Tino stormed into the Dark club. He was in quite a foul mood tonight. He was sporting yet another new bruise on his face. The one on his left cheek was fading and yellowish in color. The new one was turning dark rather quickly and covers his entire right eye. He’d gotten socked pretty hard from the looks of it. His knuckles on his right hand were cracked and bloody. His bottom lip was swollen and a bit bloody still. He hadn’t stopped at home to clean up before coming here. He didn’t care what his appearance was. He wasn’t out to impress anyone in the least.
The events leading up to Tino coming to the Dark club are of course still quite fresh in his mind. Some little punk had looked at him wrong and Tino taught the punk a thing or two. Beat the holy hell out of the brat that thought he was oh so cool. Tino had done quite a number on the punk. Left him in a crumpled heap in some dumpster. Tino didn’t know if the kid was still alive or not and quite frankly he didn’t give a damn either.
Tonight Tino is wearing tight black jeans and an even tighter black t-shirt. There is no design or anything on the shirt. His hair is finally slowly starting to grow back from having been shaved at military school. It’s now an inch long all over his head. He’s trying to get it to grow completely back out because he prefers to keep his hair long. He’s not wearing his leather jacket tonight like he usually does. He doesn’t even have it with him. As a result you can clearly see his muscular arms. His chest muscles ripple with every movement he makes. Tino is quite the looker and handsome as hell.
“Gimme a vodka on the rocks,” he barks at the bartender. “And make it snappy.”
“You got ID kid?”
“Of course I do. Would I be ordering a drink if I wasn’t old enough?” Tino reached into his back pocket and pulled out the ID he had made some months ago. It showed that he was 22 even though he’s really only 19. “There. See. 22. Now get me that drink buddy.” It’s quite clear from Tino’s voice that he’s irritated.
“Comin right up.” The bartender walked away a bit and poured Tino’s drink. Then he returned to the bar. “Three fifty.”
Tino pulled a five dollar bill from his front pocket and tossed it onto the bar counter. “Keep the change. I don’t need it.” He grabbed his drink off the counter and strut over to a table in the far corner of the place. It was fairly dark in the corner which was just fine with him. It made it easier to watch people from where he was. His bright blue eyes scanned the entire place. Perhaps he was looking for his next victim...

Liberty sat at the counter, staring blandly around. A pina colada (sorry, can't figure out how to make the ~) sat in front of her, half empty. It was very... very fruity. She wasn't sure she liked it, but whatever. There was nothing exciting going on lately. Okay, sure, the other night she got shot in the stomach, but other than that? Life was boring. Or death, if you prefer.
Her hair today was shoulder-length, and straightened. She had thought about getting highlights, but decided against it and left it plain auburn. Her clothes were simple- black pants made of some light, stretchy fabric she couldn't identify, rather chunky black ankle-boots, and a violently purple shirt with neon blue symbols that simply read, "@#*&!". Her jacket was heaped over the back of her chair.
Yawn, yawn, yawn, she thought, idly tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. She put her elbow on the counter, and rested her chin in one hand, swirling the drink with the cheap plastic staw with the other.

Tino had spotted the girl sitting at the counter. His eyes traveled over her. He was sitting in the shadows so it would be hard to tell that he was full out staring. She was pretty enough he supposed. He wasn't attracted to women the way most men were. He picked out his victims very carefully.
The barmaid came over then. "Need a refill?" she asked.
"Yeah. Vodka on the rocks but less rocks and more vodka this time," was his snippy reply. "Oh and find out what that chick over at the counter is drinking and get her another."
The barmaid walked away to head back to the bar. She approached the auburn. "That gentleman over there told me to find out what you're drinking and get you another. So what'll it be?"

She looked up, surprised. "What? I'm sorry, I wasn't listening." The barmaid repeated it to her. "Um, a pina colada," she said, glancing down at the drink as if it were going to nod and agree with her. "I guess another one's okay," she added, looking in the direction the barmaid had come from. There was somebody in the shadows down there- though it wasn't that surprising, really. It was a night club, so there were bound to be people there. She took a few large swallows of her drink. If I'm getting another one, I might as well finish this one, she thought.

The barmaid mixed up the lady's drink and proceeded to pour the vodka on the rocks for the guy in the shadows. She made sure to have less 'rocks' in this one. She placed the pina colada in front of the lady, nodded her head and walked towards the corner.
"Here's your drink. That'll be $8.50 for the two drinks," the barmaid told the guy in the shadows.
Tino couldn't help but look the barmaid up and down. She was quite appealing. He gave her a polite smile and handed her a $10 bill. "Thanks. Keep the change."
Then he turned his gaze back to the chick at the bar and totally ignored the barmaid. It was his way of dismissing her. He didn't even notice when she walked away. He lifted his glass up and out of the shadows a bit. It was like he was toasting the chick at the counter without having their glasses touch. Then he took a small gulp.

Upon finishing her first glass, she started on the second. They were actually very good... mmm pinapple. Liberty turned her head in time to see him toast... or was he toasting? She couldn't tell, so she just gave a little smile and went back to her drink. Curiosity, however, was eating at her. Why had a stranger from across the room bought her a drink? She was fairly certain that it wasn't a common thing. However, she was unsure on what to do. Stay put, or walk over and strike up a conversation? She decided to remain seated, and did so, often glancing in his direction with curious expressions, wondering.

Tino finished his drink and found himself growing quite bored with just sitting here in this place. Without a word he got up and walked right past the girl who he had bought a drink for. Out the door he went and vanished into the crowd of people...
((so sorry... I'm lacking in inspiration for what to post at the moment so figured I wouldn't leave ya stuck))
