly touching her scar.

“Ylva,” she offered her own name. She also gave no last name. It wasn’t something that she just offered right out like that. One can never be too careful of who they are talking to and what they tell them.

“No. I don’t like it here. I haven’t for quite a while.”

"Why's that?" Casta asked,she wasn't being nosy,simply interseted and keeping conversation."I like it here.It's away from everyone,from the troubles of the world.Of your past,in my case. 'And so she stands,in The out of the wood.Quiet and in Peace'."

She shrugged slightly. She wasn’t one to just go around telling people of her past and her troubles. Not complete strangers especially. There was only few, very few, that she would ever talk to about stuff like that.

“I just don’t,” she finally answered in a detached sort of way.

Casta raised a brow at her detached tone. Then again she had been like that only yesterday,till someone broke thourgh the mask. She would still use it for the rest of the world. Just because one person breaks thourgh didn't mean she would let everyone else.

Casta shurrged in an idiffrent manner,turning and walking to a tree,sitting down at it's base.She gave Ylva a look that said 'sit if you'd like'.

Breaking through the wall that Ylva had up around her was not so easy. Just ask anyone who knows her. There is only one in her life that she’s able to open up to fully. And that’s because she loves him with all her heart and soul. Pierce was the only one who really knew what had happened to Ylva and such. She would probably keep it that way for as long as she possibly could even.

Ylva didn’t sit down. “Do you know that these woods aren’t safe for one to wander through alone?”

Casta gave a bark like laugh,it was hollow and empty."So? Lord knows I wouldn't be new to pain and I know how to fight." It was true after what had happened to her, she had learned almost every fighting techine she could and even a few in weapons."If someone wants to fight,their gonna get one." Her tone was nonchalant,but her eyes were cold as she watched the woods.

Ylva merely shook her head. “There are things that lurk in these very woods that could kill you in the blink of an eye. There are things that lurk in these woods that most people don’t even know exist.”

Casta looked up sharply at Ylva."What 'things' she asked." As of yet she wasn't frightened,just interseted. Maybe that was her weakness, not being afraid of things that lurked in the dark, but being afraid of the caresse of someone who cared.

Ylva watched the girls reaction. “Things you only hear about it scary stories told by friends at sleep overs,” was the answer she gave after a few moments.

Casta watched Ylva carefully."Bascailly you mean,things that go bump in the night?" That's it no other reaction.Though her heart had sped up a little and her mind was reeling.

She shook her head slightly. "Things much worse than mere things that go bump in the night. Maybe you should visit the bookstore sometime and read up on the things that are worse than the things that go bump in the night. Especially if you're going to go wandering through woods by yourself. You could so easily fall prey to something before you even know what's going on."

Again Casta's eyes went ice cold."I've fallen victim to many times to allow it to happen again."She said darkly,her past flashing thourgh her mind. She was threw being the victim.

A bit of anger flashed through Ylva's eyes. Frustration as well. "Suit yourself. Don't come crying to me when something you have no clue about comes dashing out of no where. Being attacked by another person is one thing. Being attacked by what lurks in the shadows of the woods both day and night is an entirely different story."

"I really don't give a damn. And I won't come crying." Casta said getting angry herself."If something catches,something I think not even exsisted,then let me deal with it.It's my fault if something happens,because I didn't listen. Trust me,you'll be blame free."

"Suit yourself," she said as she turned and started to walk away. "I'm sure you won't be thinking the same thing when it happens."

" Maybe,maybe not. it truly depends on the sitiuation." Casta calle after her.

Ylva stopped walking and whipped around to look at the girl. There was something almost animalistic in her eyes. "Do you believe in things that go bump in the night?"

Casta stood, looking straight at Ylva,seeing an animalistic glint in her eyes."I don't belive in what I don't see."

Ylva turned around suddenly. Facing away from the girl. "You really do have a lot to learn girl," she stated blandly. The beast within Ylva was laughing (not out loud obviously). It wanted out to play. Ylva was fighting within herself from letting that happen.

"Then teach me." Casta replied imdetialy."You seem to know so much about the things in the night,why not teach me?" She could feel something powerful around them,though she didn't know why or how. But what Casta did know was that it was evil and coming from Ylva.

"Leave," she stated firmly. "Leave now. Right now."

"Why?" Casta asked,stubborn.Although she was indeed inching away slowy. A flash in her mind,passing quickly. Something furry and evil. Casta brought a hand to her head as if in pain.

Not possible at all to get into Ylva’s head. The beast inside of her knows how to block those things. The girl won’t be getting any images of anything to do with Ylva and the beast within her physical body. “Don’t ask questions silly girl. Just go. Now. Before you can’t.”

Casta felt as if she was fighting something,mentally.Something strong. Casta had no idea what was going on,everything was confusing her.Bringing both hands to her head,she turned t and ran,as Ylva said.She didn't see the rock in her path.

Ylva did not bother to turn around to see if the girl had gotten far or not. She forced herself forward. She needed to get out of and away from these wretched woods.

Casta gasped as she stumbled on the rock,falling down.She got up quickly and contuined on.
