Title: Having a drink.
Description: OPEN
Aaron Fagan - June 8, 2005 06:33 PM (GMT)
The atmosphere was typical of the low-class, dimmed-light bar and so were the people just sitting around having drinks; some were just cheap shmoes having a drink after work, while others were looking for a hot date or a cheap thrill - or both. Still others were looking for a fix, or hitting up the regulars for cash or a cigarette. But they all had two things in common - they were human, and they couldn't stand the heat.
As Aaron stepped into the bar and looked around, he wondered what kind of people these must be to hang in a place like this; it was perfect for someone running or hiding from the law, but half these people looked like they'd seen better days. He shook his head; they were all a bunch of idiots. They had no idea that someone who could easily burn them all alive in minutes without a second thought; poor shmucks.
He sits down at the bar and throws a couple of ones down on the counter. "Double Vodka, on the rocks." He downed it in one drop and demanded another; downing this one, too, he turned and watched the slowly growing crowd. Half of them were already drunk, and the other half couldn't hold more than a few drinks; as he watched them, smirking, he wondered what there was to do in this town. He turned when he heard the news come onto the small TV a ceiling corner of the bar.
"And on the waterfront tonight, four cops are dead from a service pistol taken off of one of the officers during an attempted car-jacking; the patrol car has not been found, but it is believed to have been driven into the river after the ensuing incident. John Thames, our on-site investigative reporter, has more...
He stopped listening and shook his head; the guy shouldn't have interefered. At least he'd gotten the information he needed; this time around, however, he figured he'd stick around. This city looked pretty good, and easy enough to hide in, so why worry?

"Damn drunks..."
A long haired brunette made her pressence in the not so quiet bar. She had just narrowly miss getting thrown up on outside, and wasn't too happy about it. Her dark eyes gazed across the idiots in the room and she decided to sit by herself. She ordered a vodka, needing something to numb her headache a bit. It didn't do much so she decided to watch some tv...trying to ignore this strange smell of gun powder. There was some cheesy looking reporter at the scene of some crime...Some officer's were murdered. She kinda shrudged it off. There were too many other things to worry about than some reckless 50.
She rubbed her nose...the smell and alcohol and vomit messing withher senses. Her eyes then gazed down the bar at the strange man. The gun powder smell was from him...

Pyro's keen eye scanned the bar, looking for something to burn that he would actually enjoy watching; there were too many drunks around, and the bodied would burn too fast for his tastes due to the alcohol inside them. His keen eye, however, also picked up someone looking at him from his peripheral vision; he was being watched. Just to shake things up a bit, he looked over at the girl...

Soon she found herself being looked at aswell and just as soon as it happened she wish it wouldn't have. The bells were ringing already telling her that this wasn't the average mortal. She didn't know what made him so special, but he seemed way off the mold for normal. She smirked slightly. 'Suicidal vampires....now this...?' she thought. The night got better by the minute. 'Just the twist I needed...'
"You don't seem like you're from around here. Usually all the guys are drunk by this time," she said. Yea she was looking for trouble...though the questio n was, would she get it

Pyro smirked. "I hold my liqour pretty well." He watched her for a moment; she didn't seem like the type to hang around in bars, but there was something else about her that made her totally different. He couldn't place it, but he knew this wasn't the average girl out looking for a hot date or a good time.

((OOC: Sorry about the wait...I'm on whenever I can get on...))
She could already see where this might be going. She couldn't tell if he was flirting or not. She couldn't tell if he was flirting with her or starting a wager. She shook her head; the more she hung around mortals the more she loved toying with them...
"I'm assuming your either here to drink for fun or to forget something...tell me if I'm getting close."
Aaron Fagan - June 19, 2005 01:10 AM (GMT)
((No problemo, senorita - I've had longer waits; I was just curious what the deal was. :) ))
His smirk broadened slightly as he turned his full body toward her, making the conversation more of a conversation and less of an idle chat with a strange woman. "Oh, you're definitely getting warm..." His smirk faded "But I don't know this city, and I sure as hell don't know you. So, the question is, why were you watching me?"
Kiaeda - June 19, 2005 06:33 PM (GMT)
Kia knew he was right and she didn’t have any right watching like she had. He reeked trouble. “You just seem to be a one of those bad boys I always hear about. Starting fights and such. Just interests me is all.” Her gray eyes gazed over at him as she smiled. He had no idea who she was alright, or what she was for that matter. That was what was so fun about this game…
Aaron Fagan - June 19, 2005 08:09 PM (GMT)
"Oh, I don't start fights - I just finish them. Actually, starting fires is more my style - what's yours?" He studied her with his peripheral vision; though not necessarily muscular, she certainly seemed to be the athletic type. Or maybe she just had good muscle tone. Either way, she was still a mystery to him.
Kiaeda - June 19, 2005 10:40 PM (GMT)
'Aha! I was right' she thought. He had an ashy kind of smell to him-masculine to say the least. Though she must be intriguing enough that he would talk to a goth girl such as herself. She was in her usual disaray of chains and leather; clad in black with her tank and baggy pants. She was wild like that. SOme guys would find that overly kinky or overly odd.
She realized that he had asked her a question. What was her style? She turned toward him, legs crossed and said, " Well, I like being a little fiesty and on edge...being a bit wild even..." Wild had a bit of a growl to it. She laughed to herself, "Though you've probably met millions of girls who have said the same thing..."
She wondered if he caught the hints yet.
Aaron Fagan - June 20, 2005 12:19 AM (GMT)
She was hinting at something, but Pyro hadn't yet guessed what it was; he had only one thing on his mind. He let his eyes wander to the outline of her firm breasts, then up to her lips - and, finally, back to her eyes. "Indeed. Tell you what - why don't you show me around town, and then we can head up to my place? What do you say?" He smirked; he was flirting with her, trying to get her into bed - his bed - that much should have been obvious. If it wasn't, then this girl wasn't too bright...
Kiaeda - June 20, 2005 12:38 AM (GMT)
She could already tell that his mind was pretty much one tracked when it came to girls…that was a definite. Not that the offer didn’t interest her….she casually noticed him sneaking a peak at her nice package. She thought it over a bit, giving him some time to drool a bit longer and said, “Don’t see why I can’t show the knew guy around…” ‘This will be fun…’ she thought as she hopped off her stool, wondering if they should just skip the inbetween all together...
Aaron Fagan - June 20, 2005 04:48 AM (GMT)
He stood with her, motioning for her to lead the way; well, this was certainly going to be fun - and then he was going to have some fun of his own. What did he have to lose? He was smooth, cool, charming...and not only would he learn a bit more about the city in which he'd now planned to stay in for a while, he'd be gettin' some, too.
((What now? B) ))
