Title: Sex crazed bunnies
Description: ~For Ze Ran-meister

The wind was picking up again and he had to use a bit of constraint not to fly away with it. He was, after all, in a public place. It wouldn't do for people to be freaking out over him, it would cause a lot of unwanted stress. Besides, it would leave one of his favorite shirts behind(the button down one with the hawaii patterns on it. It looked nicely out of place).

Branwen was in a sort of slump. He recently required a boyfriend and the brand new knowledge that he might not be as straight as he previously thought. He also, in the past week or so, hadn't had a lot of time to speak with his sister, a big part of his life.

So why was he at the fairgrounds when his time was probably better spent with one of the people previously mentioned? Because he won some tickets off the radio that were only good for today and neither of his two special people could make it. So he sold the other two for a jacked up price. No use in letting the others go to waste.

So far there was nothing that seemed very interesting at all, but he hadn't seen it all yet. He saw that there was going to be a magic show later, maybe it'd be worth something.

Ran - March 30, 2005 01:41 AM (GMT)
Danie came strolling about, the resident magic man. He really loved picking out people first to tease. Truly, it was a hobby. A grand one at that. Well, so, the blonde man had his hands in black slacks, walking around aimlessly with a white dress shirt half undone. No way would he keep around, all tidy.

Well! This looked interesting. That was quite a bright shirt. Golden eyes glittered as ideas popped through his head and he slipped through the crowds, trailing that boy here. He wondered what was so special about this kid? Probably his shirt. Well, still, he looked like he could be extremely fun to tease.

Walking up, he slipped his arms around his waist, grinning, mumbling his ear. "Hello, hello. Any interesting news today for me?"

Yeah, that was mean, but he loved to get a reaction. Plus, there was no way anyone would NOT react to this. He just had to. "Mm, any? Hm? Hm?" Each time he went 'hm', he went up on his toes a little bit, urging for an answer, his grin just getting a little bit bigger each time.

Renata - March 30, 2005 01:52 AM (GMT)
Branwen stopped looking around the crowd when he felt someone sidle up next to him. When he felt an arm go around his waist, you might even say he went rigid. You could even surmise that with every inch Daniel took out of the space between them, just a little more of Bran's hair stand on end.

"Go away!" he spoke in a very small voice that just leaked insecurity and nervousness.

Was that the interesting news Dan was looking for? Bran reeeeaaaally hoped so.

Ran - March 30, 2005 01:54 AM (GMT)
He leaned over, nuzzling his neck. "You seem so.. ruffled. Here, have a bunny." And a little baby bunny popped up on his hand and he pressed it to Bran's chest. "You seem so twitchy. Missing a boyfriend? Missing sex? Missing an arm?" He laughed, clearly enjoying himself and teasing Bran.

"By the way, My name's Daniel, and your's?"

Renata - March 30, 2005 02:01 AM (GMT)
Missing an arm? What the hell? No, he wasn't missing an arm. He even checked. Nope. One on the left, one on the right. And if that had any sort of sexual connotation you can be sure that Bran didn't catch it.

And yes. He was missing his boyfriend. The other guy didn't need to know that, though. Oh, excuse me, Daniel, as he had now been introduced, didn't need to know that.

He was unconciously holding the baby bunny very tenderly, but very roughly trying to get away from a very scary (possibly insane) person. He had to be, by Bran's logic. He was hitting on him.

Ran - March 30, 2005 02:07 AM (GMT)
"Leaving so fast? Where are you going? Come back!" And he followed him, grinning. "So, a stud like you, where's your boyfriend, hm?" He said boyfriend just to get a rile out of Bran, but hey, he never knew that he might actually be right. "Tucked away in the office, right?" Grinning, he followed after him.

Renata - March 30, 2005 02:13 AM (GMT)
"How would you know?" and how would Bran know? Sure, he knew that Audrey was in advertising but he didn't know what he did all day.

He looked to the left, then to the right. Ah-ha! He could lose him in one of the food tents! He slipped under the tarp of one and inadvertantly landed himself in the middle of the "backstage" of the magic tent.

He didn't know it, of course. He did know that a show was going to begin in one or two minutes, though. But then it dawned on him. So he hid in one of the many brightly colored boxes.

Ran - March 30, 2005 03:01 AM (GMT)
Well, lucky for him, that's what Daniel will be using. He came around, looking, tapping on things before he slipped back onto the stage, congratulating his wonderful crowd for finding him. Oh, for his first act, why not start with a classic? The swords in the box. The very box Bran was in.

Hefted up, he came to the box and opened it up for the crowd and they gasped.

..What?

He said that too. Looking inside, his eyebrows shot up. That boy. "Well! You see my assistant here. He'll be helping me!"

Renata - March 30, 2005 09:48 PM (GMT)
For a second, he was stunned. One moment it was dark and silent and the next there's a collective gasp and flood of light. And then that face. Wasn't hiding normally supposed to work?!

Oh no. And now Bran had to go along with it all. He was in front of a crowd(he hated crowds) and in a magic act. This day was supposed to be spent having fun at a fair. This day was supposed to be relaxing. Now he had to cooperate with someone whom he'd just been running from.

It also didn't help that his first instinct was to transform and fly away. Thankfully, the group of said people prevented him from doing so.

Ran - March 31, 2005 01:13 AM (GMT)
"So, lovely assistance, are you prepared be skewed by many swords?" He raised his eyebrows. It would be all a trick. That box was bigger than it looked. There was a special place in the box indicated once he got inside that Bran would sit at and have the swords go around and not hurt him what so ever.

Picking a sword up, he laughed, tapping the box. "My crowd, he'll get in." Leaning forward as if he was to pull the box closer, he mumbled Bran the instructions where to go so he wouldn't become chop suey.

Renata - April 4, 2005 03:45 AM (GMT)
Trick or not didn't change any of Bran's views on the whole thing. He was still nervous in front of the crowd and even moreso in front of the person sharing the stage. It was a bad place to be in the first place, but what can you do? Nothing that would get him out of it, that's for sure.

So he dutifully climbed into said box, waited for the lid to be closed and then sat scrunched in his special compartment. He desperately hoped that this was the only thing he was required to do. Let's hope it doesn't come to doing the entire magic show.

Ran - April 17, 2005 06:32 AM (GMT)
Danie went through the act. He put in the swords, showed the crowd that Bran looked like he was being shoved full of metal when he wasn't, and then pulled the swords out. "Now, for the disappearing act of my lovely assistant!"

Leaning closer, he whispered in his ear in an affectionate way to bug Bran, "Now, when the box stops moving, go out the back. Just go straight. The curtain'll be open for you and hiding you." And then he'll use his bunny power to summon one up in his place.

Oh, and for Bran's luck, laughing could be heard in his head. Obviously, Audrey had gotten a lunch break and was enjoying the show.

Renata - April 18, 2005 04:16 AM (GMT)
Oh no. This was just wonderful. Not only was he being humiliated in front of an entire crowd of people, but his boyfriend was there too. Oh he was never going to hear the end of it.

Shut up, Audrey, this isn't funny! Of course Audrey wouldn't agree at all, but Branwen felt that it was worth a shot.

He stiffened when Daniel whipered into his ear. There was only one person allowed to do that and he was actually watching. But he was sorely tempted to just stand in the box and blow the entire act but he was also completely aware that a certain someone would not be happy with him in the least if that were to happen. So, grudgingly, he did as he was told.

Oh the things he did for love.

Ran - April 18, 2005 08:16 PM (GMT)
Daniel did as he said he would and he gave Bran that opportunity to escape safely while he wooed and talked with the crowd. After all, Bran was so expert at this. He'd have to have more time to get out of there. Dan just hoped that he'd be out of their sometime sooner than later.

On the other hand, Audrey was having a splendid time. '[i]But it's great! I love this show. Who knew while looking for my boyfriend that I find him not in the crowd, but on stage? And I have an inkling that somehow you accidentally got there too.[i]'

Renata - April 18, 2005 08:48 PM (GMT)
By now Bran was standing back stage as he'd been directed and waiting for further instructions.

'Damn right it was an accident. The little bastard came onto me and when I was running away I hid in his stupid little 'magic chest.' Did the board thing say how long the show's going to be?'

The sense's equivalent to Bran's voice would be slightly whining with a hint of anger. It was clear that he didn't want to be here much longer and he was seriously considering leaving. Screw the guy's magic show, he wanted to go home.

Ran - April 19, 2005 09:54 PM (GMT)
'It says two hours, but I'm sure he had other assistants to help him. You could probably leave, but I don't see why. You don't want to go into the boxers where they have your feet up top and head at the bottom?' Audrey couldn't help it, he found it amusing while he heard Bran and watched Daniel pull out rabbits and declare that Bran disappeared somewhere else and that was the end of him.

Renata - April 19, 2005 10:10 PM (GMT)
Oh, yes! He didn't have to go out there anymore and be hit on by some stranger. Life was looking up.

Should I meet you outside the tent? ...how do I get out of here...

Finally, now he could spend the day like he wanted to.

Ran - April 21, 2005 03:19 AM (GMT)
'I dunno where you could go. Maybe way around the back and make a wide arc? I'll try to find you, or I could pick a few minds and try to find my way around to you. Whatever works.' Funny thing is, Audrey was still sniggering. he had found the whole magic show hilarious.

Renata - April 21, 2005 03:25 AM (GMT)
So he did as suggested, dodging people and props in the tent. A few of them were a few scantly clad female assistants for various shows and of course he flirted slightly. Yeah he had a boyfriend but was still mostly hetero. After all, old habits die hard. No pun intended.

Branwen stood outside of the tent, scanning the crowd for a white head of hair.

Aaauuudreeeey, where aaaaare youuuu?

Ran - April 21, 2005 08:48 PM (GMT)
Audrey popped from behind Bran, trying to glomp him, but all he managed to do was hop up and get his arms around his neck from behind, hanging down and possibly choking. "Right here." His voice held a large grin. "I was just reminisicing about your lovely performance and also watching you flirt with the girl in a corset."

Renata - April 25, 2005 05:58 PM (GMT)
After he regained his balance from being dragged to the ground, he gave Audrey a small hug(not too big on PDA) and had the decency to be embarrased.

"Oh, well.." he coughed, looking around and trying to cover. It didn't really work.

"Sorry?"

Oh Bran, what is Audrey going to do with you?

Ran - April 25, 2005 09:59 PM (GMT)
Audrey wiggled his eyebrows, still grinning. "You should have asked for her phone number." Though he choked light heartedly, if Bran had actually ever done that, he would have an angsty, jealous telepath on his hands.

Drat. He forgot about his PDA shy behavior. Audrey was naturally a touchy-feely kind of person so he had a hard time coping. Or at least remembering. "Sorry's fine. I'll pay you back with whipped cream in a can in our next escapade." Almost grabbing his whole hand, Audrey settled by patching pinky to pinky and dragging Bran away from the main part of the crowd.

"Sorry Bran I had to drag you, it's noisy there." Not so much the actual talking, but the multitude of voices was making him a little dizzy today.

Renata - April 25, 2005 11:34 PM (GMT)
"No," he joked, too, "if I had done that, there wouldn't be enough excedrin to help her."

Bran wasn't shy because it was Audrey, and he felt bad for it, but the fact that they were 'dating.' If they'd been regular old friends or even siblings like he and Ea, Bran would have no problem jumping on Audrey to give him a hug. But as things were, dating meant that a hug would most likely lead to kissing and that wasn't something he wanted other people seeing.

His eyes narrowed dangerously(or not, depending on your standpoint. They probably weren't dangerous to Audrey, only cute), "You do and I'll buy a gallon of peanut butter and put it between your sheets." It was an empty threat, of course, but still merited.

The cause to Audrey's adversion to people was clear and Bran smoothed a hand through his boyfriend's hair.

"S'alright. You want to go somewhere instead or do you want to spend all your money on tickets and overpriced food?"

Ran - April 26, 2005 03:33 AM (GMT)
"I could vouch for the excedrin thing." He grinned , enjoying his joke with Bran. Well, he was til he heard about peanut butter. "Nah uh. You can't. I'll die. It'll trap my mouth shut and I won't breathe. It'll get between my toes. I'LL BE CEMENTED IN PEANUT BUTTER!" He took a deep breath, cracking into a grin when he saw Bran's 'narrowed' eyes. "Whipped cream it is."

"Feels good." The hand-hair thing. Audrey was a sucker. "Well, can we do half and half? Get some greasy, very unhealthy food, a few tickets to have fun with, and then maybe some alone time? Oh, by the way, guy in the green shirt behind you thinks you were a good assistant for the magic man."

Renata - April 26, 2005 08:16 PM (GMT)
"No! No whipped cream!" So he might not be as violently effected by it as Audrey was peanut butter, but it wasn't something he enjoyed.

"Umm, thanks?" It wasn't like he'd planned to take part in the performance...

There was a ticket booth a little ways away, so they made their way through the nearly strangling crowd to buy some. Well, Bran bought them. His excuse was that Audrey was too short to reach the counter.

Ran - April 27, 2005 02:23 AM (GMT)
Audrey wasn't too short! He could see. Er, well, a little bit. He could have hopped and bought them. Either way, he was happy Bran got them. It was mean of the carnival people to put the boothes up so high. How did they ever expect him to reach it? 'You deserve a kiss for that later.'

After giving a final glare at the ticket counter, he turned his back on it, looking at the rides, grinning. "Carnival rides, the thrill is that they might break on you at any second."

Renata - April 27, 2005 08:56 PM (GMT)
"Yeah, right before plunging us at a hundred miles an hour to our imminent and fiery doom..." his line of sight was directed at the Ferris Wheel. He'd never liked them much, they always seemed so unstable and tall and able to be knocked over by any wind that happened to be present. It wasn't nearly as secure as flying on his own two wings.

But if Audrey was willing to throw in another kiss or two into the deal, he may be persuaded to get on it.

Ran - April 27, 2005 09:14 PM (GMT)
Audrey's eyebrows shot up. "You don't like ferris wheels when you can fly?" He just found that a little weird. Oh well, that was his lover and he sure was a quirky one. For a quick trick, he poked Bran's bum, a grin spreading over his face. "Done deal, you might even get more if you'll go on the tilt-a-whirl thing with me."

Renata - April 27, 2005 09:21 PM (GMT)
Bran jumped a couple of inches in the air when his buttocks was poked. It wasn't something he was used to, by any means. "Jeez, Audrey, at least warn me before you do something like that."

His eyes wandered over to the tilt-a-wheel and got even larger. It was rolling, it was spinning and it was making some awefully insecure sounds.

"Wouldn't you rather go on that centerfuge thing?"

Ran - April 27, 2005 10:38 PM (GMT)
"Er, I actually would like the tilt-a-whirl thing, but if you really aren't comfortable with it, we can go on the other thing." He was being an honest person. Oh, he was having fun too. Wewll, fun being honest and teasing Bran. Looping a finger on one of Bran's belt loops, he tugged, pointing at some other spinny ride. "How's that one?"

Renata - April 28, 2005 02:38 AM (GMT)
'That one' was definately no better than the tilt-a-whirl. In fact, I think Bran would prefer the tilt-a-whirl.

"N-no, we can to the tilt-a-doom if you like..." of course, he wasn't exactly dancing in anticipation. He took hold of Audrey's hand and tugged him towards the death trap and away from certain-death.

'You'll just have to help me through it, right?'

One of the best things about their relationship was how easy it was to communicate. There isn't much standing in the way when you're partially connected to a telepath.

Ran - April 28, 2005 10:16 AM (GMT)
'I will, Magical-man. But what's so bad with the other ride? It looked safer to me.'

Then again, Audrey's perception was different than Bran's. He shrugged, giving his hand a squeeze as he followed him to the 'tilt-a-doom'. "It's not so bad. We could pick one of the carts that doesn't spin as much, we just might go in a wide circle instead of wide circles and spinny little circles."

Renata - May 2, 2005 09:33 PM (GMT)
'It might have been safer, but I doubt it would have spun less..'

"But doesn't-" he was going to ask if that meant that it hadn't been oiled in a while. That would mean that it was less safe. But then he decided that if he was going to not enjoy the experience less than he normally would have, it would be better to not voice his fears and make them greater.

"Nevermind," and they got in line. It was a good thing that it wasn't long. Or was it?

"So..where'd this fascination with carnival rides come from?"

Ran - May 2, 2005 09:47 PM (GMT)
Audrey spared him a glance as he shut his mouth. Shrugging, Audrey leaned against the flimsey railing they had along the ramp onto the ride. "Dunno, they're spinny and fun. I always liked making mine go so fast that I'd be dizzy and my brain was like scrambled eggs. Though, I'll settle for a non-scrambley egged brain. Maybe it's a mild rush of adrenaline without actually doing something all that dangerous.

"Never had fun with ferris wheels though. I get paranoid on those. Tall. Rocky. Ergh. Never a good mix. Plus, so many other people are paranoid and it's like a pool of paranoid feelings."

Renata - May 2, 2005 09:59 PM (GMT)
The line advanced and the 'technician' let them through, taking their tickets and directing them to a seat. there was a bar put in front of them and a buckle connected. That was it. Safe? Could they really get away with safety like that? Bran wasn't always so sure..

"Ok. So...we're going to move soon?" there was a small smile sent to Audrey and a squeeze of his hand. It'll be over soon, it'll be over soon...

Ran - May 4, 2005 08:28 PM (GMT)
Audrey looked around quickly and decided that no one could see them where they were and he leaned over, giving Bran a brief kiss. "We'll be fine. If we're not, I'll eat my own foot. And trap myself in some skitzo's brain." And probably what Bran feared, they did start to move. It was slow and a little jerky at first, but it soon started to pick up speed.

Renata - May 5, 2005 12:51 AM (GMT)
"No no no, don't do that. Then who would stop me from drowning myself in peanut butter?" He smiled at Audrey, maybe the ride wouldn't be so bad after all.

When he heard the whirr of machinery, though, Bran closed his eyes and held onto the safety-rail in front of them. There was just something about not being able to control where he was going that set him off a bit. Perhaps if he just closed his eyes and enjoyed the feel of the tilt-of-doom it would be ok.

Ran - May 5, 2005 12:56 AM (GMT)
Oh dear. Audrey would have enjoyed the ride, but it seems that it started to go -really- spinny. They obviously weren't directed to one that spun a little. Oh no, they were directed to the one that it spun so fast you were trapped against the wall. Scooting (as much as one could through the force of momentum) over to Bran, he apologized, rubbing his arm, looking at Bran's knuckles that were clearly white.

"It won't be too long."

Renata - May 5, 2005 01:06 AM (GMT)
Right. Of course it wouldn't be too long. These things never lasted more than a minute or two, right? He couldn't remember, had there been a line behind him? If there wasn't, they might be in for a longer ride than they originally thought.

All the rocking and the spinning and the things using Bran's stomach as a trampoline were making him feel a bit uneasy.

He also feared that if he opened his mouth, he wouldn't be able to get it closed again and all sorts of things would be flying in and out of it.

'You sure? We won't.' their cab took a great spinning turn, be stuck here or something?'

Ran - May 5, 2005 01:38 AM (GMT)
"I'm positive. You'll be okay." He tried to soothe Bran, but Bran was really.. not well. He was even turning green. "It'll be over soon." And to be the nice boyfriend that he is, he tweaked the person that was controlling the ride to shut down the ride earlier so that he could get Bran off.
