Title: Its a new dawn, its a new day, and Im feeling good
Description: (open)

Avi was hoping to become blissfully unaware tonight, more unaware than normal. A tall glass of some pinkish concoction was set in front of her, already half empty (half full?) and her fingers were wrapped around it like it was the only solid thing in existence. Dependant? Possibly. Addicted? Definitely.
Blonde hair stuck out of a messily done ponytail, some strands defying gravity and most likely the laws of physics. Brown eyes were flicking around the bar at a mile a minute though the rest of her seemed quite relaxed. A slightly loose army green t-shirt, jeans and worn out sneakers gave her a casual look though her abundant piercings turned that into a more “raver's day off” type of thing.
Her free hand was tapping on the bar counter some annoying little ditty that sounded something like “Feeling Good”, she even started to bob her head to the tune playing in her mind.

Lucifer was just watching. Watching waiting, staring. It was very creepy the way he just looked like that. His eyes were almost... they had appeared to be distant and have a far away effect to them right now. But he was concentrated on something. Definitely. He was very focused on a girl.
He had followed her in here, because he felt like it. He felt like being creepy at that moment, and creepy he indeed was.
His hair came down to frame his face in an almost attractively messy way, and his green eyes almost appeared to be taking occasional glimpses at something.
Loud music. Damn idiots. He hated music.
He blended in with the crowd perfectly. Black. Lots of black. Leather. Tight leather. That's all he wore to clubs and bars nowadays.
He strode up to the bar, mumbled something about a tequila to the bartender, and then paid him the money. Of course he'd been inching his way towards Avian.
Rummeh - September 22, 2004 01:25 AM (GMT)
And, of course, she didn’t notice. It wouldn’t be fun if she noticed… and she would only notice if she was sober on some high-alertness drug and drugs are bad mmkay. So Avi was still staring at the swirleh wood patterns in the table, concentrating enough to block out almost all noise in the club. Occasionally she would move to take a sip of her drink but other than that she just kept staring at the table.
Pretty table, swirleh and shiny.
She traced a neon orange nail, paint scratched and nail bitten, acrossed the table. With her wide eyes she looked almost drugged.
Arcane Blood - September 22, 2004 01:29 AM (GMT)
He took the double shot of tequila that the bartender had slid him, drank it, and slammed it back down as if it were nothing. Still creepy stalkerish gaze held on Avian. He appeared to be a bit... out of it today, even before he had his drink.
He didn't notice the swirls or anything, for Avian was his only main attraction right this second.
Rummeh - September 22, 2004 01:38 AM (GMT)
The loud ‘thud’ of glass hitting wood caused her to twitch involuntarily and her head snapped up with those seemingly ever darting eyes…well, darting. But her drink was more interesting than her Jack-The-Ripper Stalker, so she had a race to see who could finish their drink faster, her or her imaginary friend Bob. Sadly Bob won.
Oh well, yay Bob!
Arcane Blood - September 22, 2004 01:44 AM (GMT)
Hmm. Bob appeared to be more interesting than Lucifer. That was sad to know. Lucifer blinked, reached into his pocket, and pulled out some money to pay for his second double shot. While he was waiting for the drink, he... er, 'accidentally' kicked the barstool Avi was sitting on.
Rummeh - September 22, 2004 01:50 AM (GMT)
Luc finally got a response and Avi snapped out of her little dream land into relative sanity for the moment. She jumped at her stool being kicked, but took a sip of her pink..thingeh to bring her nerves back in check.
“Oh.. ‘ello.” A slight, almost non existent, New York accent was able to be picked up in her speech.
Once again her mind didn’t register the whole “stalker” thing. It always missed important stuff like that.
Arcane Blood - September 22, 2004 01:55 AM (GMT)
Now that he had her attention, he turned away from her. He was being a tease. A creepy tease. He waited for the bartender to refill his drink, and when he had, he took a slow sip of it. Only then did he turn back to Avian.
"Hello." His voice was thick with a German accent. He was just... now lazily sitting on a barstool. And nobody knew how he apparently just managed to get there.
Rummeh - September 22, 2004 02:06 AM (GMT)
It finally registered in her brain that the seat next to her was empty before and that guy was just…odd. Cool accent but…odd.
“Were you there before?”
Talk about blunt, but she wasn’t the most observant of women so she wouldn’t exactly notice.
Arcane Blood - September 22, 2004 02:09 AM (GMT)
"Yes." He said with a nod, and another sip of his drink. Of course it had been a lie. If she hadn't noticed, he would be able to get away with it too.
He put his free hand on the swirly wood counter, and then looked at her once more. "You didn't notice?" He was heading the right way for a smacked ass.
Rummeh - September 22, 2004 02:15 AM (GMT)
“No, obviously not.”
She sighed, shook her head, and took another sip of her drink. Okay maybe he wasn’t that bad…or maybe she was drunker than she thought. Yay for booze.
(gah, short post...but Im about ready to throw up x.x evil ice cream)
Arcane Blood - September 22, 2004 02:22 AM (GMT)
"I guess not." He shrugged offhandedly, finally finishing the drink, and once again offered money for another double shot. After he'd downed that one, he was a little bit dizzier than he had previously been. The room appeared to be moving. It would have been nice if Bob had befriended him right now. He needed somebody to be horribly drunk with.
(Aww. -hugs.-)
Rummeh - September 22, 2004 03:00 AM (GMT)
Well, Avi could possibly share Bob…but then again she could be an awfully possessive little thing, and Avi was too drunk to share. The lines of objects had becomes blurred and the room appeared to move without moving and she felt like she was spinning around in circles, altogether very trippy.
Looking over at her “neighbor” she shook her head and hiccupped. “You don’t look sho good.” Oh, and she was slurring her speech.
And she suddenly felt bouncy. Boingy boingy boing.
Arcane Blood - September 23, 2004 10:05 PM (GMT)
It was almost impossible to hear her over the music, and... what's that? Yes, she was indeed slurring her speech. Lovely. Just lovely. He wanted her to share Bob. That made him sad, but he was really too drunk to care.
Bouncy? Nah, more like unable to drown everything in his drinks.
"You don't look any better." His German accent was stronger than he intended it to be. Yep. He was a little... out of it.
Rummeh - September 23, 2004 10:10 PM (GMT)
“Do I evah look good?”
Rhetorical at best she shrugged her shoulders and finally finished off the drink she had been sipping at with one large gulp.
Fishing around in her pockets she procured a lighter and a black pack of cigarettes with the name “Cervantes” scrawled acrossed the lid in some fancy sort of calligraphy shit. Pulling one of those lovely little cancer sticks out of the pack and lighting it up she slid the pack over to Luc. Everyone smoked, if they didn’t they weren’t normal in her opinion.
Arcane Blood - September 23, 2004 10:23 PM (GMT)
He wouldn't know, because he had never seen her before. But his mind was dead to logic right now. "Nope." He said, not even trying to speak clearly now.
He took the offered pack of ciggarettes, pulled one of them out, then slid it back to her without so much as a thanks. Of course he smoked. He was a walking bad habit.
Pulling out a Redsox lighter, (from somewhere. it didn't look like that could be stuffed in his pockets) he lit it, and then put the lighter back in its proper place. (Thin air? It looked like it.)
Rummeh - September 23, 2004 10:42 PM (GMT)
She sighed and took a puff of her cigarette, contemplating one whether to buy another drink and continue her spiraling decent into bottom of the bottle. Hehe, spiraling. Funny word.
Avi watched Luc and his disappearing lighter act with mild interest. Alcohol was making her bored.. and slightly tired.
Arcane Blood - September 23, 2004 10:56 PM (GMT)
Dissapearing lighter act? Yep. Showing off? Yep. Not working? Yeeeepp.
He couldn't afford another drink even if he wanted to.
Bored? Yep. That's why he came in here. Drunk? Well, slightly. Okay, yes.
He took a drag of the ciggarette and turned his attention to... err, the floor. Yep. Interesting stuff right there.
"Pretty huh?" Randomn ass.
Rummeh - September 23, 2004 11:01 PM (GMT)
“Wha? Ya. And where the hell did your lighter go.”
She only noticed it because, being a die hard Yankees fan, it said Redsox on it. The arch enemy.
She tossed more money on the table, she needed more alcohol. The bartender soon came back with a Sangria for her and a beer for Luc.
Arcane Blood - September 23, 2004 11:08 PM (GMT)
Redsox the enemy? Nah, quite the opposite. And ever since that Yankees song came out... Yeah, he pushed that aside.
"Right here." He said, flipping it back between his fingers and securely into his hand. Show off.
He was still looking at the floor. After all, there was nothing more interesting than a floor. Maybe if he knew he had another drink he might've looked up.
Rummeh - September 23, 2004 11:38 PM (GMT)
She nodded half heartedly and nudged him with her foot.
“Drink yer beer.”
((short but..blah, my mind is mush))
Arcane Blood - September 23, 2004 11:51 PM (GMT)
What? Where did that come from? Another drink. Well, fuck the floor.
He lifted his head, and reached for the beer. Sure, smiling was his way of appreciation. Flashy, straight white teeth. Drunken appreciation, but it'd have to do.
He fiddled with it for a minute, then eventually gulped some down.
