Title: Unknown Innocence
Description: -for Arc-

foreverchanging - August 21, 2005 12:30 AM (GMT)
Callie walked down one of the many alley ways to get back to Cecily’s place. She’d grown bored of looking around at the shops while Erik was at work and had visited Charlie the day before. That left nothing much left to do. So here she was walking back to where she was currently staying taking a short cut through an alley that she knew all too well. It wasn’t the first time she’d traveled this path to avoid bumping into people.

The girl wore tight jean pants that had a teddy bear embroidered on it in velvet on the bottom of her left pant leg. A white camisole top was worn and exposed some of the scars on her back, but only a few. Short blonde hair was loose barely touching her shoulders and white flip flops adorned her feet. Skin had become quite tanned with how much time she was spending outdoors lately.

A finger ran along the side of the building next to her as she walked. Callie felt quite comfortable on this path and with the way her luck had been going lately it seemed nothing could go wrong.

Arcane Blood - August 21, 2005 12:45 AM (GMT)
Isn't it the worst when everything is going so well that the cosmos seems to come into the play and mess around with things to balance it out? Logan felt the urge to hit someone and cause them pain, laugh as he watched them bleed. They deserved it, damn happy go lucky people. They shouldn't be so trusting. He was doing them a favor.

Black and white locks of hair fell on either side of his face, framing the innocent-looking heart-shape of it. His piercing blue eyes were watching, looking people over as they passed by him.

Not happy enough. Not pretty enough. Not skinny enough. Not short enough... damn! Where had all his victims gone?

His eyes were not highlighted by any make-up today as it was useless to bring out the eye color more. It was beautiful enough as it was without any aid.

His black colored lips (curtousy of make-up) were set into a blank line as he searched, hands in pockets. All of his jewelry was in and all of it was gold.

His slightly taller lithe frame was hidden by a baggy long-sleeved shirt striped like his shirt and baggy black Goth pants. Chains, buckles, all the sort.

He glanced over (rather leaned over to peek) as he walked down an alleyway. He stopped. Perfect.

A girl. Cute. Peppy. Slim.

Smile. It's your lucky day, Callie.

foreverchanging - August 21, 2005 12:50 AM (GMT)
Callie saw the boy come into view and she offered a smile. ”Hello.” Hand was drawn away from the wall and fell to her side as she turned onto the new street, headed across it and then down another alley way. It was always easier to cut through the city rather than staying on the streets. The girl didn’t even give the boy a second look.

Arcane Blood - August 21, 2005 12:55 AM (GMT)
"Good afternoon." A pleasant smile back. "Or is it evening?" he inquired, taking a slight step to the side, cocking his head. He kept a safe distance from Callie yet stayed within hearing range. It's all about giving space, you know.

"How are you?" Verifying she was as happy as she looked.

Brat.

He followed her like an excited puppy dog.

foreverchanging - August 21, 2005 12:59 AM (GMT)
She looked up at the sky for a moment and calculated where the sun was. ”I believe it’s afternoon and I’m alright today.” The girl turned to look at him and seeing that he was following surprisingly slowed down her pace so he could catch up to her. Stupid mistake, but Callie had long since forgotten the barrier she’d put up between her and men.

Arcane Blood - August 21, 2005 01:04 AM (GMT)
"Just all right?" Hm. A pity. He had wanted to get somebody a bit more happy go-lucky... but if he went back now the chances of him finding anyone were slim to none. His voice or facial expressions didn't show the disappointment. Logan easily hid emotions.

"Doing all right is better than doing bad, I suppose." He leaned against a building. "Doing anything specific out here today?"

foreverchanging - August 21, 2005 01:08 AM (GMT)
She stopped as he leaned against the building. ”I was just doing a bit of window shopping to pass the time. Was heading home just now.” A smile was still upon her face. It had been there more frequent lately than it used to be that was for sure. Of course it was. The abuse had stopped and she was living in a nice house now and had three people she cared about very much.

”What about you?” She had gave his close a once over, but she’d learned not to judge what people wore as Erik used to not wear the nicest of clothes either. His appearance did little to make her cautious which she should have been.

Arcane Blood - August 21, 2005 01:12 AM (GMT)
Logan was here to give her a wake-up call. As aforementioned it was his twisted way of doing her a favor. She should've been more cautious. Oh, this was just too easy...

"Nothing, actually. Just a stranger looking for entertainment."

Logan smiled. There was always that hint of a venemous smirk to that smile, though only those who knew him could tell.

"Say, do you like magic tricks?"

foreverchanging - August 21, 2005 01:15 AM (GMT)
”Depends on what the magic is. I’ve seen a lot.” She shrugged as she said this, but she wasn’t about to turn him down if he wanted to show off a magic trick. Callie wasn’t even sure if this was a real magic ‘trick’ or just one an uninitiated boy was attempting.

”What do you got?” She asked innocently.

Arcane Blood - August 21, 2005 01:23 AM (GMT)
"Have you? Aw, a pity. Then this shouldn't be anything new for you, hm?" He sounded sort of disappointed now. Fake disappointment, but he played it so well. All of this was an act- a play, more specifically, and Callie was an unwilling actor, unbeknownst to her part.

He cocked his head, a trashcan near the opening of an alley beginning to shake a little before lifting off the ground. Just a simple demonstration of his much stronger power.

foreverchanging - August 21, 2005 01:27 AM (GMT)
She watched with interest. Telekinesis was a magic ‘trick’ she had yet to witness. It was quite surprising considering how long she’d been a live. ”That’s cool. No I don’t think I’ve seen that before.” So oblivious.

Arcane Blood - August 21, 2005 01:40 AM (GMT)
The garbage can started to shake as if it were the victim of a massive earthquake. Logan was hardly trying.

"Hm? I expected more of my talent to be here." A shrug. So casual.

She might not have even noticed he stepped to the side and the can was now hurtling after her.

What a bastard.

foreverchanging - August 21, 2005 01:45 AM (GMT)
Indeed she had not seen it as she was turned the opposite way at the moment. She was hit in the side and knocked to the ground, catching most of her fall with the quick reflexes of hands brought to stop her fall. Palms scraped against the surface of the alley way ground and her side was now in pain from being hit.

”What was that for?” It definitely wasn’t the worst thing she’d ever felt before, but just the shock of being hit had dumbfounded and bewildered her.

Arcane Blood - August 21, 2005 01:52 AM (GMT)
"Bad things happen to good people. It's called life."

The can had rolled out into the street now after hitting her and he casually stepped over it. He took several strides toward her, towering over her fallen figure.

"It's all for entertainment. All of it. Never take life seriously, it's all just a bunch of chuckles." So bitter. Had time spent wounded and tired beaten that into him or had that been there all along.

"Surely you jest when you ask what was that for."

He rolled her over onto her back effortlessly with his boot and sat (rather plopped down) on her with a sigh.

"I pity you."

foreverchanging - August 21, 2005 01:58 AM (GMT)
She was still processing what he’d been talking about when all of a sudden she was on her back and he was sitting on top of her. Now that brought back way too many memories that she cared to forget about. Her mother had done this very same thing and automatically the new situation caused her heart to beat faster and breathing to rapidly increase.

”What are you doing? Please leave me alone.” She was pleading with him. What was wrong with him? How could life be so cruel to her.

Arcane Blood - August 21, 2005 06:04 PM (GMT)
"Oh well isn't this new." He yawned. "Can't you come up with anything else to say?" Her pleading wasn't enough. No, that was just a small taste of what he wanted.

"Really. If you want your life so damn badly, at least plead for real."

He straddled her while he talked, driving an elbow in between her shoulderblades.

foreverchanging - August 21, 2005 06:08 PM (GMT)
She was crying by this point. What was wrong with him? She was pleading. Legs started kicking to try and get him off of her. ”Leave me alone!” She screamed louder and hit him in the stomach.

Arcane Blood - August 21, 2005 06:13 PM (GMT)
He winced a little, falling forward ever so slightly. It was more of a swaying of his body than it was him falling over.

"That's better." He brought his invisible hands to her ankles, pulling down on them so her legs would be near stuck to the ground. Or pinned, rather.

foreverchanging - August 21, 2005 06:16 PM (GMT)
Fear ran through her body as she felt her legs suddenly pinned to the ground. Heart was pounding faster at this point. What was happening? How come she couldn’t move her legs? Hands were pushing against his chest to try and get him off of her. She stopped talking as it seemed to only make him like what was going on more.

Arcane Blood - August 21, 2005 06:20 PM (GMT)
"What's the matter? Nobody to love, nobody to come home to? Nobody to save you..." He grabbed her wrists, pinning her upper half to the ground now. He leaned over whispering sweet nothings into her ear. No Erik to save her. Nobody to save her.

He shifted and kissed her.

foreverchanging - August 21, 2005 06:22 PM (GMT)
”I do! They will come so leave me alone!” However she couldn’t hit him now as he now had her front half pinned to the ground. She turned away as he kissed her. When he moved away from kissing her she spit it his face. Something she learned from her mother.

Arcane Blood - August 21, 2005 06:28 PM (GMT)
"I doubt it." He said flatly as he pulled away from the kiss. He raised an eyebrow, blinking as he was spit at. "Oh, you're a bitch." He let go of her arms to slap her across the face.

foreverchanging - August 21, 2005 08:07 PM (GMT)
A bitch? What was that? Whatever it was she was pretty sure she wasn’t one though. The slap across the face stung, but it definitely wasn’t the worst she’d ever felt on her face. She closed her eyes, not wanting to see him anymore.

Arcane Blood - August 21, 2005 08:46 PM (GMT)
She'd lived almost two-hundred and fifty years and didn't know what a bitch was? That would have intrigued Logan to know.

"What? No more pleading? How disappointing."

He closed his eyes for a brief moment, creating infamous jaws again. But they were... different? He'd also mentally chained her to the ground and the invisible hands disappeared.

Cruncchhhhhh went several ribs.

foreverchanging - August 21, 2005 08:49 PM (GMT)
The crunching of ribs immediately released a blood curdling scream from her mouth. In fact it didn’t even sound human but more birdlike than anything. This kind of pain was new to her.

”Please! Please stop!” More tears were streaming down her cheeks making the glisten when stray sun rays hit them.

Arcane Blood - August 21, 2005 09:05 PM (GMT)
Logan didn't even wince when she screamed. He had become accustomed to people screaming loudly ever since Cassie. It didn't phaze him in the least.

"No." Dead and cold, sharp with authority. His tone was as icy as his eyes.

He pulled out a knife that was resting against his hip underneath his pants and began carving things into her skin, tearing her shirt into useless bits of material.

foreverchanging - August 21, 2005 09:10 PM (GMT)
Crying continued with the cutting of her skin. It was nowhere near as painful as having actual slices of skin cut away, but it was still painful nonetheless and caused her to scream more. Hands wanted to push him away but somehow were unable to move. Hazel eyes looked up at the sky hoping it would all end soon, but for some reason it felt like it would go on forever.

”Please…” Her voice was quiet and high pitched still trying to plead with him to stop. She could feel blood falling freely down her side and to the ground from where he was carving in her skin.

”Somebody? Anybody?” She’s turned to trying to yell at people walking on the street a little ways away from where she was being tortured.

Arcane Blood - August 21, 2005 09:16 PM (GMT)
Nobody answered. Nobody ever answers, because nobody ever cares. What doesn't affect them is a useless and unimportant matter. Reality's a bitch.

"So? I'm right, am I not? Nobody's helped so far. Scream louder, it won't help." He began tearing off her clothes, her only covering staring with her shirt, slowly carving his name into her chest. That would scar.

foreverchanging - August 21, 2005 09:21 PM (GMT)
She felt like she was about to hyperventilate when her shirt was torn away and he began carving into her chest. Once again she screamed. Why wasn’t anybody helping her? Is the world really as cruel as her mother warned her it to be? She stopped screaming for help as it truly wasn’t helping at all. That feeling of wanting to give up was rushing back into her head the same way it had in the little shack out in the middle of nowhere.

”Why are you doing this?” It came out high pitched and barely audible.

Arcane Blood - August 21, 2005 09:27 PM (GMT)
"A question so many ask." He sounded so calm. This act was so practiced and even over the screaming he was so dreadfully calm. "I'm doing it because I hate you. You and your shitty, fucked up world. I'm doing this because you're a part of the thing that has hurt me and many others. And you're doing to die."

He carved something rather deliberately and quickly onto her face. The Chinese symbols for the word 'hate'. That might scar too.

foreverchanging - August 21, 2005 09:30 PM (GMT)
She bit back the scream that wanted to be released as he started carving on her face. Die? She didn’t want to die, but if it was going to end the pain she might as well. But then Erik and Charlie would be left behind.

”I didn’t do anything to you though. Somebody else did and I’m sorry that you hate everyone because of it.” She actually pitied the boy now even through her bleeding and naked chest.

Arcane Blood - August 21, 2005 09:34 PM (GMT)
"You don't get it." He shook his head, shifting the knife and ripping through flesh and muscle as if it were butter, slicing through her stomach. "You just don't get it. You're one of the people in this world. You're here and it's your damned fault for everything that's happened. I'm not guilty at all for doing this." He twisted the knife between her broken ribs.

foreverchanging - August 21, 2005 09:37 PM (GMT)
Now this pain was definitely worse than the sliced skin. Eyes went wide as he stuck the knife and twisted it between her ribs. More tears were falling and instead of screaming she seemed to have gone into a state of shock. She wasn’t sure what he was talking about, all she knew was that a knife was stuck in her and it hurt more than anything she’d ever felt before. Callie felt completely helpless at this point.

Arcane Blood - August 21, 2005 09:46 PM (GMT)
He pulled the knife out of her upper half and stuck it straight through her hand through skin, muscle, and bone. Then his haand went back into his pants, pulling out yet another knife. He laid between her breasts and stuck it through her other hand. Then he kissed her again, clothes soaked with blood as it did so.

foreverchanging - August 21, 2005 09:54 PM (GMT)
She screamed again as she felt the knives plunge through her skin. Heart raced faster as he lay down on top of her, eyes growing wide as he kissed her. She wanted to push him off to make him go away, but she couldn’t with the constraints of his magic ‘trick’. Head pulled away from his kiss and she closed her eyes wishing he would go away.

Arcane Blood - August 22, 2005 06:37 PM (GMT)
"You're so feisty." he breathed, a cruel smirk of the wicked twisting his lips. The smirk was inhuman, rather nasty and wolfish. Not trying to kiss her again he turned his head with her, this time dragging his tongue along the wound he'd made on her left cheek.

Oh, how sweet was the taste of iron.

foreverchanging - August 22, 2005 06:41 PM (GMT)
She felt like throwing up when he licked her cheek. It was quite unbearable and she wanted to do nothing more than spit in his face again, but withdrew the idea. The last thing she wanted to do was turn into the person her mother ended up being and she was starting to act like that the more she struggled. So the girl went limp and stopped struggling.

”Please leave. You’ve done enough.” She attempted to plead again in a soft whispery voice.

Arcane Blood - August 22, 2005 07:37 PM (GMT)
"Who're you to say when I have done enough? Who are you to command me, bitch? Who are you to say whether you live or not?" By now his tone was sharp and bitter as he pulled away from licking her, blood and saliva trailing down from his lip.

"You mean nothing! You are nothing!"

He pulled out the knife from her left hand and began cutting away at her pants.

foreverchanging - August 22, 2005 07:40 PM (GMT)
The words made her cry even more but her eyes went wide with fear when he took the knife and started cutting her pants. She wanted to hit him and make him leave, to just leave her alone.

”No! Please no!” This was what Charlie had warned her about and it was making her breath more rapidly, heart pounding erratically from the fear of what was happening.

Erik! She screamed in her head praying against all odds that he might hear, but that doubt that nobody was coming was still looming deeply in the back of her mind.

Arcane Blood - August 22, 2005 07:54 PM (GMT)
He broke the zipper on her pants and continued to slice at the fabric until it easily slid off.

"This is what you get for talking to strangers."

His smirk returned.

"Want to see a magic trick?"

(Curtain call?)
